I have yet to find another tool by any manufacturer that impresses me as much as Bosch tools, they have the best tools in the industry. I'm impressed everytime I use these tools. Highly recommended!

This Bosch demo hammer is one of my most often used power tools. I am a landscape contractor in Northern California, often bidding work that I can't see, (underground sprinklers or drainage systems for instance) and encountering many unexpected obstacles.

This Bosch hammer has been a lifesaver when it comes to cutting through layers of concrete and rocks, chipping out concrete "overpour" and removing things like old fence post bases.

With the clay spade bit, it also comes in very handy when digging up compacted soil (typical of a lot of new home sites.) The adjustable handle works well in close quarters, allowing for approach and attack from different angles. The SDS-MAX bits are a breeze to change, and allow for switching some bits with other tools (my Bosch rotary hammer for instance.)

All told, this demo hammer is versatile, reliable, and indispensible for finishing out trenches, foundation work, and demolition of concrete and asphalt. Contractor friends of mine have had theirs (including this model's predecessors) for years. It's a tool that retains it's value in the long run, for which there is no substitute.

Used this tool to remove tile over concrete, a 3 inch thick mortar bed and tons of tiled cement on the walls (again 3 inches thick with metal mesh.) A 2 week miserable job by hand takes 2 hours with this tool. It is tough, powerful, and easy to use. The variable speed trigger is great for exerting the mid range thumping to remove large chunks of mortar. Came with two included chisel bits. A great value and very underated tool, I am thrilled with it. I chose this over the combo hammer/rotation drills because I wanted more power and emphasis on the vibrational demolition function since I already had a rotational hammer drill. Based on reading other reviews and carefully reading impact specs I am unsure if those combo units can do the job as well as this focused single purpose demolition hammer.

I really like this drill. Granted, I am not a home-improvement pro, and therefore, my review is not as in-depth as others, but this is a very powerful cordless drill, and one can see the quality and craftsmanship that went into it.

I bought this drill from Amazon in 2004. It was after hurricanes Frances and Jean slammed South Florida. I had a 1/2" DeWalt hammer drill, but I gave it to my son so he could install shutters on his house.

Anyhow, I have found this drill to be exceptional. I recently switched from plywood shutters to aluminum panels for hurricane protection. I used the Bosch drill for all the Tapcon holes. Zero problems. The depth gauge works flawlessly, and the drill has more than ample power. It has nice balance and the removable chuck key is really heavy duty. The case is sturdy and the drill and all accessories fit nicely into it.

Having used both DeWalt and Bosch hammer drills, I have no doubt Bosch is the way to go.

Since I recieved this Combo kit on the 23rd of September, I haven't stopped using these outstanding tools. I am still in shock that this tool set can be touched for even near this price. I'll never go back to corded tools again and my friends that spent more on Dewalt are green with envy.

Bit worked great. Drilled 20 inches in granite in about 20 minutes with little pressure or stopping. Produces very fine dust and self cleans down to about 12 inch depth. (Then you need to pull out the drill periodically.

I knew Bosch made quality tools and router bits so I thought I'd try the Blue Granite set. I've only used the 2 largest bits in the set, but they performed great...never slowed down through concrete and rock.

I use this accessory with drill bits for wood/metal and those arrow shaped tile bits in rotation only mode.

You can hammerdrill with this 3 jaw chuck, for example the bits that come with the blue Tapcon screws, but I prefer sds bits with the 5/16" hex shank for drive sleeves, it is faster to use and a much stronger grip on the drill bit.

My 3 jaw sds chuck did not come with a manual but I figured out that if you pull the collar down and to the left you can quickly and quietly adust the jaws, I dont know what that is about but Bosch has put it so there must be a reason.

I turn my Bosch Bulldog into a drill when I play the uncharged cordless battery game. Sometimes its even handy to use alongside the cordless drill driver.

I had to get used to the rubber boot over the jaws, but really you just push the drill bit through the rubber boot and tighten with the chuck key (all 3 holes for a good grip)

I just learned that SDS means slotted drive system.

This cord has all the ideal features; good length (50 feet), triple receptacle on the end, and lighted end. And it's 10 gauge cable which makes it very heavy duty.
