Hand Tool Review Great tool for the price and decent construction
I have various types of torque wrenches but wanted a beam type in/lb wrench. For the price and quality this is more than adequate for working on powersports equipment like snowmobiles, motocross bikes etc.

Hand Tool Review sho can knockdown........
I am Drywaller by trade, take it from me you can not go wrong with these knives. They are user friendly from novice to professional to beginer to know it all. The best part is the painter type screw in handle. This feature eliminates stilts or scaffolding in most cases and the safety issues with material on the floor. Happy Knockdown!

Hand Tool Review Definite requirement for installers...
I do alot of car audio installations and this little thing saves alot of time... i can strip "ALMOST" any wire in a second... i say almost because it does not support 0/1, 4 and 8 AWG... bigger power lines... but for more common uses for speaker wires and other electronics, this is no doubt my best friend... If you are not able to pick it up on amazon, all local autozones carry this for under 10 bucks... i bought it as a replacement after one of my customers ran over my first one...

Hand Tool Review Best Stripper for NM (Romex) Cable
I bought two of these cutters, one for 12 gauge and one for 14 gauge wire. This handy stripper has a little notch in it which lets you cut the sheath part of NM or romex cable without nicking the conductors. You then just pull off the sheathing. This is great for wiring jobs where you need to strip off lots of sheathing, like panel installations and installing receptacles, switches, ect. No more wasted time with trying to strip off the sheath with a knife, not to mention cut fingers! A must have tool for anyone working with wiring.

High quality tool steel, comfortable, well designed, etc., they work well. I bought mine at Home Depot, since I needed them quickly. Lowes now sells them in my area.

Hand Tool Review For any wiring job!
I have been working with this product for quite some time. It is truly an amazing piece of equipment. No EST installer should be without this in their toolbox. It comes with 5 6' flourescent green push/pull rods. Also it comes with a bullnose (has a hole to feed wire through) which is great for fishing up or down insulated walls, and an Egg beater attachment which is extremely useful when fishing through drop ceilings. Each rod can be linked via the threaded ends to give you 30' to work with, plus... Here is a neat little trick I learned by accident. If you get yourself a nifty Blue LED flashlight... you can use it to locate these rods in dark areas... the blue light causes the rods to literally glow in the dark when you shine it on them. Talk about a time saver.

LACO TG150 Texture Gun / Hand Pump

Hand Tool Review Great product with great results
I'm just a homeowner... but my dad does drywall texturing for a living and I grew up working in the trade during my summers as a kid. So I know good looking texture when I see it, but it's safe to say the previous owner of my house did NOT.

I decided to retexture some of the areas in my house where the previous owner had removed some wallpaper but never re-textured the wall. I debated between the Laco and the RedTail for about 2 days and couldn't decide. Both seemed similar but the Laco was about $150 less than the RedTail ($200 vs. $350). Unable to decide I emailed the owners of both companies and asked why I should buy their product over their competitor. The owner of the Laco, "Louie" replied to my email with a list of reasons his gun was superior. He was a great source of info and later on he even personally called me on the phone and gave me tips on how to mix the texture after I purchased it. The owners of the Redtail never replied to my emails. I bought the Laco from a local supply company and immediately noticed the quality. Unlike the RedTail the Laco completely breaks down for cleaning. Replacment parts are a fraction of the replacement parts for the RedTail (check the websites, the RedTails gaskets and parts are rediculously expensive for what they are!).

I'm thrilled with the results I got from my Laco texture gun. The initial investment is a bit steep (but still 50% less than the RedTail) but it's worth it in the results and the cost savings over the spray cans. The Laco is a great product, the owner of the company is a stand up guy, and I'm very happy I bought it. I'm just a homeowner with an eye for drywall texture... if you're a professional drywall guy or handyman then you NEED a Laco texture gun for pathwork. It's a real time saver.

Hand Tool Review Maximally useful for whittlers and small carvers
All of the Warren blades and handles are excellent products, the bent knive blades however are something you seldom see in the craft or hardware stores and are extreamly useful for whittling and small in the round carving.
Note there are two varieties, the Warren bent knives are sharp on one side, and so there are right and left bends. I suggest that a pair is always in order, they are not right and left so much for your handedness but rather how you need to approach the work.
