This product was a waste of my money. It was very difficult to put on and very difficult to use. My husband tore it off the day after we got it. I would rather use duck tape then this product :) :)

I was really unhappy with this lock. It not only kept the one year old from opening the lid but kept everyone else in the house from opening it as well.

After waiting for weeks, the bottom line is that this is another tool that Amazon promotes, but cannot source. This has become a trend that I've seen with several tool-related orders with Amazon.

I bought this base and never installed it. The idea of clamping a power feeder to a machine table never seemed safe to me and also you are limited to a corner mount. Instead get an extra base from Delta, part number 1347994 will get another base for $34.47. Then you just unscrew the power feeder from one base and screw it to down on another base.

would give a zero for product failure I have a variable speed angle grinder makita very nice and even 1000 rpm ripped this to shreds in a matter of minutes

This unit is not recommended.
After countless hours trying to adjust the blade so that you can make a vertical cut I find that it can't be done on this model.Very dissatisfied with this and will now search for a real scroll saw

I bought this clamp and it turns out I need digital multimeter to operate it. I do not understand DMMs means before . After i received it and read the intruction then I understood. I wished that the ad could be more clearer. I have not returned it yet because it cost money to send it back.Any suggestion ? Mean a while I already bought another fluke amp meter that does not need another digital meter to operate it.

As a veteran woodworker/woodworking teacher I have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of equipment for personal/professional use. The Irwin Band Clamp is without a doubt the worst quality for a band clamp I have ever wasted my money on. I would have given it a zero star rating if it was a choice on the scale. The ratcheting mechanism is reversed from what is found on all other band clamps, which makes for very awkward clamping/releasing. The 'bite' of the teeth on one of my ratchets is horrible, constantly slipping once maximum clamping pressure is reached. I would not recommend the purchase of this item!!!! This item will end up in my box for the next yard sale.

I purchased several sets of these clamp pads about a year ago. Unfortunately, I've found that these pads leave oily round marks on the wood being clamped. The oily residue is soaked into the wood and very difficult to remove through sanding. After leaving something clamped overnight, the oily marks spread like an infection in a circle around the clamp pad. I've read in forums that this might be caused by a plastic release agent being squeezed out of the pad. Interestingly, I also have a few sets of Jorgensen pipe clamp pads which do not exhibit this problem.

The one star is not for the product but for how I got it. I ordered two packages of plugs which weighed only about five ounces and paid $8.00 for shipping (almost more than the price of the plugs). "WHY", you ask? Because the company who shipped it (not Amazon) put their TWO POUND ORDER CATALOG in the box!
