The package says this item is an AM/FM signal amplifier, but it in fact only works for FM. I called the company and they confirmed it was an error in packaging, and it is FM-only.

It works reasonably well for stations that come in weakly on FM with a little static, but note that if you have a lot of noise on a station, it will end up amplify that signal too and may not be useful.

I bought this product to remove a stripped torx screw from my lawn edger. I followed the directions exactly and everything went smoothly until I started to turn the screw out using the extrctor when the drill-out extractor snapped inside the screw. Now the problem escalated with a broken extractor stuck dead center in the screw and the drill-out is made of "hardened" steel. Trust me ... you are screwed (no pun intended) once that happens. So beware of using this product unless the screw is going to come out without much effort because these drill outs easily break inside the screw itself. I have to give this product a 2** because the instructions give you no clue that this may happen. Needless to say, what could have been an hour project turned into many hours of hard labor.

So one of the features of this charger is that it "charges both NiCads and Nimh batteries" - yet the manufacturer's comments state that it charges only Nimh batteries ("for NiCads use charger EY0900B").

The 2002 Panasonic catalogue lists charging times of 90mins for N(3Ah) NIMH batteries; 60mins for F(2Ah) NICAD batteries; and 45mins for C(1.2Ah) NICAD batteries - with this charger.

I received this order a couple of weeks back.

This is a two sided 1 PIECE Metric Flip impact socket NOT a "2 Piece 1/2" Drive Metric Flip Impact Automotive Socket Set". I guess that's where the "Flip" comes into play. The 1/2" drive is recessed in the middle of the socket. I think you need an extension to use the bit as the 1/2" drive is in the middle. You can't directly hook up to a standard impact wrench without an extension to the 1/2" drive.

I don't know why they called this a socket set, because all I received was one socket and nothing else.


I wish they would clear this up in the title and the picture listed for this item.

I gave it two stars for this reason, as far as durability, use, etc... I have not had the chance to use this socket.

...but takes all day to charge. Ran desk top PC great.
Runs lights too. Will not power up my (AC) coffee maker!

I bought this Black and Decker heat gun to use for encaustic painting. I have actually bought this same heat gun 3 times and the third one just died on me. I'm a slow learner, I suppose. I have just learned the cheap power tool lesson. Cheap power tools are a false economy! Now I have to buy my fourth heat gun, and it will definitely NOT be a Black and Decker!

This was absolutely horrible. THe very first time we used it it broke with in 10 seconds. Unfortunately it was after the 30 day mark from when we bought it here...

Borrowed it from the neighbor, it burned out after two days of use, perhaps 4 hours runtime. As the other reviews here say, "junk" -- don't waste your money.

I wish I had read these reviews before I purchased TWO (yes two) of these compressors. The other reviews cover everything about these paper weights.

I bought two of these from a discount store that doesn't give refunds. One unit was for myself and the other as a gift. We bought the unit to fill excersize balls, beach balls, kids toys, etc.

Well...the one unit we had already thrown the box away, so we couldn't return it. The other unit we took back for in store credit and the unit we had to keep we put out with the trash.

It's junk!

The previous reviews have touched on everything about this piece of junk. The gauge is totally off and the switch broke after a few uses. It wouldn't fill my truck tires at all. Fortunately I got my money back from Pep Boys. Avoid this product.

Very bad product failed after 2 times. I too went for a brand name thinking Coleman means good. But I find it not true more and more now that manufactures move production to China the products become total crap. All this thing is good for is testing Galileo's free fall acceleration theory while throwing it from the window.

You will be hard pressed to find any Cold Heat users with a positive disposition on this product. It is difficult thing to use. It has very fragile tips and doesn't get very high up in temperature. Use solder that's too thick and it doesn't melt. Solder too thin, and you'll have a hell of a time connecting the electrodes on the tips. A simple solder job on a guitar cable turned into a hour long battle of will and determination to get the electrodes at the right angle to operate. Don't believe me, go borrow one and try it out. It all looks good on paper; the price, the technology, even the design. The Cold Heat tool is just not very practical, or functional.

I got this at Home Depot for doing some things on my computer. I got it and the very, very thin solder that they did not say you needed and I had to go to 4 different places. Then as I got home I sat down and started soldering and it would not give me a good joint. Then as i put the soldering iron into it's case furious that i only made a half decent joint the tip broke as I was puting into the section just for it.

Go get a normal soldering iron. It may be less safe but at least it works.

seemed like a good idea to have one of these just in case. Well befor keeping it i wanted to try it out. Item didn't work at all. I tried it with two different gauge solders, and it did not work on either. I even tried it with new batteries and that didn't help. I was quite patient, and started with the solder only first and never got it to work. Im not sure if it was deffective or not, I also check the tip installment to no avail. By the time it started to work, the plastic housing around the tip began to melt. This was the point that i just returned it.

Cubic feet per minute (CFM) is the deciding factor for a compressors performance. If the compressor is not capable of producing enough air volume you will end up waiting and waiting to inflate. Most typical 12 volt air compressors on the market put out between 0.05 cfm and 0.07 cfm and cost anywhere from 9.99-100.00 and just don't do the job.
If you are looking for a 12 volt air compressor with some CFM look for the " most powerful 12 volt air compressor" based on the CFM. 1.2 CFM - 1.9 CFM, more than enough CFM for the job, prices are around 50.00-100.00. Great to have for those " Oh no, low tire days. Inflates a typical tire in 2 minutes.

I bought this product to avoid frequent trips to the gas station to check tire pressure on two cars. This product has two MAJOR flaws. First, it literally took over an hour to raise the tire pressure a few psi on each tire of two cars. Second, the instructions state "do not use the compressor for over 2 minutes if using to fill high-pressure items." "Allow the compressor to cool for 15 minutes or more between uses." Right. Do the math. Unfortunately, they mean it. It would have taken DAYS to fill my tires following those directions. Unfortunately, second time I used the product the motor burned out. I am forced to conclude this was a bad-faith marketing trick from the beginning. It has dramatically lowered my previously high opinion of Coleman products.

I bought 2 of these at Wal Mart, one for each car. I should have known there was a reason they have them marked down to $6.50 each, they are hoping it will cost you more than that in fuel to drive them back to the store. I tried them both on a low tire the next morning and I believe it would have taken about 1 hour to move the tire gauge from 21 PSI up to 32 PSI. I could barely feel the air pulse on the tip of my finger when running wide open.
I can't imagine how long it would take to air up a completely flat tire.
I took them back (since I had 2, a $13 plus tax refund made it attractive to me)> I'm still looking for a good alternative...

I read where this item has a lifetime lithium battery warranty. So there should be no problem!!!!! Just return it. Right??

I bought this product elsewhere, but I must say it's probably the worst car product I've ever purchased.

I used it ONCE. The next time I tried, it was broken or the battery was too low -- and that's within 6 weeks! Buy this product and you've thrown your money away. Period.

I owned this item, and it died within about a year with only minor use -- maybe once every two months. The battery can't be replaced. What a waste of money.
