Spring Clamps Review BESSEY, THE BEST CLAMPS
Just bought two of the 98 inch k bodies on March 22, 2006, received on May 5, 2006 and was worried about them flexing, no problem at all. Anybody that ever clamped with any Bessey k body, knows how heavy duty they are and the great price from Toolcrib, plus a free 24 inch k body. The clamps are now shipping from Amazon warehouses, instead of Toolcrib's, so don't expect to have them in good shape the first time. When I first ordered them, I received two 82 inch k bodies instead, wrapped pretty good in four sheets of cardboard. Second time received two 98 inch k bodies well damaged, one in a 12 x 12 inch bubble wrap bag covering one end torn open, damage on the red end, missing the black plastic end piece and the other packaged what looks like a cereal box, crushed red end and also missing the black plastic end. The third time ordered, I was told I would be placed on the top of the order list, when the inventory for the Bessey 98 k bodies came in, not. Last ones received were ok, still had to use some parts from the other ones to make two good ones. By the way, the free 24 inch Bessey k body clamp was wrapped very well and was received on March 28, 2006 in excellent shape. When Amazon told me free shipping, they forgot to mention bad shipping.

Spring Clamps Review What a deal!
I finally decided to invest in some good clamps so I checked the price at Lowes and was dismayed at the price. Then I found this set and that I could get all four clamps for less than the price of just the two large ones so I ordered the set. I had never had any really good clamps and figured there really couldn't be much difference between the cheap bar clamps that I had been using and the Besseys. Boy, was I wrong!. I have gotten so that I don't want to use the old clamps and will wait overnight to glue up doors or drawers so that these clamps are available.

I don't know how they compare to the other premium parallel jaw clamps, but I do know that I am saving up so that I can buy some more of these.

Spring Clamps Review The Best Yet
The Bessey K-Body clamps are superior for multi-board and cabinet door glue-ups by keeping the pieces flat. Wish I could have purchased the K-Body clamps instead of all the pipe clamps I own.

Spring Clamps Review Trust me, it is well worth it!
I have owned this saw for over 3 years now. It is a shame that I had paid the full introductory price when it had come out, but I wouldn't trade this saw for anything. I also own the complete 24V cordless line by Bosch. I own a small contractor buisness doing everything from kitchens, baths, additions, full house construction, to concrete work and everything in between. Not only is this saw worth it's weight in gold, but the entire 24V Bosch is worth the same. I can not write a good enough review for this item. It is so handy to set up and cut a few pieces of trim with such accuracy as my 12" Bosch Sliding Compound miter saw. In fact, I have found myself using this saw for just about every job, since I already have the case with my other cordless tools. I have trimmed out $750k houses with this saw, just set it up in every room that needs trimwork, hook it up to my shop vac and away I go with accurate miters. The only thing that I had wished this saw had was the dual compound feature, but I am used to turning crown over and cutting it the other way. The saw holds an accurate fence and the positive miter detents are right on! Again, it takes only 5 min. to pull the saw out, set it down, and begin cutting with no cords to drag around. It is the nearest replacement to a quality cordes miter saw you can ever have. I am truely convinced to forever puchase the old blue and red over the yellow and black any day. Bravo Bosch!

Spring Clamps Review best buy yet
well ive had this saw for a month now. i couldnt be happier i install kitchens and bath cabinets everyday and use it everyday, the battery lasted longer than i thought it would before i had to recharge it. its so light my helper dosent complain anymore about dragging the saw around. between this and the bosch cordless jigsaw and the nail gun i hardly have to plug in anything anymore i read some of the reviews before i bought this last saw most were favorable some wernt but for what i do its great i guess if i did trim all day i would want 2 batteries but thats the only down side

Spring Clamps Review Great saw for the intended design
First let me say I am not a contractor I am a weekend warrior but I do like doing my own project work.
I bought this saw about 2 months ago because I had a project to build a double set of outside stairs. The nearest power was 1/4 mile away and I don't own a generator.
This saw is very good. I was suprised by it power. The stairs I built were completely made from green treated lumber. I was able to cut 2x12 stair treads with no problem. Yes I had to flip the wood over and yes the wood was still wet. I was amazed. I also bought the 24 volt circular saw. It too exceeded my expectation. I also own the Corded Dewalt 12 inch compound miter. This saw can't do everything the Dewalt can do but you can't expect it to. For what it is worth I have not found a job it can't do yet.
I would highly recommend this saw to any one.

