Hand Tool Review Great for stairs and pet hari
I bought this based on another Amazon review. It is great for pet hair on stairs and upholstery. The hose is short, but the power is worth it!

Hand Tool Review Awesome!
Wow...I never knew that I could get my rug this clean. I use this for everything, sucking up crumbs, hair from the bed and rug, you name it. It has amazing suction powers, I got so much dirt and dust off of my rug that I'm plain floored. My only quibble with it is that I need to get new filters for it and Amazon doesn't stock them.

Hand Tool Review Warning on Portability
YOU CANNOT GET THE SAW THROUGH A 30" DOOR WHEN MOUNTED ON THE STAND. Everything else is great. So what? I can't move it to the basement, from the garage into the house, into my storage room. The width is 29" at the wheels. Sounds good - if any of my doors opened 180 degrees and didn't have stop molding. In practice 27.5" should have been the design width they worked within. That should not have been difficult given the saw width is 25".
And don't think you can just turn it side ways and slide it through. With the stand and blade guard installed (both require tools to remove), the profile is more than 29". You can wiggle it through but I doubt the plastic blade guard will survive too many attempts. The whole assembly is also very heavy and awkward when trying this.
Don't underestimate how important this is. Only my front door is greater than 30 inches. Every other door is 30".

Hand Tool Review Second purchase, different purpose.
This will be my second stand, as I purchased the Bosch saw/stand combo a few years ago. The new stand will replace a mickeymouse thing now under my 10" Bosch comp.miter saw. I was looking at the Rigid MSUV table for the miter, and I'm sure it's a fine unit. But since I'm not encumbered by time, and I have lightweight portable supports, I didn't really need the on-board roller supports. And I'm very pleased with the stability and ease of set-up of the Bosch table. Besides, it's less money now than the Rigid and Amazon doesn't sell the Ridgid (not now, anyway). I'll probably have to adapt the miter hole patterns to the new saw frame, but that's minor stuff. I know how well the table saw gets around on this base, so it didn't make sense to go to something different and wind up disappointed. It really is a very well designed base!

Hand Tool Review Bosch TS2000 Gravity-Rise Wheeled Table Saw Stand with Universal Mounting Slots
This is my second purchase of this item and I am well pleased. It is easy to assemble and easy to operate. I now own 4 of these stands and would rate them high above any other similar item on the current market regardless of price. It is very sturdy, balanced, and well designed.

Hand Tool Review Well worth $20.
These straps take away the difficulty of getting a grip on an item and still getting into a comfortable walking position. The straps take gripping completely out of the process and allow you stand up straight with the item out away from your body, thus allowing you to walk comfortably, even while carrying a heavy item. For $20, I was very impressed and very glad we got them. I do agree that they are difficult for carrying items up or down stairs, as the item tends to slide or shift on the straps. There may be a good technique for this, but we never figured it out.

Hand Tool Review Above All Co. Forearm Forklift Lifting Straps (Orange)
This is a great item, we used it to lift big and heavy refrigerator plus other items when we were moving. The straps really helped a lot, it reduces the amount of bending and using your back, instead we were able to stay up-straight and use our arms instead of back to do the lifting. The straps have 3 different heigh settings for your arms so its really comfortable, and they're made from a very strong material so they will last years. The straps can be folded to minimize storage size so they're very compact yet when unfolded they are quite long. I highly reccommend these straps to anyone

Hand Tool Review Excellent performance
I have owned this pack for a few years. The compressor and nailer have worked without problems. When considering this combo, be sure that this is the right nailer for the task you have in mind. This combo pack is great for a beginner pack. I have added several other nailers to my collection.

Hand Tool Review Best Tool I Own Hands Down!
This combo pack is ideal! I had never owned a Porter Cable product until my father gave this to me as a Christmas gift. My initial attempt at installing crown molding was daunting. Well, after the first piece I was a pro. I have never experienced a tool that has allowed me to raise my DIY skills to such a high level. I feel like a professional. I am now removing the original crown molding that was poorly installed when I bought my house. I plan on replacing all of the crown molding utilizing my Porter Cable Finish Nailer and Pancake Compressor combo and my DeWalt 12" Combo miter Saw. Two indispensible tools for anyone. Spend the money and finally enjoy projects rather than dreading them. This unit will save you an incredible amount of time. You may want to keep a nail set and a hammer around though as I have had occasional nail heads stick up. However, this only happens about 1 in 50 nails that I've driven.

