Hammers Review dissapointing
I am a carpenter and have been using dewalt tools for the past 16 years. I purchased the 18v hammer drill and sawzall expecting solid top of the line tools. In 14 months of use I have purchased 2 xr batterys because of failure and had the clutch replaced in the drill. The sawzall has been in for repair once also. While the drill was in the shop I purchased a 15.4 volt panasonic drill. When I received the drill back we installed a deck using the two drills side by side. The panasonic lasted about 4 times as long while driving faster and better. The chuck on the panasonic is far better and the tool is better balanced. The sawxall has a jerky stroke and has no stamina. I am very dissapointed and will not buy again. My older dewalt drills were reliable and tough. not the case with these.

Hammers Review Dewalt Mega Combo does Mega Work
I run a small remodeling business that gets into a little bit of everything, so flexibility and versatility are important at all times. This is a great combination of tools for anyone that must use a variety of fasteners in diverse situations. Having a drill/driver and a rotary hammer with common batteries and charger eliminates the duplication that usually comes with cordless tools. The recip saw is one of the tools used most often on our jobs, so popular that we often compete for its use. The light is an added "bonus" that often comes in handy.
The run time for all three tools is impressive, along with the power of all three. I have even used the recip saw, with a long blade, to cut dowm small trees.
Overall, this set was one of the best purchases I have made for my crew.

Hammers Review RUN DON'T WALK AWAY FROM THIS TOOL
I bought this tool three years ago and using it only occasionally have spent more on repairs than the tool cost in the first place. Don't waste your money like I did.

Hammers Review Milwaukee 5121-21 Rotary Hammer
This Rotary Hammer packs a lot of punch for the money. The 11 amp motor runs smoothly and makes easy work of drilling 1-1/8" holes in concrete. Insert a flat chisel and break through block, brick and concrete with ease. The detachable cord is a nice feature; if it gets damaged you can get a new one and plug it in, instead of having to open up the machine. The tools vibration dampening system works very well and reduces operator fatigue dramatically. After 100 hours of use a service light will come on, and you will have about 8 hours of use left before the tool shuts down, and the tool will need to be serviced by a Milwaukee service center. A rugged metal case rounds out the package on this affordable, durable, made in USA tool.

Hammers Review The Banana only a Monkey could love
In my opinion this hammer is trying too hard to be unique and not hard enough to compete. Yet another "California Style" knock off, the Banana has mostly barrowed features. The plastic handle though unique in some details,is uncomfortable and heavy.I would not recomend this tool to professionals.

Hammers Review Outstanding!
I purchased the 22 oz top banana from the manufacturer in San Diego early last year. I find the balance of the hammer to be its best feature. The grip is excellent on the nylon handle and the nail starter has been a real benefit. I don't use it every day but just about every weekend. It doesn't leave the typical marks of a framing hammer because of the design and I did notice a big difference in my arm after using it for several hours. My wooden handle hammers tend to bother my elbow where this one doesn't.

Hammers Review Good for non-reinforced concrete
I bought this bit thinking that it would work well for me in steel reinforced concrete. There were no reviews on it and I am new to this. I have used this bit and the 2" bit as well several times now. If you are boring through pure concrete or concrete block, it goes through pretty quickly. For thick concrete, I found that it was easier to bore down about 3/4" to 1" then work the bit sideways to break off the piece. Since there are no slots on the sides of the drill bit, you basically have to bang out the piece just broken off. If you bore deeper than 1", then you will have a heck of a time getting that piece of concrete out of the bit, because it binds between the outside of the bit and the center bit (not shown in the picture). Last, if you hit rebar, forget it. This bit won't touch that. It did break up some of the wire mesh used in one hole, but did not go through that either. I had to get a friend to torch out the rebar and the mesh. I was simply putting drains in my garage floors.

If you are boring thru concrete block, then this bit will serve you well assuming there was no steel put into it.

One last thing, the bit simply pounds down using the Bosch Hammer Drill. It does not turn. So, you do not have to worry about it catching on things. Because it is simply pounded in, the initial edge will be a little ragged for about 3/8" around the outside of the hole. Hope that helps others.

Hammers Review Revised Review!
I own several products by Bucket Boss and find their quality of materials to be top notch. I am a handyman so I put these to the test.

I use this belt for my lighter work and when I am up on a ladder and need to be able to move around. I enjoy the ease of the clasp that this belt offers, it allows for easy on, and easy off application. The pockets are a little small but then again, I limit the tools I carry in this belt.

The one thing I do not like about this belt is the fact that you cannot carry a speed square in any of the pockets. Since a speed square is an invaluable tool for general work, this is a big pain. After my second time using this belt the clasp broke and I needed to return the item for an exchange, so far the second one has been working fine.

REVISED REVIEW The buckle slips every now and then when I first put it on and lets go. Also, some of the stitching is coming loose where the pocket attaches to the apron. I may end up bringing it back, again, and asking for a new one. Overall I really like this little belt but I am getting tired of the poor quality. I have downgraded my original rating by one star.

Hammers Review Not very impressive
I love dewalt. I have a tablesaw, half a dozen cordless tools and a miter box made by them. I've used the 14.4 for a couple of years now I think and it beats the drill drivers I've had in the past (mikita, porter cable) hands down. The beef I have with this hammer/drill model is for one thing, it's pistol grip in the back makes it very unbalanced and fatigueing. Second, this model delivers only 290 in/lbs of torque. I can hold the chuck tight and bogg it down to stop. On the other side is the DW983K which has a nicely placed pistol grip in the middle of the drill/driver and delivers a bruting 400 in/lbs of torque. I can't bogg that down. I bought and sold the hammer drill in the same week. You would have to kill me to take my 14.4 drill driver away. If you want a hammer drill, get a hammer drill but don't think it will do the same job. I believe this is alot better that my old 14.4 ever was especally with the new Metal Nichol Hydride batteries.

Hammers Review Good performance Poor reliability
The drill has adequate power although reliability has been very poor. After 6 months the clutch had to be replaced which Makita handled under warranty. In 9 more months the clutch went out again. They did replace the drill but within 2 weeks one of the batteries quit. I now have purchased a new battery but the second one goes dead very quickly. Will most likely never own another.
