MP400 is very handy and it saves you caring a bunch of tools - it' compact very, doesn't weiht at all and is one of the best presents you can make to your friends!

It's about the size of a regular swiss army knife, but feels much more durable and practical.

I had been considering a Leatherman Wave (you should look at the new Charge tool too if you are considering the Wave), but always thought it was too big and bulky to carry around.

The CS4 is perfect for an everyday-tool to carry with you.

Leatherman makes a series of "Juice" tools, you can see a list of them and what features they have at their website. To me the CS4 was the best combination of bulk and features.

I have owned several multitools, and this one is the best. It has everything you could need in a compact unit. All the tools are well designed, well placed, crafted like a fine watch, and finished to a fare-thee-well. The knife blades are hollow ground. It is compact, simple to operate, and relatively lightweight for its size. The manufacturer offers a decent (and inexpensive) plastic holster which allows you to clip the unit to your belt or shoulder strap.

I've had this little Leatherman tool for over a year. I'm not normally a tool guy - I work with computers. But I wanted a small tool I could keep with me for incidental work.

This is a great combo tool. The knife blade is big enough to do most jobs like opening boxes, cutting cords, etc. I keep it super sharp with a 3-stage electric sharpener and it holds the edge for a long time. The screwdriver blades all come in handy. The pliers are probably the component I use the least as I really need sidecutters more often. But the few times I've needed them they worked well.

The BEST part of this tool is its size. It fits perfectly into the fifth pocket of my jeans (the little pocket above the front right pocket). I just drop it in there daily. It doesn't get in my way but is right at hand whenever I need it.

Buy one, especially at the price!

They seem to make a different set for different tools. This is the set for the Kick. I wouldn't recommend buying something like this for your Leatherman unless it specifies your individual tool as compatible.
My brother has the Kick, these work great, he enjoys his Leatherman all the more now.

After you have worn out your original leatherman sheath, get this one or the basket weave verson. The leather is about twice as thick, the stitching excellent. By using this stitch technique the stress is distributed all along the leather and not just at the rivet points. (Which cause the leather to tear.)

In my opinion this is the sheath that should have been sold with the original product. But hey, they and you saved a dollar on the original purchase, and if you really wear your leatherman around enough to wear out the original sheath you won't mind buying yet another sheath.

The basket weave pattern does look a bit "Western", i.e. the "Gun Smoke" six gun at my side look, "Look out sheriff, I'm packing pilers!" but hey, us tool guys don't care about fashion or we wouldn't be wearing pocket pliers on our hip. And it does match the basket weave that a lot of police officer tool belts use. (Which BTW in my opinion all officers should be issued a set of leatherman tools.)

This is the perfect way to keep your Leatherman handy - that's why you have one, you never know when you'll need to "fix sumptin." It is a great companion to the black oxide finish model, they go together like biscuits and gravy. The heavy duty nylon should last almost as long as your tool. The velcro flap holds the tool securly, yet allows for easy one-handed deployment. I like a belt pouch much better than sticking it in a pocket that is already full of other essential junk. They ought to come out with a package that includes the pouch with the tool.

this is one of the best tools i own it has a nice feel to it. the interchangeable bits is the best thing about the tool. the knife is extremely sharp and everything is placed in a convent area

I just love the new xti< It's built like a tank, (titanium baby!!) the tools are easy to use, and are holding up well in hard use. I have the leather sheath, a little stiff at first but real nice. you can keep the xti open and it will still fit in the sheath. the extra tools fit in the sheath as well.
