this tool is very effective and runs forever without getting hot or over worked.it's far more effective than my hilti TE 76.

I have been in the plumbing industry for 12 years and have been using a Dewalt 565K rotary hammer for the installation of gaslines for about 3 years. I have used just about every other rotary hammer on the market and in my opinion the 565K is by far the most reliable and BEST there is. I especially like the lightweight body and the dust cover where the bit slides in. More importantly I love the performance of the 565K (it's quick). As anyone in new construction will tell you time is of the essence. Definately a five star product. Thank you Dewalt for making my job much easier. John Sink, Kimmey Plumbing

I drill over 50 holes a day and this is the only bit I have found that will last more then 3 weeks.

The Queen of Rock Hammers - slightly lighter than the 22 oz model. Perfect for women, children or hikers. Again, file the corners on the head to prevent splinters and burrs.

My dad always told me some tools are a matter of preference. Well, for me, I wouldn't own another hammer. I love my estwing! that's all there is to it. tough, rugged, and unbreakable under normal use. I've used mine for so many things. I mean it's practacally been my favorate tool and it's stood a big part in remodeling our home. the nice thing is, I'm left handed and makes driving a nail for me soo much easier than any other hammer I've used. My dad always tells me, there is a proper tool for every job, and proper hammer for me is an estwing.

I have owned this hammer for a few months now, being a commercial Tile setter, I bought this smacker for mainly chipping cement floors, and breaking granite tile. Although not intended for this work, the hammer has worked great.
I have never cared for rubber grip handles( they tear up dry hands) But being a smooth rubber grip, I have had no problems.
Estwing Anti-vibe design is outstanding, I can crack away on granite (Like a sledge) with no vibration or fatigue.

I love this hammer if I could give it 10 stars I would. I install windows for a living and use a hammer a lot. I was getting sick of my stanley fiberglass standard 16oz curved claw hammer, i call it pinger. The stanley pings really loudly and it is very anoying. Anyway the Estwing hits a lot harder and has better comfort. Even though the Stanley has a "form fitting handle" that gives me a blisted after ten minutes. Estwing is the way to go. I may suggest that you get the 22oz because it is the same size, cheaper and unless you frame for a living you wont need the little extra power the 28 oz has,. Also the 28oz hurts your forarm a l;ittle quicker than the 22oz.

I'm not so sure about the recondintioned combo kit, but the new version is superior to other cordless kits I've owned in the past. I've used many different cordless kits and Ridgid has to be the best.

� Very powerful Hammer Drill runs for hours and hours with a single battery's life.
� Circular saw is strong enough to rip boards and not choke.
� Recipricating Saw (Sawzall) is also really powerful for a cordless tool - will run down battery life much quicker than the other tools.
� Even the goofy little flashlight does it's job and has a few convenient features so you can position right where you need it.
� Finish charging 2 batteries at an impressive 30 minutes - well surpassing the charge time of DeWalt, Milwaulkee, Craftsman - you name it.

The saws in this combo definitely eat up a lot of juice at once, but as long as you have a place to charge your batteries, you shouldn't have to sit around waiting for things to charge at you jobsite.

I was more than pleased when the unit arrived. I thought I hasd purchased a new unit. I immediately put it to work boring 10" deep x 3/4" holes in mature conceret and it perfromed flawlessly.

Product looked brand new and works flawlessly.
