Hand Tool Review nothing like a quality utensil!
I works as advertised! opens many different style of cans with ease, what more can one ask. sturdily constructed, it seems it will last a very, very long time. nice to look at. what's not to like? perhaps the stell finish tends to look spotty if you do not carefully wipe it down after cleaning but..overall highly, recommended.

Hand Tool Review Sturdy and easy to use!
I prefer to use a manual can opener over an electric one, and this is one of the best out there! I got one because I lost my old one and would definitely buy this brand again. It's easy to use, it doesn't take a ton of effort to turn it - and it's sturdy. Some other can openers I've tried were difficult to turn and rusted easily, but not this one! I highly recommend it. :D

Hand Tool Review Ultimate German Quality
This can opener is the finest I've ever had. WMF products are the best in the world, considered the Mercedes Benz of kitchen supplies. I'm in Germany, and I can tell you, the Germans know a few things about kitchens and quality. WMF is extremely popular here; I was excited to see that you can find this brand also in the USA. The can opener is built tough, operates smoothly, and looks simple yet elegant. I've purchased 3 of these for family members, and they all love them.

Hand Tool Review Its hard to imagine...
a better can opener. I mean, what would it do better than this one?

Hand Tool Review Excitement over a can opener? You bet.
First off I have to admit my bias towards Zyliss products. This company seems to get all the details just right, from ergonomics to quality of construction to design.

This can opener is no exception. It rests on top of the can rather than hanging off the side as with most other can opener designs. The cutting mechanism works its magic right along the middle of the pronounced ridge of the top edge of the can. The location of the cut is such that there is neither a sharp edge on the can or the lid. An added benefit is that the lid rests snugly inside of the can without falling inside - great for storing cans in the fridge for later use.

It is hard to visualize or explain exactly how it works, but it does work exceedingly well. I doubt that you will be the least bit disappointed...even after paying more than double than the cost of an average can opener.

Hand Tool Review SUPER EASY FOR LEFT HANDED PERSON
OPEN IT UP, CLOSE IT WITH THE KNOB ON TOP OF THE CAN, TURN IT EASILY, AND OFF COMES THE ENTIRE TOP WITH NO LITTLE PIECES OF TIN FALLING INTO THE CAN. - Takes a little getting use to.

Hand Tool Review Useful
I bought this as a gift for my wife who doubted she would ever use it...until the need arose. Then she was most pleased. She finds the tools more comfortable to hold and easier to use than my heavier tools. She appreciates the assortment of "odds and ends" which she, in the past, has been searching for. She was pleased with the "multiple use" tools. She has decided to keep it handy to where she can easily find it for little repair jobs....I still have the bigger ones given to me. Thus, though ordering was difficult, the final product was worth it.

Hand Tool Review About time!!!!
I was looking for a tool set that I could have as mine, my husband is a mechanic and trying to use his tools is a nightmare. So I wanted my own set, but I wanted something that he would not use and "missplace" to his tool box. I received these and Love them. They are the perfect size for a female hand and they are not to heavy to tire you out while your are using them around the house. The design is pretty inovative too. The only thing I wish was different was the case. Everything is laid out nicely, but you have to remove items first to get to some of the tools that you might need. Otherwise this set is wonderful. I liked it so much I went on to purchase the power drill and cordless screwdriver. Now I just have to figure out a way for my husband to leave them alone!!!!! It's about time someone had this idea for women!!!!!!!

