Hammers Review It's cheap, but you get what you pay for.
Heck, it's not a serious tool set, but it is a good all-in-one need-something-for-the-apartment set. The downfall of all the tool-sets is that if you break a tool or lose a tool, you can't find a replacement to fit in the exact blow-molded spot.
HINT: buy the tool set and then go to your local hardware store and pick up a cheap toolbox to store the tools in. This way, you will be able to augment, change, replace your tools over time without behind stuck with the cheasy case.

Hammers Review Great Set!!!
It had everything I needed. I reccommend it.

Hammers Review Death Stick - D160 DOTIC
On 18 May I bought a 14oz. titainum death stick. It has been less than a month and the waffles on the head are worn out. There is a big nick in the claw between the forks. It should be at least 18oz. The handle feels good. I will be taking this hammer back for a refund.

Hammers Review Awesome Hammer
I used this hammer on allumininum Gutter Installation. The hammer really felt lighter, and swung like a 28oz. hammer rather, than my 20oz Estwing that swing like a 20oz hammer. I recomend this hammer to anyone that "swings it" everyday.

Hammers Review A serious review
As a professional in the building trade I highly recommend this hammer. The light weight is great when your pounding nails all day, 5-7 days per week. Its worth every penny !!! I have the curved handle version (it cuts down on forearm strain}.

Hammers Review Rip off free bike
...This offer includes a "free" bike, but the bike isn't really free, it comes at the additional cost of [$$$]. While this may be a good deal, it's hard to know without specific info regarding the bike. In any event, I feel it's a lie to say the bike is "free" when it in fact costs extra $$$.

Hammers Review You can't kill them
You can't kill these tools. I am a general contractor and have used them on many, many jobs. The 18 volt drill/ driver alone has outlasted four of my 18 volt DeWalts. The reciprocating saw is smooth and doesn't get bogged down. I use the set in my workshop at home as well as, on the job sight. It's nice to be cord free with so many different tools. The bike is a nice bonus. Of course, as soon as I got mine (for free I might add), I sold it to a kid down the street. This is the best tool combo deal I have ever seen.

Hammers Review Great Deal!
I'm not sure what the other reviewer was talking about but I found this to be a great deal. The combo kit is at the same if not lower price than it was before the bike was being offered, so to say that you have to pay extra makes no sense at all. The tools offered in this kit are the best! The hammer driver/drill is of course great quality, the jig saw seems to be the sister to their top of the line corded model, the circular saw and recip saw work great and the blower and flashlight are fantastic accessories that you will find yourself using constantly.

Hammers Review Rugged Industrial Quality
This heat gun is ultra fast-to-heat-up and stays put at your set temperature because of its high-tech thermo-reactive properties. It has an ultra-accurate, cool-looking, bright green temperature LCD display on a black background, which makes it visible in the dark. It is located in the ergonomically correct location (on top). Three different air-flow settings allow for ultimate control and air pressure/heat ratio exertion.

The intuitively-designed shape includes separate temperature control (by 10 degree increments) and fan speed control buttons. Unlike most variable guns, the integrated stand allows for a fully erect stance--when needed--with optimally located trigger controls located side-by-side on the handle.

The double-insulated, ceramic-encapsulated heating element is safe and efficient. If you vaporize herbal substances such as tobacco using a heat gun, you want a ceramic core so that it doesn't give off toxins. Moreover, this product has a stunning five-year warranty, partially because ceramic heating elements last longer.

I highly recommend this item to everybody ranging from heat gun novices to legendary heat gun users. It has great controls, a sturdy feel, and a long warranty to back its obvious integrity. Enjoy the control of a professional product with luxury features. A lot of thought went into the multi-faceted, ergonomic design and I am a proud owner.

Hammers Review A Very good product
This heat gun is all a heat gun should be. Its reliable, provides even controlable heat for many applications. The gun provides three different air flow settings along with an infinitly variable temperature selector. The digital readout is a very nice plus which first indicates the set target temperature and then shows the increments until it hits the target. This kind of control opens up the amount of uses to more temperature sensitive applications. If you must have the best this is it; though i wish it had a case! As mentioned below it took a few weeks to ship because this product is not normally stocked. The previous reviewer should of figured this out...

Hammers Review Nothing but problems with this tool.
I returned mine after a few weeks use. The main problem was that the batteries often "stuck" and couldn't be removed. Also, the drill is very heavy, which I guess could be expected from an 18 volt tool. I also own one of the recently discontinued DeWalt 14.4 volt drills, which I prefer to the Milwaukee.

Hammers Review A very heavy and awkward drill
I really liked this drill, until I used the a DeWalt. I am a union carpenter from Toledo.I use the drill in many diffrent tasks from door hardware to drilling for Tapcons.Itis a rugged tool, but it is not balanced at all.It is also very long and heavy. The hammer mode is very very slow.I have used the DeWalt 14.4 also and think that it is a better design. The only decent tool from Milaukee is the 1/2" magnum corded drill in my opinion.

