Screwdrivers Review DeWalt Magnetic Drive Guide
I'm a builder in Southern Oregon. These things work well for driving long screws with one hand, and they can significantly speed up tasks like screwing down decking. They don't last forever: durability is not their strong suit. But worth it anyhow, I'm replacing my old one.

Screwdrivers Review What can I say, it works well!
There is not much to the product to review. The construction is sturdy, and it does the job well! A must have for any toolbox.

Screwdrivers Review Makita 6832
I've used the gun for decks and some subfloor work as well as drywall/kal-board. Works very well as long as you are aware of a couple quirks. One is not to put any pressure whatsoever on the nose until you're ready to drive the screw, or it skips and there's no backing up the belt of screws easily. For the most part, once you know the adjustments and initial setups for the different length screws, it is a real time saver. For small drywall repairs tho, you're still going to just use a drywall gun or other screwgun rather than break out this one. But for the bigger jobs, this is great. Be sure to write into your job the cost of screws, it gets a bit pricey for a large deck. I find my partner, who's from the old school, grabbing the gun and enjoying the speed and consistency of the screw set.

Screwdrivers Review 25.000 Screws
I have drive thrue teak planks more than 25.000 1 5/8" galvanized screws on decks and the screw gun never have failured even once. I already order the new model 6834. Great tool!

Screwdrivers Review Long Wait
This tool is very versitable and convienent. It is a must for jobs requiring predrill(not countersink). The 4 piece set will do most jobs. The only concern I have with this product is the availability of it. I waited 4+ weeks for it to arrive. Also I have not been able to locate any replacement parts in any of my local stores. This tool is made very well and seems to be able to stand daily use in the construction field.

Screwdrivers Review Excellent tool!
This tool is invaluable when used for setting hinges! Hold the hinge in place, push the drill against it and know that it's centered in the hole. Works just like a Vix bit only you can pop it out the holder, flip it, put it back in the holder and voila', now you've got a driver to power in the screw. I've gone through three sets as they tend to grow feet and walk away. :(

Screwdrivers Review Nearly there
The Milwaukee power screwdriver is almost there. The torque is tremendous for the 2.4 volt motor. It's still solid and doesn't have any signs of bearing squawk - and I got it used. It's weight makes it a little heavy to grab for minor household repairs - but for repetitive jobs like driving dozens of sheet metal screws, changing outlets, or setting molly screws in sheetrock walls, it is a real wrist saver.

It would be a real advantage to have a bit holder on the driver itself instead of on the charger. Buy a magnetic bit extension so you can use those bits they sell on the hardware counter at 5 for a buck!

It's time for new batteries, since the ones I have are tired out. Not sure how long they last since the driver and batteries were used when I got it. If they last like the driver, I'll be a one happy camper.

Screwdrivers Review Hey it's great, but
this unit is the same as the Panasonic unit . it is a 200 RPM low and 400 Rpm high speed. Great for service tech.'s

Screwdrivers Review Time and Back Saver
I have used the Miwaukee 6708-21 on many decks and subfloors and it has saved me time and pain. It is fantastic to be able to stand up straight and shoot in up to 20 screws per minute. Milwaukee also offers drill point screws to prevent spliting! My only complaints are that screws and bits may be hard to find locally and a bit will only last 500 - 1000 screws, but I wouldn't give it up for anything. BUY EXTRA BITS AND REPLACE WHEN PERFORMANCE DECREASES!! It is worth it!!

Screwdrivers Review best stip screwdriver ever
i have run in approx. 30 to 40 thousand #2 square drive screws and never changed the bit,you really got to adjust it just right and then forget about lost time, thats a thing of the past!!

Screwdrivers Review Very useful item - - BUT recent price hike of almost 30% ???
When I first saw this item, I purchased (3) of them for use with industrial shop cutting tools. Upon arrival I liked them for there values and purchased (5) more. I've seen & purchased many of these types of tools over the past several years. The recent (near) 30% price increase has deterred us from buying any more of this item as it is now priced outside of its value. At the now $8.99, there are better drivers on the market with far better handle storage capabilities.