Hand Tool Review Works Good
I remodeled my basement a while back and this is the compressor I used to do the framing. It kept up ok with the framing nailer that I borrowed. I also used the finish nailer to put up my trim boards. The compressor wasn't able to keep up with my die grinder though. I used the die grinder to prepare my gutters on my house for painting, and I would have to stop quite often to let the compressor catch up. For little jobs like what I used mine for, however, this compressor will work just fine.

Hand Tool Review This is a great sander.
I teach high school Wood Fabrication and Manufacturing and I have two of the Bosch 3727 Random Orbital Sanders in my shop. I have used other random orbital sanders in the past, like Dewalt and Ryobi, and I found them difficult to hold on too. These sanders are wonderful. They are very smooth, create an excellent finish and are very well balanced and stable. You can easily hold on to them with one hand and keep the sanding pad on the work piece. Definitely the best random orbital sander I've ever used.

Hand Tool Review Great sander!
I have this sander at home and it does an amazing job. I have a Fein vacuum that, when connected to the sander, makes it pretty much dust free. The sanders own dust bag does a good job too but hooked up to the vacuum you really get spoiled.

If you work in a wood working shop everyday the sanders to get would be the Fein 8", 6" and a pneumatic 5" or 6". The Fein has a lager throw so it sands off more with each pass than the Bosch with the same grit paper.

The Bosch however is easier to control, lighter, very quiet (compared to the Fein), less expensive, and a lot more comfortable to use. I work in a shop making furniture so I do a lot of sanding and I have been very happy with this sander!

Hand Tool Review Awsome piece of equipment
I bought this sander to replace my Dewalt palm sander and I love it. Its a little heavy if your sanding walls or a ceiling but if you're on a flat surface its fine. The paper is a snap to change. This is a truly awesome sander.

Hand Tool Review Quality Tools
I purchased a Ryobi combo set that included the same tools as the Makita combo set. Battery life with the Ryobi was short and the recip saw broke after a few hours. I returned the Ryobi set and purchased the Makita combo set after reading the customer reviews here.

I put up galvanized steel fence panels on my property and used the reciprocating saw to cut the panels to fit. What a difference! The recip saw cut through the galvanized steel like butter! A nice feature is the adjustable shoe. Being able to move the shoe up or down lengthens the life of the blade by moving the cutting edge to other parts of the blade. Another nice feature is the do-it-yourself carbon brush changes on the recip and drill/driver. The drill is in itself is really nice. Again, the quality of the tool was evident. Batteries seemed to last a long time.

I've grown up using corded tools [usually past down from my father] and finally decided to buy a nice cordless tool set after tripping on extension cords once too many times. Power is right up there with the corded tools.

If you are looking for a good set of tools, this is the set to buy.

Hand Tool Review One of the best tool tools I ever bought
I bought this tool set about 1 year ago and It is so handy. I have used it more times than I can count. I am a carpenter and I use it from trim work to cutting plywood off the eves of a roof. I am very impressed with the power of the drill, the amount of work I can get out of the tools on one charge of the batteries and how efficient the tools are to use. The tools are very rugged and durable. They have held up very well on the jobsite and I use them just about everyday. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs the power of a corded tool with the effiecency of a cordless.

Hand Tool Review Awesome drill, Great Circ Saw
Have now used this kit quite a bit while building a shed from scratch.

The drill is incredible. Great power, flexibility, balance and battery life. I have managed to break one of the two included bits, but I replaced it at the hardware store for 89 cents. The drill itself seems solid and well built, even after a lot of use.

The circ saw is powerful enough and well balanced, but battery life can be an issue if you don't plan your charges in advance.

The recip saw is nice enough and well balanced, if a little heavy (I had to do some tight cutting above my head and holding it up there was a little tiring after a while).

