Anvils Review Malco 48 brake works well in the field
This is a simple lite wieght portable brake that works as expected. Great for retro fits.

Anvils Review Great Tool
Great tool for the handyman. Works great for my part-time business.

Anvils Review good quality, portable and [inexpensive] in comparison
I use this small and not to heavy break for HVAC duct work. I can carry the brake by myself and can do pretty good work with it.It's devinitly not a toy and does a great job, when you only have to use it once in a while. For every day use, you need a big break in your shop for better speed and accuracy.

Anvils Review I love it
This is a solid, heavy-duty impact wrench using 1/2 inch sockets. It comes without a case or sockets. It is powerful, easily driving 5/8" lags (5 inches) into old, very hard wood (with a pilot hole). I had a small job to do but it was worth the money for this wrench.

Anvils Review Works with Porter Cable Job Boss Compressor
While looking at impact wrenches, several people told me that they would work with a small compressor and several told me that they would not.
I purchased the Chicago Pneumatic CP7733-2 impact wrench and it worked fine with my Porter Cable Job Boss Mod. C3551 Air Compressor which has a 4.5 gallon tank and is rated 4.4SCFM @ 90PSI (max pressure 150psi). I set the compressor at 90psi (recommended for the impact wrench) and was able to remove all the wheels from my truck. I did have a problem with one lug after removing the other 5 from that wheel, but found that the wheel was in a bind. Once I jacked the tire up completely off the ground, the lug came off with ease. I then changed wheels on my dad's vehicle and it worked very nicely. It seemed to have plenty of power.
A CP Rep that I spoke with said this was a good entry level impact wrench. At one of the local tire shops I was at recently, it looked like they were using the same model impact wrench. I use mine for home use however.
During testing that I did with the impact wrench and my compressor, I found that when tank pressure was full at 150PSI, the impact wrench would hammer for approx. 20 seconds or so before the air pressure would drop enough that the compressor would need to pump up. In general, I found it necessary to let the compressor pump back up after every 4 or 5 lugs that I removed. A big compressor would be nice, but for home use you just have to stop and let a smaller compressor pump up once in a while.
One concern I have is making the lugs too tight. I had the impact wrench set on #4. After each lug was on, I hit each one again real quick. I then checked the lugs with a hand wrench and was unable to tighten them any more. I may purchase a torque wrench to go with this so I don't over tighten particularly on alloy wheels. I don't think this particular wrench is powerful enough to twist a lug bolt off, but I wouldn't recommend letting the impact wrench hammer away when tightening them.

    Anvils Review dewalt dw296 impact
This is the best impact wrench that you can buy for your money. It provides 300 ft/lbs of tourque, and is more than enough for your average applications. I think Dewalt produced an excellent tool by making the dw296. Most stores that I checked did not carry it... The ergonomical grip fits perfect in your hand and has the right balance to it. It is very comfortable in use. I highly reccomend buying one of these!

Anvils Review Shark Corporation 62-5557 Anvil Lopper
I just received this and tried it out for the first time today. It is very nicely constructed, seems like it will last a long time, and cuts through anything you can get between the blade and anvil very easily. As you would expect, you cannot work it very far over your head since you have to spread the handles wide to start a cut.

My only negative is that the unit I received showed some shelfwear (dirty and the plastic sheath over the blade torn) though was unused. Given the price that wasn't an issue.

Anvils Review Don't try on large branches
This unit works well for small branches. The light weight is appreciated, and the stainless blade is a useful upgrade as standard blades rust from the tree sap. But I used mine on some heavier branches, still within the recommended diameter range, and something slipped so that the blade no longer touches the anvil. The tool therefore is practically useless, as you do not get a clean cut. There is no way to adjust or fix this pruner when that happens. And the lifetime warranty is of dubious value, as you must send the tool back at your expense, plus keep and be able to find the original receipt. They should model their warranty after Craftsman.

    Anvils Review Incredibly lightweight
Don't be fooled by the light weight of this item--it's cutting power is amazing. It's an anvil lopper, as opposed to the more popular bypass type of lopper, but the anvil is a much more efficient cutting method. Anvil cutting method (regardless of brand) tends to damage what it is cutting, so the best use of this tool is to cut dead branches, or live ones that you don't care if they survive of not. This is the perfect tool for cutting back rose bushes in the fall. If your arms ever get sore from wielding heavy tools, this is the ideal lopper/pruner for you. I believe this item is made in Finland--home of the infamous Fiskars orange handled scissors. This is the perfect gift for any gardener.

    Anvils Review Blades are available
I broke a blade after several years of use and abuse. While I was researching a replacement blade I bought a brand new FL-3420 lopper, because I liked the old one so much. Just ordered a new replacement blade by calling Corona directly as mentioned in other reviews. Only complaint is that the foam rubber grips on the old set have come loose and slide up and down the handles. I intend to reseat those with the same stuff I use for my motorcycle grips. Otherwise, these work great.

Anvils Review Great lopper and replacements are available
This has been an excellent tool for me for many years. I have had no problems with it in all that time. A friend used mine to cut steel cable. Yes, it did, but damaged the blade.

[...]Or you can buy a brand new one from Amazon for 30 bucks and know you are getting a great deal on great equipment.

Anvils Review replacement blades and anvil

Anvils Review Good performance albeit some warts
    1) The lopper cuts clean and effortlessly
    2) The plastic pull handle supplied digs too deeply into the pull cord and is a chore to disengage although the manufacturer describes it as a "quick release" handle, I got so fed up with it that I switched over to the wooden handle from my Sears Craftsman pole pruner to the Wolf-Garten and ditched the Wolf-Garten handle.
    3) One of the plated pivot bolts on the lopper started corroding badly within only a few months. I have been in constant contact with Wolf-Garten USA in trying to obtain a replacement and after several months am still awaiting the replacement bolt. They are quite frankly not very responsive and parts are as scarce as hens teeth.
