Product was purchased for automotive work. The Micrometer was easy to read. It is an excellent product for the price.

After calibration, my Smart Tool has shown me just how inaccurate traditional bubble levels are. Keep in mind, in order to fully calibrate a smart tool you have to calibrate it in all eight positions. But that's a small price to pay for astounding accuracy!

Don't know why they sell these bundled with a traditional double-bubble level, but they do. You'll quickly learn to turn on the beeper, and never bother yourself with reading a bubble level again.

The only drawback to this device is that it's sometimes TOO sensitive. You have to let it settle for a few seconds before you can "trust" the reading, otherwise you might get a false reading 0.2 degress off either way. But once you know that, it's cake.

I just installed 13 interior doors in a house built in the 50's. The house was out of square something awful.

Having a big level that is also tough was the only way I am still not doing this job. I had a level that was the 78" from another manufacture and it got dropped off a 6 foot ladder, after that is was good for making non-square openings.

This tool is tough and very easy to read. You know what they say "you get what you pay for" well this level is the only one that has lasted more than 1 year on the job site.

This 36" Stabila level is just as great as all the others. I've waited a long time to purchase high quality levels, and these have met all my expectations!!! I trim houses and build cabinets and the 36" level is great for wood return windows and for plumbing the upper cabinets. As soon as I received it, I checked it with my other Stabila levels and they are all exectly the same. I've bought about 6 lesser levels in the past year and they all read different even from side to side,not the Stabila. I feel as though I have purchased my last level,execpt to add more to my working collection. GOD BLESS AMERICA !!!

Takes over where the 48" level comes up short.
Everything about it is solid.

this is a great product to use for a stocking-stuffer. It is cheap, but worth a lot more - thanks to amazon.com! if you are considering to buy this product, don't question yourself any more!

Long ago when I started as a sheetrock laborer, I use a fixed blade knife. I liked it. I lost it. I bought a "Sheetrock" brand knife to replace it. I lost it too.

I'm now on my third round with the Stanley 199 and I don't use any other knife. I believe that a fixed blade it much safer than a retracting blade. It also works much better.

This is such a simple thing, but when you can't find it and you have used one similar for years, it was getting agravating.
This is exactly what he wanted..He uses it at work, not his knife.
It is a small box cutter, not the big, bulky ones, Just the right size to fit in pocket with change..
It was shipped promply and you had the extra blades too!!

I was very surprised that when I opened the box, two of the three rubber inserts had melted and were sticky and messy leaving all sorts of black sticky ooze on my hands that would only come of with paint thinner. Brought it inside to cool off but the rubber remained sticky and came off on the hands and the tool. Very disappointed in it.

7 or 8 years ago, I was looking for a quick-change knife, could'nt find one. Bought this one and it turned out to be the perfect knife for siding and any other activity where you have to wear gloves. I wore the paint off of it. Much harder to find without that bright yellow finish when you drop it. Still has the rubber grips intact. Cool knife.