Hammers Review Fair and Balance
This is a real workhorse made in Germany. I have used one daily for over 5 years in a Woodworking/cabinet shop. Our Dewalts, after heavy use suffered from from front end bearing/chuck slop. This drill has an optional flashlight, (that attaches forward of the trigger) which is great for under cabinet work. If you don't like the weight of an 18 volt drill this one is a real winner. Example: I have cut 4 1/2 " holesaw holes in 3/4 inch ply, 1 1/4 " holes in solid ash and maple and drove countless screws up to 4 "

Hammers Review Builder
This Milwaukee 4.5" gringer is the tool for me. I just trashed a couple of nonames gringers.

Hammers Review You can't beat Milwaukee quality
Milwaukee Electric tools are the best power tools available. This grinder is awesome, very comfortable to use and it has plenty of power. This is a great deal since it includes the metal case. Don't waste any time looking at the other brands, this is the cream of the crop.

Hammers Review Tough and versatile
Milwaukee's tools have a great reputation for toughness and longevity. This grinder is all that and more. Its steel case is a big help in keeping the garage neat and the flexibility in choosing handle positions as well as the lock-on switch are more useful than you would initially think, allowing you to work in many more positions.

In addition to making short work of nearly anything metal, just strap on a sanding disc and have at any wood surface you please, making this a really useful tool to have.

This tool would make Tim Allen go "Oook ook ook".

Hammers Review Product already used when it arrived
DO NOT buy this product from this company. I received this product this evening, opened it up out of the UPS box and immediately saw that the Milwaukee box had been opened up quite a few times. I took the Impact Wrench out of the box and it had scratches and dust all over it. This had clearly been used and I couldn't believe it. BTW, this tool does not come with a charger or battery, that cost extra.

Hammers Review You gotta be kiddin me!!!!!!!
This Milwaukee 18 volt impact wrench is unreal!!!!!!

I have owned it for three months now and I have yet to find
its limmit. Tire lugg nuts are a joke evan on a 18 wheeler!
I have driven 3/4 inch by 10 inch long lag bolts with no pilot
holes, straight thru 4x6 beams into stucco and thru the wall studs no problem!!! Yes I said with no pilot holes.
And just for fun I drove a one inch by 12 inch long lag bolt into
the end of a pressure treated 4x6, with ease.

I removed a rusted 7/8 inch nut that was imposssible to do by hand. The tool is big and heavy no doubt about it but not too
big or too heavy. It does have excellent ballance and is extremley rugged. This much power in a tool does have its down
side, after removeing 4 tires and replacing them the battery is
showing signs of fatigue and after 4 of the 3/4 inch by 10 inch
lag bolts the battery is dead. (those are huge bolts)

If you do this kind of thing often your better off with a corded
impact gun. But I have found the cordless to be very handy.
If the tool stands the test of time its a huge winner!!!!!!

Hammers Review weightless system
I bought this tool belt in preparation of retiring from the military and going into business for myself as a carpenter/handyman. the ride was nice and the capacity was great. The problems I encountered included putting it on as the bag pads tend to flip, the grommets on the belt came out, the small bags always dump in the big bag and need riveted to the other bag. Now after 6 weeks of use the stitching is starting to come undone. the system is good but needs the rivets added to the outside pouches and make it easier to put on. More rivets at points that catch a lot of stress would help.

Hammers Review Lighten the load
Good product. And it's nice to take the load off my waist and lower back and shift it to the shoulders, where it feels like it's not there due to the large and well padded shoulder straps. Switching from heavy winter clothes to summer gear? No problem, just cinch up the belt a little instead of lots of tedious adjustments.

A couple of drawbacks: the suspender loops on the belt can slide around some- use the elastics from your coil nails to make a stop for those. And the tool pockets are awfully big, which tempts you to put in everything you own.

Hammers Review Baby, Where have you been all my life?
Being in the trades, I have a rather extensive of what now has become, a collection, of tool belts and pouches. All of which end up, not being big enough, being too big, and/or get in the way. Add to that suspenders, plus maybe a padded belt, all in the hopes to help disperse the weight and what kind of restricting torture devise have we created for ourselves? Well all that changed with the Nailers Suspended Tool Belt. Finally somebody was thinking when they designed this one! The pouches ride where YOU want them. They don't always have to be in the front. Pouches are big enough without overkill.Cell phone holder is a big plus. With the suspension system, and pouches "loaded", it does feel almost truly weightless. Well balanced with good freedom of movement. Plenty of adjustment everywhere on it for those days outside when "an extra layer" is needed. This thing is so comfortable I almost want to sleep in it!

