Hammers Review LOYAL BUT DISSAPOINTED
I bought my first set 10 years ago and absolutly loved them. Three years ago I bought the exact same bags, but now the belt is a three piece belt instead of a one piece. I was also dissapointed that they cost a little more, but the craftmanship was not as good as the first pair. I still believe that they are the best set of bags on the market.

Hammers Review great belt
I have owned the original occidental leather belt for 15 years and decided to retire it in favor of occedental's beltless system. I was saddly dissapointed. I ordered the oxy lights awhile ago and found love again!! It's laid out just like my old set, but a noticeably lighter, especially in damp conditions. I prefer the firmness of a leather belt over codura when it comes to hanging other tools from the belt. One last note, spring for the extra $ and get the sheep skin lined belt, you will not be dissapointed.

Hammers Review Oxy Lights are BOMBER!
After seven years of thrashing these bags, they are still holding up great! These bags are the most durable, user friendly set you can find.Don't let the nylon construction worry you! These bags are riveted and the corners are reinforced with leather. They've been cooked in the heat of the desert and soaked and frozen solid where I work in the Sierras, but they still are soft and undamaged.Get a load off your back with a set of Oxylights Pro Framers!

Hammers Review Love this product!
Here's the deal. You geta fantastic piece of tool for your money. What is more, you dont end up wearing an icepack on your hands/wrist if you use this baby. The special shock-proofing is fairly effective: and for someone who's used wooden grip/iron grip all my life, I find this extremely useful tool!

Hammers Review world's best hammer
Forget all those fancy hickory handles and black things. Everybody on the job site used to make fun of my "club" but not after they try it. You'll be shocked how easy you can go from framing to finish work (without hammer marks) and be comfortable with this hammer.

Hammers Review GREAT WORKING HAMMER
THE SPENCER PT-2 HAMMER IS A GREAT ADDITION TO ANYONES TOOLBOX, BUT ESPECIALLY TO THE WORKING CARPENTER OR FRAMER. I'VE HAD ONE FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS, AND IT'S THE BEST HAMMER I'VE HAD, AND I'VE HAD MANY BEING IN THE REMODELING BUSINESS. THE COMPOSITE SHAFT IS LIGHT YET VERY STRONG. THE AXE STYLE HANDLE, WHICH IS COATED WITH A RUBBER TYPE MATERIAL, IS EASY ON YOUR HAND, AND ALLOWS YOU TO GET A FIRM GRIP,AND DELIVER A SOLID BLOW TO ANY NAIL. THE HAMMER IS WELL BALANCED,AND BECAUSE OF THE AXE STYLE HANDLE,YOUR HAND IS AT A MORE NATURAL POSITION, WHEN WORKING WITH THE TOOL. THE SHAPE OF THE HANDLE FORCES YOU TO GRIP THE HAMMER IN THE PROPER LOCATION EVERY TIME,AND ALLOWS THE HAMMER TO DO THE WORK IT WAS INTENDED TO DO, WITH THE LEAST AMOUNT OF FATIGUE TO THE USER. REALLY A GREAT DESIGN, AND AN EXCELLENT TOOL.

Hammers Review john's dewalt 532 rotary hammer review
I was comparing various rotary hammers and I feel this one has some very strong points, but it could use a few more assessories and a little more power to use them such as digging clay, dirt or other earth work as compared to a comparable Makita model, with other models falling short in comparison. Other then that, even with Dewalt costing a little more, I have found a favorite spot in my toolcrib for any Dewalt product I have put to hard use and the 532 has a good chance to find its way to my buy list.

Hammers Review THE REAL WORKERS
I HAVE OWNED AND STILL OWN A DW530K FOR 5 YEARS AND PUT IT THROUGH HELL. SON OF A GUN STILL GOING STRONG! SO, WE ADDED ANOTHER TO OUR CREW AND WE BOUGHT THE DW532K SAME GREAT SERVICE WE'VE HAD IT FOR TWO YEARS. NO PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER. BEFORE THE DEWALTS WE HAVE STILL(ON A SHELF)TWO BOSCH ROTO-HAMMERS AND TWO BOSCH 90# J-HAMMERS. EVERY YEAR GETTING THEM REBUILT.FOR 6 YEARS. FINALLY DUH, I DON'T KNOW WHAT TOOK US SO LONG, BUT BROKE OUT OF THE REDO-HABIT AND BOUGHT NEW. WE ARE GRACED,AND WILL CONTINUE TO BUY DEWALT HAMMERS, IF WE EVER GET FINISHED WITH THESE. I DOUBT IT! Hammers Review Good Unit
This is a very good cordless drill with plenty of torque. It
is however a bit on the hefty side and does not have an attachment location for keeping a screwdriver bit. This can be inconvenient for some applications. Overall a well made and reliable tool. It has come in handy for many jobs already, and I have only had it for a few months.

Hammers Review Top of the Line
Being a Milwaukee you know it will be the best of quality. I replaced a Dewalt cordless hammer drill with this one. I bought it in conjunction with the 4 tool combo pack. Now I have to drills. This drill is identical to the 0522 with the hammer drill extra. It has excellent balance and conforms well to your hand. The hammering action is the best I have seen in a cordless. The torque the plentiful and more than enough for any job. I am not going to try and sell you on this item. The name Milwaukee should be enough. I will say this it is the best of the best and can't be beat, period.

Hammers Review Brutally Effective!
From the time I held this tool in my hand, I realised that it was well balanced, and felt much lighter than the stated weight of 10 pounds. The three (3)modes of operation, namely: 1.rotation only, 2.rotation with hammer and 3.hammer only, make this a very versatile tool, combining a rotary hammer with a light duty demolition hammer. I was impressed by the extensive use of metal in the construction of the body of this drill: it screams "heavy duty".

