This bench clamp's base is made from heavy zinc plated steel. The hefty weight of the base adds to the stability when it is used. The clamp is mounted to the base from the bottom by a large screw. The adjustable is well-made and exert ample pressure to the intersecting two pieces of wood. This clamp works best if mounted to a larger board (MDF would be perfect). The board should be routed with a recess so the base will sit flush with the board surface. Drill a hole at the center so you can have access to the mounting screws after the base is mounted. This Bench Klamp makes drilling pocket holes much easier.

This clamp works very well for the price. I've made a number of frames and the strap pulls the corners in nice and tight. The corner pieces are a bit small for larger frames so you will have to ensure that at least one corner of your frame is perfectly square. I recommend this clamp to anyone looking at building small to medium sized frames and rectangular shaped objects.

Milwaukee invented the sawzall, and in my opinion, they still produce a superior product. The blade changes quickly, and the tool itself seems much more durable than other brands. The drill is excellent. The battery can be inserted so as to allow the tool to stand up on its own, or the otherway to allow for tighter spaces.

Battery life is better than average, and this screw gun/hammer drill complements the Magnum Drill nicely.

I can't say enough for the electronics end of this laser level. I am a cabinet maker and finish carpenter and they are a joy to use. Not only do I use them to establish a level line on the wall for base cabinets, but I use the receiver to line up the front top edge of the base cabinets. Once I get the back edge level, I clamp the receiver to the front of the cabinets and lay down on my back to extend the adjustable legs I installed on my cabinets. I don't have to keep an eye on the level because I can listen to the audible beeps. Works great! I give it an A+ in overall use and quality. However, the included floor to ceiling pole is poor at best. It has graduated lines, no measuring tape and the worst part of it, it's round in shape. So once you get it all leveled, if you need to slide it up or down, it's impossible to keep leveled because it tends to twist as you move it up or down. That means more setup time. I recommend buying this in a package that doesn't include the pole and then buy the Laserjamb brand pole ...also sold on this website. It's square in shape, has a measuring tape on the side and has a very handy feature, some predrilled adjustable stops for repetitive setups. Also, you can drill your own stops and use the existing hardware.

I found these clamps to be extremely handy. It can hold objects of any material securely. You can't beat the price and durability.

With a copper plated screw and a malleable metal frame, this clamp ensures good performance and good looks. One great feature is the swivel tip, which provides for clamping at almost any angle. The heavy-duty material will take years of abuse

For the price, these clamps are just as easy to use and just as strong as the comparable fixtures from other manufacturers. I recommend them strongly for any bar clamp applications.

The Quick Grip Hold Down clamp is an excellent tool. I have mine mounted to my B&D WorkMate and have used extensivley since I bought it. The only problem I have with it is that it requires the flange to be screwed to the underside of the work surface thus not making it very portable. I would like to see the clamp be quickly moved from one hole to the next simply by pulling a release on the bottom of the clamp (instead of an awkward cotter pin) and using a large flange that slides over brackets that were previously attached to the underside of the work surface. That being said the hold down clamp securley clamps pieces and can swivel 360 degrees. Excellent buy. Extra flanges are also available I bought a pack of two (2) for ten dol lars Canadian.

I have about 15 quick grip clamps for woodworking that have stood to years of ABUSE, so when one was made for welding I had to try it. This clamp works great. The large grip/clamp handle is easy to use while wearing welding gloves and can be opened or closed with one hand by using the release bar. The total open width is 6 1/4 in. and closes completely with 15 pulls of the handle.The metal clamp faces grooved for better griping and are splatter resistant. Much better then a "C" clamp.
