I have been using this oil for more than 20 years. I was extremely disappointed when Garrett Wade quit carrying it, and I was elated when my wife found it on Amazon. This is far and away the absolute best oil I have ever used. It is not only great for honing, cleaning, and keeping tools rust-free, it works incredibly well for getting off the inadvertent rust on bench and floor tool milled surfaces. A little camelia, a little 000 steel wool, and voila! Back in business. You can't go wrong with this stuff.

what a friggin deal!! $2.00 dollars for a real carpenter's pencil! now if only i had a real carpenter to use one.

I had tried many chalk-holders before I bought this one. The problem with all of them was that they gripped the chalk using a spring mechanism. After a couple of weeks the spring would become slack and the chalk would slip into the tube as you wrote. Very annoying. This precision tool (it is finely made)uses a chuck nut to grip the chalk. You turn the nut to tighten it. So this holder works even with thinner and smoother types of chalk.

These are a great set of pliers for all phases of construction, not just electrical work. A must for hanging ceiling tile grid. A must have for any tradesman.

This is a great pair of pliers to have, I have trusted Channellock for a very long time, simply because they make great pliers, I only buy Channellock and Craftsman pliers, simply because they can stand up to any working conditions. I have used this comfortable pair of pliers for a lot of things, not just wiring, it helped me with my car a whole lot as well. A very good and useful tool to have, doesn't slip and feels like it belongs in your hand...

They are Channellocks. The do what they are supposed to do better than any other brand of tounge and groove pliers.

As a Union Electrician, Ive used many Types of "Slip Joint Pliers", and Channellock 440s are always appropriate for any Gripping Job You have, Big Or Small. Excellent Locking Power allows you to hold even if you lose your grip on the tool.Theres a reason why Channel lock is the trade name for the tool, regardless of brand.

i first learn that this tool was actually for wire cutting 6 mos. after i was using it on every brake job i did. they are great for rear drum brake springs and the best part they will not slip off of the spring and cause you to get a knuckle buster. i have been doing mechanical work on cars for 7 years now and i always make sure that i have my 748s' the only down fall is that chanellock is the only i have found that makes them and most hardware stores don't carry them --special order only.. well enjoy

You know the diagonal cutting pliers cut but if you have ever used diagonal pliers to pull out nails or staples you will quickly notice the difference the between the straight and curved cutters. The curved ones are a definate must have tool. It makes jobs involving removing staples and nails so much easier. If you need diagonal cutting pliers you should buy the curved ones. These are an excellent choice since they are Channellock Pliers. They're guaranteed too!!

This tool is well machined and operates smoothly. The power in your hand is transferred to the work efficiently and the heavy jaws grip better than any other slip-joint pliers. Less expensive tools rattle around in your hand like a cheap child's toy, but these do not. They're more expensive than most, but it's the only pair you'll need to buy.

I am a professional gardener and this is one of my favorite tools. It's perfect for getting the little seedlings that pop up along with the ground covering weeds that are so hard to get rid of. It's easy to use and perfect for tight spaces. I always carry it with me and use it almost daily. I wouldn't go to a job site without it!