The flashlight? Well, it just sits there. I suppose it would be ok, but usually both of my batteries are taken, either by a tool or the charger.

The standout here is really the drill, followed by the circular saw. The fact that I don't have to drag a cord around is simply wonderful, and the 18v tools provide more than enough power for the things I do.

Hand Tool Review A great gift to myself!
I was so excited to finally receive my bench that I had to assemble it right away. I am very pleased with its dimensions and great storage options. Additionally, it is durable and looks splendid in my backyard. Highly recommended!

Hand Tool Review Great Bench
I received my bench yesterday, and I love it! It is extremely sturdy and well-made. It took less than 10 minutes to put together. I didn't even really need the instruction manual that came with it. I paid <$100 with shipping and would have happily paid more for the quality of this bench. I would definitely recommend this product!

Hand Tool Review Easy Installation
It took about an hour to install this potting bench. Although one piece was missing, I was able to contact Amazon.com and a the missing piece came in a few days. Easy clean-up too!!!

Hand Tool Review Panasonic 12v Drill
Over the past 8 years, I have worn out four different manufacturers' 12 volt drills. This panasonic is hands down better than any of the competition. The balance and performance of the drill is pure QUALITY. The chuck says it all. I truly enjoy using this drill. All of my team mates at Habitat-for-Humanity beg to use it.

Hand Tool Review Best value beyond the price
You will not be disappointed with this drill motor. It is every thing the reviews say it is and then some. I have other brands, the Panasonic has better balance, unexpected power and it's a great bargin. In the future I will buy another Panasonic.

Hand Tool Review Panasonic cordless driver
I absolutely love this driver. It has the best balance of all the drivers I've owned and tried and am very impressed with the quality of workmanship.

Hand Tool Review An Excellent Saw
I have my own business in Lawn maintanace and often trim palm trees. I have been using a chain saw that extends to 11'. The Trees that I trim have now grown beyond the safe length of use on the pole saw so I decided to purchase the HAYAUCHI 390 21-Feet saw. I used it for the first time this week and it made light work out of taking down palm leaves. Plus I could get the saw into spots where I couldn't get the chain saw. It's light weight and sharp, well worth the money.

Hand Tool Review Silky Pole Saw is Excellent!!
This saw is the best thing I have ever bought for trimming my trees!! Easy to use and light weight. I was sceptical at first because i am used to a powered pole saw but this thing cuts like butter.

Hand Tool Review Excellent saw!
The Silky saw was recommended to me by an employee of the Washington State Forestry department. I bought one last year, and used it every week-end. It cuts a little easier when it's closer to horizontal, due to cutting under it's own weight. I showed it to my ex-wife, who bought it from me, hence I just ordered another one for myself. No complaints here!

Hand Tool Review not impressed yet in connecticut
just started to take on large roofing projects myself (i used to sub them out)and asked around which gun to buy. the answer was either stanley or hitachi. personally i hate stanley, so went with the nv45. my 1st project with the gun was 27 squares.
it was a reroof so i used 1 3/4" nails. at least 60-70% of the nails needed a little persuasion with my hammer. a real waste of time. but the gun only jammed once which wasnt bad to clear, it only took a minute. had the pressure up to 100 psi so am not sure what the problem was.

Hand Tool Review Excellent for tile backer
I'm a ceramic and marble installer and everything i do is over Cement board. I finally broke down 3 years ago and got with the program and picked up one of these guns. A roofer friend pointed me in the right direction. Initially i wasn't impressed, it left the nails slightly proud and required some extra hammering. From my experience these guns have a definite "break in" period. A few months after my purchase this tool started to perform flawlessly and still does.

I don't use this as much as a roofer would, but to date i have had maybe 2 jammed nails and zero repairs!!

great tool. period.

Hand Tool Review not impressed yet in connecticut
i recently stated that the gun had difficulties with 1 3/4" nails on a reroof project, someone had suggested to stay away from the longer nails and i switched to 1 1/2" nails.
amazind difference!! gun sank every nail and never had a jam.
dont know why they advertise it as a 1 3/4" gun when it isnt. but know i know. guess i should have bought the stanley bostich