Hand Tool Review Is this going to do the job for me?
I was provided a hard shell tool kit at work. I prefer a soft tool kit & having lots of tools and assorted items I wanted a toolkit that I could carry over my shoulder that would make it easier with the extra weight and leave my hands free to carry parts that would not fit (or normally carry) in my tool bag. I looked at Time Motion Tools, Techni-Tool, Specialized Products, Jensen & Black Box. All of these companies carried the soft toolkits, but the price everywhere was way too high for me. Also, they came in the breifcase format that left me without free hands & was harder with the heavy tools to carry. I found this tool backpack & one from Jensen (over $130). The Jensen model had flip out pallets, extra pockets on the outside and was bigger overall. The Bucket Boss was a bit smaller, had no flip-out pallets and had a removable extra toolkit on the outside (it comes with a shoulder strap to carry just this toolkit if you dont need all your tools). The cost & design made me go with the Bucket Boss Backpack. THE GOOD: This item is made of heavy material & the quality of design was great. This toolkit holds all of my tools & documents, while I keep my LAN tester and other CAT5 equipment in the removable bag. This makes it easier if I am just working with cables & it allows me to leave it at home/office when I am not using it (I love this, as my expensive tools and test equipment will not get lost if the backpack is stolen/lost). THE BAD: The tool pockets are all generic vs. other tool kits that have specific holders for tools (i.e. pliars) and they are not deep enough for my screwdrivers to go in tip down. I would have also prefered that the tool holders would have been on the back of the case (when you open the backpack up, the tool holders are on the side where the removable pouch is. The side that is close to you has straps for holding things down. THE MISC: The keyholder shown in the picture is not included. There is a keyholder in the removable bag though. You do have pleny of places on the back above the removable bag to attach keys & items in the d-rings. There is also a pocket behind the removable bag, but it would only hold paper or other thin items. The straps seem sturdy enough (my pack weighs 20-25lbs). This is a great buy for your money & it is cheaper here on amazon.com than any other place I found it. There are 12 interior tool pockets inside the pack & 11 pockets in the removable bag (the size of the pockets in the removable bag are varied while the backpack has just 2 sizes of pockets). You can carry many tools in this case, I even have a plastic tray that I carry inside the pack for connectors, screws & other loose items. One big plus is when traveling overnight, you can even carry your clothes in the backpack along with your tools to keep down on your total bags you have to carry. Overall, for a toolkit at a resonable price, this is an excellent main or travel toolkit!

Hand Tool Review Nice shape, feel, design
Very comfortable, nice shape makes it easy to use. Has a cool lock for when not in use. Only downside is the low amount of wire sizes it cuts - could use 22 or 24 gauge cutters.

Hand Tool Review Quality
I have a Klein from Home Depot that cost $6 more, and this tool is just as good. Buy it.

Hand Tool Review good set
This is a good tool set. It does not compare with SK, but is worth the 56 dollars I spent for it at Costco.

Hand Tool Review Best Kit Ever!
Being a farmer, I need a good set of tools that is easy to carry with me everywhere I go and has what I need in it so I don't have to drive back to the shop to get it. This set has it all! Of all the sets I have owned over the years, this Crescent set has been tha absolute best. I have used it to build a carousel, fix the tractors, adjust the doors in our market, you name it. All if the tools inside cover all the bases. I highly recommend it!!

Hand Tool Review Decent drill for the price
This drill has a 1/2 inch chuck and about 300 inch pounds of torque. It weighs about 5 lbs. Although the torque to weight ratio is not the greatest compared to newer smaller battery models, this drill is about as good as you're going to get for the money. Deltas smaller shopmasters are too underpowered for bigger jobs. I would compare this one favorably to any of the Skills and it blows away most B&D's. Blows away all "cheapie" 18v's. I don't know if replacing batteries will be easy nor do I know how long they will last. This drill seems powerful enough to tackle most household/home improvement work.

Hand Tool Review Nice drill for the occasional do-it-yourselfer
From the company best known for it's table saws and other woodworking tools comes the Delta Shopmaster line of cordless drills geared toward the do-it-yourself homeowner. This drill is an adequately powered, quality cordless drill at a cost that you can easily handle. It's great for screwing around. [...]

Hand Tool Review IMOW is our new pal!
Well, first off, my wife thought this was crazy. Sometime in the shopping process I did too. I mean, is it *that* hard to mow your own freakin' grass?

