Great and easy clampAs with the entire quick grip products the features that should entice you to buy and use the Quick-Grip 00500 7-1/4" Spreader Clamp are the ease of adjustment and the fact that it won't mar even the softest of wood yet still provide ample force for your project. People with low hand strength or hand pain can use the trigger ratchet used for the adjustment with ease. It only requires a firm squeeze slightly over the pressure used for scissors.

This is one of the most often used sizes. Great clampsI personally get more use out of this size than the other ones. Mainly because it is small enough to be handy, yet large enough to clamp even 4x4s to a, for example radial arm saw top. Great for holding a quick stop on a saw top as well. It has the macro length jaws for farther reaching, and the handy size.
The big benefit to these is that you get true mobility out of them. While holding a piece of work, lined up, in one hand, you use these quick grips in the other hand to secure the work. If it slips while clamping, it is still a one handed tool to release it, and reclamp it again. Enables you to maintain a professional flow to your work. I feel awkward when using regular clamps in comparison. They require two hands. You could use a spring clamp to hold it together, then get another clamp to give it a final hold, but the quick grip saves you from having to do that.
Having these clamps in a few different sizes is beneficial as well. Small ones are more frequently used, and don't get in the way. The 33 1/2" is great when you need to hold larger projects together, and you can't effectively use two smaller ones to substitute. Additionally the macro clamps give you deeper jaws for a farther reach, enabling you to use them for securing work, to your radial arm saw table for example. They are fast enough to be used for almost any application. Sometimes I use them to secure work when sanding with a power sander. A couple squeezes and they are on, and one squeeze and they pop off.
After getting the smaller ones, and using them, I immediately order two of the 33 1/2" for larger projects, and for tie downs on equipment, including the drill press, and occasionally the radial arm saw.
Their is a small rubber stopper, which you can readily remove, in order to reverse the end, and make it a spreader as well. Something not needed very often, but difficult to achieve without one of these.
One note is that these have built in rubber pads, that completely cover the metal internal end. That is an advantage when you do not want to mar the wood. That and the fact that you can squeeze these with one hand, creates a mechanism that is easy to use, but not something that you would want to use for strength clamping. As a safety measure, these clamp sufficiently for most operations, but a threaded bar clamp, is stronger. So for those operations where extreme strength is needed, these are not the clamps to use. You sacrifice mountain holding strength for the ease of use. For example if I was using a large bit on the drill press, and drilling into metal, I would clamp it with something more. Even the slightest movement in an operation like that, could cause a snag, sending the piece into movement. If you are using just one of them, at the end of a 24" board, and decide to rout the other end, it will move on you. Securing it with two of them, and it is super tied down. You get my drift.
The big advantage of quick grip clamps, is that they handle wood beautifully, even for glue up operations. Hold workpieces more than securely to do the job in most applications, and are so handy that they deserve more than 5 stars. I would feel lost without them. It is another tool in the must have category.

One man shop, these are a mustI do lots of small boxes and drawers. These clamps are perfect to use one handed to hold the small sides in place while I get stronger clamps in place. They're not strong enough for glue-ups. But they will keep the parts in place while you put the screw clamps on.
When there's no one around to help you'll be glad to have these!

A Third HandBoy, am I glad I bought this clamp product. I mounted it on one of my saw horses with a piece of 3/4 inch, threaded pipe. It will hold anything still while you work on it, from a piece of half inch pipe to a sheet of plywood. It's like having a third hand when I go to cut something with a power tool. It's also great for custom building work surfaces or stands on the spot to accomodate the situation. The genius here is that there is no limit to its' length; you can make it any length you want by changing the pipe. It can be mounted to anything, too, including work benches or even the tail gate of a truck. I'll have to get some more of these. Thanks Amazon !!

This product is a must have!If you are compulsive about keeping your home (or anything else) clean, this product is GREAT! It has three attachments to complete almost any job. One is a brush for the floor, a squeegee like tool for windows and tiles, and a small brush for jobs like the oven. I primarily bought it to clean my baseboards and hardwood floors. It literally blasts the dust and dirt away. You do have to follow with a clean cloth to finish up the job, but it makes it very easy by disolving the grime. I also cleaned my oven with it, and it powers away the grease and mess with ease. The steam is super hot, and I felt like I was really able to sanitize my floors with it, which is important to me with small children crawling around. Additionally, it can be used to clean out small spaces which are normally difficult to clean, like cupholders in the car, around taps in the bathrooms etc. I think this is a great product, and well worth the money!

Contractor Tool at a DYI Price This tool is great. I used it to install patio pavers around my fire pit. Just set it on the tri-pod push the on button. The tool self levels and in a few minutes you are working. It is very easy and at less than $1000 it does not make sence to rent it for $250 a day.
My neighbor is a cement contractor and says he has Spectra on all of his job sites. He has been using the LL600 for the BIG jobs. But uses the LL300 for the rest.
If you need a Laser level go with the best "SPECTRA PRECISION"!!!!

must have itemI can get a better finish with these than with a pole sander. I guess that's obvious. I like to use them with a light shining across the joints to get them really smooth. As with the pole sanders, I like to use floor sanding paper with these. It cuts faster , lasts longer and stays flatter than the precut sheets and sanding screens.