Spring Clamps Review Great product, especially for narrow rip cuts on the table saw
I use the Grip-Tites for various operations with my table saw and band saw, but I mainly use them to rip narrow boards on my table saw. For those operations, I generally proceed as follows:

1. Position the fence.
2. Crank the blade down below the top of the table.
3. Place the material to be cut against the fence, covering the blade.
4. Place both Grip-Tites on the fence, with the roller guides resting on the stock, one Grip-Tite on each side of the blade.
5. Push down the handle of each Grip-Tite until the roller guide applies the appropriate amount of pressure to the stock.
6. Remove the stock.
7. Crank up the blade, checking to make sure it does not touch either Grip-Tite.
8. Rip the material.

The roller guides hold the stock securely against both the table and the fence. I therefore do not use the flexible plastic wings for this operation. I push the material though the blade with either another board that is to be ripped to the same width, or a scrap piece of wood that is no thicker (wider OK) than the stock being cut.

Some practice is required to position the Grip-Tites quickly and accurately. However, even when one becomes proficient at that, it still takes some time to position them. For that reason, I do not use them for rips that are wider than about 2". I have an overhead guard for safety, and, for wider rip cuts, have no trouble holding the stock securely against the fence with a push stick.

I initially bought two Grip-Tites, but not the steel fence cover or roller guides. The Grip-Tites alone were of limited utility when used on my (aluminum fence-equipped) table saw. Adding the steel fence cover and roller guides has made all the difference.

A tiny negative: there is a bit of plastic material rattling around inside each Grip-Tite. I understand this has to do with the way they are manufactured, and is nothing to be concerned about.

Spring Clamps Review Be safe buy them.
Bought the system around five or six years ago at a woodworking show. Next to your brain the best safety device in the shop. I would not rip a board without them. Be safe buy them.

Spring Clamps Review Great Addition To Table Saw
I have enjoyed it greatly and it works better then anticipated. It makes ripping boards for glueing with a glue edge quality blade a consistant process. I ended up buying an additional steel fence attachment for my router.

Spring Clamps Review Great shop addition at phenomenal price!
Bessey clamps are first class all the way, and there's a lot packed into this package. With amazon.com inventory reduction the deal was so good I ordered a second set after I got the first. As the saying goes, "You can never have too many clamps." I hadn't ever seen Bessey pipe clamps on the shelf (only Pony and cheap Chinese knock-offs), and these don't disappoint: well-finished and easy-operating. Bottom line is to price these clamps out separately and see what a great deal you're getting.

Spring Clamps Review Great boyfriend gift
I was at a loss for gift ideas for my boyfriend. He is very into woodworking and has made some impressive pieces of furniture. It seems like he is always looking for/needing clamps. After doing a bit of research, this brand kept coming up as a good one. I liked that this set had a mix of different sizes and styles of clamps since I wasn't sure exactly what he would like. He has already used most of them!

Spring Clamps Review Great idea for Christmas
Without a doubt, one of the best holiday gifts to give someone you care for!!!! This kit from Bessey contains the most popular sellers and makes a great starter set or additions to an existing collection!! The price is fantastic, the product is world class!!

Spring Clamps Review Swiveling Work Light for ample light everywhere
This light is a must for the woodworker. It can be attached on any metal surface with the magnetic base and brings adequate light to where you need it most. In addition to the magnetic base, the swiveling capability of the lamp allows you to direct the light to the best advantage where the accuracy of a cut is most critical.

I am not an auto mechanic, but I would think that this would be a must tool for working on engines also.