I grew up in Florida, where lawnmowing is an ugly chore, in 100% humidity, with sticky, hot grass all over your shoes, legs, etc.
Bad lawnmowing memories.
Now that I needed to buy a lawnmower of my own, I had always wanted to pick up one of those Freindly Robotics robomowers... When I saw Toro private-lable these things, give them a bigger battery, and then the prices kept falling, and then they had the refurbs even cheaper... I thought, heck, why not do it?

Report that I'm pretty pleased. I started the thing in the dusk, so I wouldn't be embarrassed by neighbors seeing this thing eat my flowerbeds, or small children if things went terribly wrong. Ended up with my wife and I with big silly grins as IMOW just ate our grass while we watched it (or tried not to watch it and look cool while the neighbors gawked and found excuses to come over and watch it - we're meeting a lot more neighbors now) The kids like IMOW ("Daddy, IMOW likes to mow ALL BY HIMSELF!") and so do I.
The down side is that there aren't quite enough pegs, especially if you have lots of obstacles that need the guide wire navigated around. The refurb didn't ship with a video or charger, I am assuming Toro will make good on parts if you didn't get everything in the 'open box specials' though.
If you have a relatively flat, square lawn free of lawn gnomes and junk, you are a prime hassle-free IMOW candidate.
Hey, go for it. It's a cool little mower.

Hand Tool Review A Really Practical High-Tech Toy... I mean Tool!
I asked for this Imow as a Father's Day gift. Wife was skeptical at first but she went along. It took some time to install the wire boundary for the whole yard but the mower worked quite well. Wife is impressed enough to consider getting one for her dad - maybe next year Father's Day.

The whole box weighs around 100 lbs so be really sure that you want and can use it as shipping to you is free but returning freight won't be.

Before you buy, go get a copy of the user manual from the manufacturer .. and verify that your yard terrain is within specs. Then do some paper layouts of the mowing plots. The thing uses a zigzag pattern to cover the area. You want to avoid bottlenecks/strait-like areas to allow it to traverse the plot. I found it more efficient to break a large block into smaller plots as the zigzags overlap with shorter distance between boundaries. My yard totals about 10000 sq ft with 4 plots. The smallest takes about 40 min., the largest 100 mins. With those work durations, it fully recharges overnight.

It is kind of fun to watch as it follows the boundary wire during the edge mode (very precise turning). The mowing is a triangular zigzag. Not entirely random though, I noticed it seems to track obstacles that it bumps into and maneuvers to avoid that area later on (my firmware is rev 3.2...) In any case, the pattern looks inefficient compared to the path a person would do. Just let the thing work and with enough time the grass becomes even. A couple trial runs and you can determine the correct time for each plot.

On dry days with long enough grass, I let it loose on a plot as I return from work. It is very quiet and can hang out thru dusk and night time w/o risk of West Nile, Eastern Equine Encephalitis and other nice effects of mosquito bites. And holy cow, I get to do other things on the weekend!

Finally, automation gets to the yard! I guess my son will have to do part-time web authoring for spending money in the future...

Hand Tool Review Convenient to keep around the house
This comes in handy for some of your smaller, lower maintenance gardening projects.

Hand Tool Review My favorite garden tool.
I keep a vegetable garden in Winder, GA, and this is my favorite gardening tool. I use it for everything from initial planting (after the ground has been broken and prepared with larger tools) to scratching fertilizer into the soil ongoing. It's lightweight, convenient to hold and easy to use to loosen soil.

Also seems to be pretty much indestructible.

Hand Tool Review Nice but...
I've owned this knife for over 5 years. It has no rust and opens like the day I bought it. It feels good in your hand. Still maintains an incredible edge. I've used it mountaineering and one week excursions. I have even used it for markup on some of my wood working projects. Despite the durability, some of the serrated teeth have broken. I would buy it again, but I'm looking for a tanto style blade this time.

Hand Tool Review Great knife!
Gerber makes excellent knives! Thanks to the clip this knife sits comfortably at the edge of my pocket for east access. The E-Z out description is very accurate since I can open the blade with one hand. The blade is very sharp and the serrations make cutting rope a ton easier! Excellent knife!