Screwdrivers Review Why didn't I get one of these sooner......
This is such a great tool to have around the house. The big handle is great size and even stores the tips when not in use, so never spending time looking around for the right tip.

Screwdrivers Review Excellent driver but lacking a little
The person who invented this driver is a genuis. It comes with 15 bits for all sizes and type of screws. Which is very good because your driver can last a very long time plus you can use the bits with drills. The only problem is the tips aren't magnetic. Which means your still likely to carry at least 2 magnet tip drivers. But if you know what your doing, this is all you'll need.

Screwdrivers Review Wouldn't want to do without it
As the owner of a busy handyman service, I find this tool gets more use than almost any, except my 18V impact driver. I am on my second 15-1 and about to order two more. The variety of bits in the handle has bailed me out of many a situation that otherwise would have driven me crazy (fortunately, not a long trip). The dizzying variety of screw types in use today makes the 15-1 indispensible - and the ratchet feature is awesome!
They are harder than heck to find in stores, many no longer carrying them for some weird reason. Don't lose the bits! Make sure they are securely clicked into the detent before using. I have lost three in shrubbery while troubleshooting lighting.
Put one in your glove box, one in your shop apron and get another for your spouse if s/he likes neat gadgets. Great gift. Cheers.

Screwdrivers Review corded self feed screw shooter
I read a bunch of review on the quick drive screw shooter and they seemed to be either a love or hate situation I opted to go with senco as their other tools perform well. We are currently building a 8500 sf custom home in conifer colorado. The wind is something terrible and caused delays by blowing braced walls out of plumb etc. The point is, this thing rocks. It put us back on schedule in 1/2 day of use. The only downside is that it seems to cook tips on the square drive screws... I can't comment on dry wall application yet. Well worth the money for any crew size from one to five on up i would suppose.

Screwdrivers Review Labor Savings!
I am a general contractor and as most contractors know, labor is the biggest expence of any job. I purchased two Senco Duraspin's and the first day on a small remodel job, the screwgun's paid their own way. WOW. I wish I would have got some last year. The assembly instructions are a little unclear as to assembly, Tool adjustments are quick and easy. The screws are kind of expensive, but I think the labor savings outweigh the added cost.

Screwdrivers Review Well balanced claw hammer
I liked this hammer alot. I think that is well balanced and very durable. I have had it for a few years now and have not needed to replace it or wanted to replace it. It is very good for all aplications. It is a nice hammer to have in your toolbox for all of the general hammering needs.

Screwdrivers Review Yup, this is a hammer alright.
This is the hammer I own. If it would have been left to me, I probably would have just bought a $6.97 hammer with a plain old wooden handle from Wal-Mart. Instead, my dad bought me this fancypants hammer for a present. Well, as the other reviewer suggested, you can hammer stuff with it. And it works well for all "general hammering needs." Like.....such diverse "hammering needs" as 'hammering big nails,' and 'hammering small nails.' It works just fine for that.

The rubber handle means it won't slip out of your hands as easily as wood.

Also, it's yellow, so if you throw it at an animal that's running through tall grass, it's way easier to find than if it were just brown.

I've hammered lots of nails with this hammer, and it just keeps hammering.

Screwdrivers Review Stanley - Good, not Great
Stanley has a very workable multifunction tool here, I expect several years of moderate service but it lacks the fine attention to detail you see in more expensive lines, so I doubt my son will inherit it in working condition. Still, for prices as low as $7 at my local Menards, it is tough to beat the versatility and convenience, the larger handle gives greater torque and the bits can easily be replaced as they wear.

Screwdrivers Review Great tool for those with arthritis or dexterity issues!
The handle is very soft & the ratchet system make driving screws a snap. Takes half the time & half the effort. I bought this for my wife to make it easier for her & I use it more than her. Great choice of screw heads included.