Spring Clamps Review A work light done right
I also am very impressed with the quality of this light. The five pivots move smoothly but hold well, both the magnet and clamp are very strong, and the long cord is heavy duty. I also like that the housing is two halves screwed together, so if the switch wears out or if the cord has problems I'll be able to keep it working. It's "just a work light" but as far as I can tell they've done everything right.

Spring Clamps Review Custer Swiveling Lite is a bargain
I purchased this lite for my bandsaw. I was very impressed with the quality; the magnetic base is very powerful, the cord is heavy gauge, the swivel is well constructed. When I ordered it I didn't realize it came with the optional trouble lite metal cover. I priced commercial lites for more than twice the cost prior to buying this one.

Spring Clamps Review Works great as long as you don't open the jaws up too much
The clamping action gets weaker after about 1.5" of opening.
Otherwise, it's inexpensive and works great.

Spring Clamps Review 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th...... Hands
I've had a box of these for quite a while and I'm always finding new uses for them. They are real handy to hold stop blocks on your radial arm saw fence, drill press fence and table saw miter gauge fence. I hold projects together during "dry assembly" and while tracing parts for reproduction. You can clip a note or plan on anything the jaw will stradle. Did I mention gluing? They're just a little too tight to use for a nose clamp when you're working around Ralph after he had those beans for lunch, but you should use a respirator, anyway.

Spring Clamps Review Extra hand for a little price!
Great Product for little cost! A must in any workshop! Very stong clamp power. If you need extra hands for any project, here is your solution! Get at least 2....

Spring Clamps Review Great Saw - Just Grab And Go
I bought this saw about nine months ago just for kicks since I already had the 24 volt drill, circular saw, and recip saw. I was more than impressed when I got it. It's lightweight and easy to carry, powerful, accurate, and has a good runtime (I quit counting at 75 2x4's ). I use mine for trimming and it is ideal for this. The saw overall is a good value with 2 batteries and a one hour charger. It won't replace a corded miter saw, but it comes pretty close.

Spring Clamps Review Cordless Compound Miter Saw
I consider myself to be an advanced do it your selfer to let you know where I'm coming from. I've always wanted a compound miter saw, and have been putting it off for one reason or another. Recently I purchased a Bosch 24 volt drill/circular saw combo kit, and noticed this miter saw kit. One of the things I liked was that the batteries were interchangeable. It comes with two, plus the two from my kit, this would enable me to have an infinite supply of power. I checked the fence, and table for square, and they were good to go right out of the box, I was in shock. By looking at the manual, if you had to make an adjustment it didn't look that difficult. If anyone has ever set up a table saw, or radial arm saw you can appreciate this. I charged the batteries and immediately put it to work cutting 2" X 6" rafters for a 12' X 18' shed that I'm working on. Please note that you can't cut more than a 15 degree miter on a 2" X 6". I have to tell you that this saw has power. The fact that it is cordless is a non event. Actually it is an event, I was re-trimming out our bedroom. Since I was cordless I didn't interrupt my homes electrical system, and I didn't have to hear my wife complain about me messing up the TV. The trigger, and safety are comfortable to use. The dust collection system works good enough. The settings are accurate, and easy to read. The safety shield doesn't obstruct your view, and works smooth. The motor brake will stop on a dime, and give you nine cents change. I really like this saw, I feel it will meet or exceed all of your expectations.

Spring Clamps Review Jorgensen 2-in-1 Clamps
I think these are the best "one-hand" clamps going because they have the most springiness. All the others are too stiff and do not allow you to easily adjust the clamping pressure. I have purchased many different types and this is the one I will continue to buy.

Spring Clamps Review Jorgensen 36" Bar Clamp \ Spreader
I personally love this item. For the price compared to the quick grip. You can't go wrong. I have purchased five of these clamps already and I'am looking to buy more. They are simple to use. The conversion to a sreader is a snap to do. The handle is a perfect fit for large or small hands. This one clamp nobody should be without.