The hammering mechanism is brutally effective in drilling through concrete, delivering powerful blows that literalily destroys the concrete.

On the downside however, there are three (3) minor problems that I have encountered:

1. The trigger speed control is a bit tricky, i.e. there is considerable trigger travel before rotation starts, but from start to full speed there is little travel making control a bit difficult.

2. There is noticeable wobbling of the drill bit even when the 3-jaw chuck is employed, this tends to expand hole size.

3.The jaw chuck cannot be or is not recomended for use in hammering mode. This eliminates the use of straight shank hammer bits that the Bosch chuck allows.

However, I would recomend this tool based on its overall performance.

Hammers Review Good Hammer for the Non Concrete Pro
The previous reviewer is right ! This hammer is much more comfortable than others I have used and it does a good job as long as you do not go past the manufacturer's recommended hole size. To my knowledge it is the most powerful hammer that can do rotary only drilling. Since I may use it for everything from drilling a 1/4" hole in concrete, through making a 2 1/2" hole in wood to driving 10' ground rods in one day, it is perfect for my needs. I've used it with the optional SDS-Max chuck and a 1 1/8" Carbide bit through concrete and brick and it did a good job. Not as fast as some of the bigger hammers but my arms and wrist didn't hurt from hefting a big tool either! I have not noticed any bit wobble in any of the chucks (SDS +, SDS-Max or 3 Jaw) in using it for three months. By the way, I really like the quick change chuck system. It is really quick and easy. No trouble with a sloppy trigger either but the tool is fairly new. After prolonged use, almost 10 minutes continuously driving ground rods, I noticed the tool did get warm, but not hot. My point is this: I think this is a great tool for those, like me, that need a versatile rotary hammer but will not put it into all day, everyday use. If you are the local concrete drilling pro, you'll want a bigger, heavier(spelled alot more money) unit.

Hammers Review comes out swingin'
This hammer has a nice balance and feel for driving smaller finish/box nails; a little light for nails larger than 8d. Used to think that a claw hammer is a claw hammer, but this one takes a little getting used to swinging; but then is a pleasure to use and always seems to go where you aim it.

Hammers Review best finish hammer
I've been swinging a hammer for over 40 years, and this is the best finish hammer I've used. Buying one for my daughter so I can have mine back.

Hammers Review Well balanced claw hammer
I liked this hammer alot. I think that is well balanced and very durable. I have had it for a few years now and have not needed to replace it or wanted to replace it. It is very good for all aplications. It is a nice hammer to have in your toolbox for all of the general hammering needs.

Hammers Review Yup, this is a hammer alright.
This is the hammer I own. If it would have been left to me, I probably would have just bought a $6.97 hammer with a plain old wooden handle from Wal-Mart. Instead, my dad bought me this fancypants hammer for a present. Well, as the other reviewer suggested, you can hammer stuff with it. And it works well for all "general hammering needs." Like.....such diverse "hammering needs" as 'hammering big nails,' and 'hammering small nails.' It works just fine for that.

The rubber handle means it won't slip out of your hands as easily as wood.

Also, it's yellow, so if you throw it at an animal that's running through tall grass, it's way easier to find than if it were just brown.

I've hammered lots of nails with this hammer, and it just keeps hammering.

Hammers Review GOOD QUALITY LIGHT DUTY
I've had this hammer for a few years now and I like it quite a bit.Knowing this is a light duty finish tool,I've put it through some serious pounding and pulling.my torture test didn't loosen the head or break the handle. It passed with flying colors. The black finish has worn off over the years but thats no big deal after all it is a hammer.the price is very good. Well worth the money. In my opinion this hammer is tool box worthy. Now get out and pound something.

Hammers Review A tool to be reckoned with!
.... I think that this particular hammer is the best of its kind. The head is made of stainless steel and the wooden handle is durable and easy to hold. ....

Hammers Review So I own a few hammers
(...). Thing is, while I use hammers frequently, I don't do it for a job 40+ hours a week.

Which brings us to this hammer... is it my favorite hammer... no, do I grab it first, no, does it even get the honored spot of being in my tool belt most of the time? Again, no. That said, will it drive nails and nail sets and pound on my wrecking bars without putting nice waffle prints everywhere? Most definately. Is there something to the anti-vibe magic? I think so. I don't think it's as good at dampening the vibration as a nice hickory handle, but it's better than most hammers with steel or fiberglass handles. And will it hold up better? Especially if you aren't the most experienced at hitting what you are aiming at? Most definitely.

Conlusion if you need a hammer that doesn't make waffles this should be one of your candidates.

Hammers Review A must have!
excellent hammer and very comfortable to handle. the best
hammer I own so far. A must for every toolbox!

Hammers Review just another tool geek
Excellent tool, really more of a mallet than a hammer. The dead-blow characteristic provides great control.

Stanley does make dead-blow ball pein hammers but they're very hard to find.

And yes, we can get them here in California. (you don't even have to order avocado with it, dude ;-)

Hammers Review Best Assembly Hammer for Woodworking and etc.
I've had one of these for several years and they are indispensable when assembling tight joints. I use a pounding block in most cases, but if your not pounding too hard and it is hardwood, you won't leave any marks. I have used it on metal projects too, but I always use a wood block to protect the plastic hammer.

There is loose shot in oil in the head which hits the hammer just after the hammer hits the work, offsetting the reaction. The dead blow action keeps the hammer from bouncing, which makes it alot easier on your wrist. You get more movement from a lighter blow with this hammer, as the hammer tends to follow the workpiece's direction of travel. A great tool, but I hear you can't buy one in California. (Hammer Control?)
