This is a good product to go along with a home security system.It provides piece of mind in knowing that an intruder would have trouble accessing your residence.The sensitivity adjustment is great,it can be set to suit anyones need,no matter what size yard you have.

The real DeWalt Rapid Load quick change is the one to get. You don't have to pull back the collar to engage the bit like others require you to do. What a concept. It also holdes the bit more securely with less play. I bought this set and the only complaint is that the magnetic bit holder and its bits are a waste. You most likely already have a bunch of them around anyway. The 2" bits that lock into the Rapid Load are much better and should be the ones included.

Almost a 5-star product, but I have a few minor complaints. First, the quick-change bit doesn't fit in the nifty little case container with all the rest of the pieces! Not a complete tragedy since it will probably spend most of its time in your screwdriver or drill. Also the bonus screwdriver's "DeWalt" label was peeling off fresh out of the box, kinda cheesy and not the quality you'd expect from these guys normally.

Most of these bits seem to come coated with oil. I've seen this before, and I assume that it is to prevent rust. Still, beware because it'll get all over you and whatever you're working with unless you clean em off thoroughly before use.

I was glad to find this item on Amazon.com's website. 1/4" adaptors are so common but the sockets that use that drive only go up to about 1/2". Using this you can go up almost if not to 7/8" which can be useful. Heck one day my dad and I were working in the basement of our house and he didn't have a 1/4" adapter handy so WE got out this one and went to work. WHen I saw this I bought two one for him and one for myself.

My drywall projects grew in scope as I gained experience, so I decided to invest in a screwgun. I have installed drywall in a garage and several rooms. I bought the DW 276 because I might also use this for decking or flooring. This tool works great on drywall, rapidly and consistently driving screws to the proper depth. I have placed plywood subflooring with this tool and have found that the "feel" of this application was different from drywall, but the tool was good for this application as well.

Overall nice quality tad above average.

This is a sweet framing blade, though maybe a bit overpowered by my 15A Milwaukee saw, it works great on 13A and smaller saws, especially for ripping fir or pine. I did get unacceptablle blade flutter and runout in thicker OSB. It really is not up to the task of cutting hardwoods; the kerf is too thin, and maybe the cutwork expansion slots weaken it. Installing a deck of hard and demse ipe wood (from Brazil) it couldn't handle the wood at all. But to be fair, this is a framing blade, and as such should be used ONLY for fir and pine or other light, soft framing woods. When used appropriately it cuts straight, clean, and very, very fast. The teeth are very durable.

I've been in the low-voltage field for quite a few years now and I've gone through many precision screwdrivers. These are a great set. I use them day in and day out and i use them rough! They are easy to get to and very easy to use. They give me plenty of torque even for those tough little screws! So give them a try it will be the last brand of precision screwdrivers you buy!

This is a simple-enough tool to use, but use requires careful "sighting" of each hole to be drilled. I have had one, purchased through Sears, for probably 30 years. What I like about it, which makes the one-hole-at-a-time tediousness of the set up worth it, is: You can use stock of dissimilar thickness, yet have one "face" perfectly in alignment, so the "face" of a cabinet framed by dowling pieces together will be flush. This works if you get simple cabinet stock of different dimensions (say 1" x 2", 1" x 3", etc.) where the thickness are never the same. If you use a self-centering jig, the pieces will be parallel, centered on each other, and their "faces" slightly offset. I prefer to have all the offset on the inside of the cabinet , and have the fronts smooth and flush.

This tool is very convenient. It spins much slower than a typical drill and has clutch that is surprisingly consistent. Why only four stars ? Because the chassis is assembled in 3 pieces ( most are two ), the nose/ clutch diaphragm, motor housing another, and the pistol grip is the third. The resaon I took away a star is because although you can't see the separate pieces flex, it feels like it, but only when drilling 4" deck srews which torque the housing just enough. If you typically use screws that are 3" or less, you'll never notice it. Kind of a minor quibble but one that takes away from the overall feel of quality. Aside from that, the gun is lightweight, the grip is comfortable, the motor has plenty of guts and sings like a sewing machine. The unit has triple dust protection and the green body is easy to locate on the job. Great tool, I just think they should have molded the grip and motor housing in one piece, not two. Does the job without fault, would have given 4 1/2 5 stars, but that was not an option!