Hammers Review My favorite tool - until it started falling apart...
I previously owned 15.6 and 9.6 volt Panasonic tools and had very high opinions of them. I currently own an entire Bosch cordless outfit, but when I decided to buy an impact, I decided on the Panasonic because of the high amp NIMH batteries. I've had it for about 1 1/2 weeks been using it for a basement remodel, and after two days of use, the gray rubber molding started to peel off. Then, yesterday, I dropped it from my hip and it fell about 2' to the concrete floor and broke both tabs off of the battery that hold it to the drill. Then, I noticed that the other battery, which hadn't been dropped, had one of it's tabs broken off of it.

This thing is falling apart! So I call Panasonic, and they tell me all I can do is drop it off at a factory service location. This process would, of course, take about 3-4 weeks, parts depending. If this was a Bosch or a Dewalt - I'd have had a new one next day air. As it is - I'm returning it immediately, and will never again talk up Panasonic power tools to everyone who asks. Never buy another ever.

Hammers Review unbelievable power and control
I've had this tool for about a year now and I can say it is one of the best purchases I've ever made. I've removed damaged screws with it when nothing else worked, and been able to drive screws and lags with relative ease in situations where it would have been impossible to with a regular drill due to lack of leverage. And as with all Panasonic tools, the battery seems to last forever.

Hammers Review Panasonic did their homework on this Awesome impact
I work for a Bus repair facility for the Los Angeles Unified School district. For the last 15 years I have dealt with alot of fasteners on a variety of school vehicles; thousands of them. I have used Air Hex impacts for years just because of the serious impact power they have; but for the last several years have thought about the day when I would/could replace my air screwguns with something,'Cordless'? I have used Panasonic Cordless Drills for years; so I just patiently waited until they came out with this newest model with shiftable max impact range slider. Low range for smaller screws so you dont snap the heads off of them and the Hard core range for up to about 80 ft pounds of impact for bolts and nuts. The day I got this cordless impact; was the day I started using it on buses and I have used it five days a week ever since. I am not easily impressed but I dont even leave this tool at work! When I go home; it goes with me; because I use it at home too. I cant remember goin around saying I 'love' this tool or that tool. But I gotta tell you; I love this tool! And the battery power per charge is longggggggggggggg! I am not one to let others use my tools as a general rule; but I have let the other mechanics Use my Panasonic Impact; just to impress the heck out of them; lolol. Its' power to size/weight ratio is astounding in my opinion! Great ergonomic grip and excellent balance. Build quality fit and finish is very good. Has no 'cheap' quality about it. Solid performance so far and I dont see any change in that any time soon. I am pretty finicky and writing this review I actually feel a little odd that I dont have anything I can whine about; but I dont.

Hammers Review Don't waste your money...
Porter Cable's 19.2 Volt line has major flaws. I bought the driver and saw kit and the hammer drill kit. In the first year I replaced the drill/drivers three times...while under warranty. The saw worked well and the flashlight was the best part of this kit. Now it is a couple years old and the batteries are dead and at $90 each I am not replacing them. I bought Hitachi this time with a five year warranty. I wasted $600 on the Porter Cable junk.

Hammers Review Dynamic Duo
I've bought so called cordless tools in the past, but this combo pack is the first true cordless "tool" set I've owned. Because of the demanding nature of the renovation jobs I am currently doing to my home, I depend on and use this pair constantly. The hammer/drill/driver is the most versatile tool. It meets all my 1/2 inch or less hole drilling, screw and small hex bolt driving, and light hammer drilling needs. Never lets me down. It delivers the power and mobility for use everywhere, like in tight attics, crawl spaces, on roofs, and outdoors away from power outlets. The Tiger saw has power and versatility, too, cutting literally anything and everything using the proper blade. I use it to cut framing and plywood, siding, drywall, sheet metal, old tires, plastic and metal pipe, bricks. The PorterCable drywall blades work especially well on PVC pipe. The saw is even good for cutting tree limbs. And both tools can go absolutely ANYWHERE !! Make sure to buy yourself a third battery and keep one on the charger at all times, then you'll never want for power. The batteries charge in about 45 minutes. One point about the saw; if you use it on a material, like sheetmetal, or in a tight place where the blade can catch or hit its end on something solid, the saw can jamb, and you must manually pull the blade forward a bit and run it briefly before returning to cutting. A minor inconvenience. To sum up, I could not have chosen a better cordless combo, especially with my aspirations to do professional contract work someday. Look for more of my reviews of PorterCable power tools and the 19.2V Network cordless system.

Hammers Review "CORDED POWER"
THIS HAMMER DRILL AND RECIP SAW OFFER GREAT CORDLESS POWER. I JUST USED THE DRILL TO MAKE THIRTY FIVE 1/4' HOLES IN BRICK/CONCRETE ON A SINGLE CHARGE, AND I USED THE RECIP SAW TO CLEAR A 75' HONEYSUCKLE HEDGE. BOTH EXCEDED EXPECTATIONS.
