The best small screwdriver I own. A great grip and a quality product. Built to last forever.

I am an architect/contractor and this driver is one of my staples. I own many of these little screwdrivers. Why? They are compact, very handy and well designed. I purchase them in bulk since they seem to wander off quite a bit. They have two flats and two phillips heads, all are magnetized. I have yet to find a screwdriver that can compare.

I've had this screwdriver for a few months and I love it. The small size (smaller than most cordless screwdrivers) is perfect to get into small spaces and for carrying around. I use it on my computers and appliances. I have a little computer repair kit. (I own 3 computers and like to modify them) I took the stupid ratcheting screwdriver out of the kit and put this screwdriver in. It has a manual setting to use to start tight screws, but I haven't had to use it yet. It doesn't have a clutch control, but it isn't really powerful enough to need one. It's powerful enough to do the job, but not powerful enough to cause damage to my computers. It says to only use alkaline batteries, but I've had no problem using rechargeable NiMH batteries in it. Only had to recharge it once since I bought it. One of the things that I really don't like about most cordless drivers is the long recharge times, but with my 15 minute charger, it's been a snap. And of course I can always use another set of batteries if I am in a real hurry. It's become my most used tool. You can certainly buy better screwdrivers, but for the size and money this is a good buy.

I bought this screwdriver, that noone thought existed for my father in law. He doesn't like to have to use expensive batteries for his tools. It has the power he needs and runs on the batteries he wants.

I bought the DC520KA to work on two bedroom remodels. Works fantastic! No cord to dance around! Always being one to check/read customer reviews, for some years now I have gone with DeWalt 18v tools. Unlike some other brands that have some outstanding cordless tools and some not so good tools in their lines, DeWalt almost always gets good marks. So far, I have not been disappointed in either quality or performance as expected. DeWalt, as usual, has another cordless winner here. Having the same tool Mfg'r also means you can share the batteries and chargers. A couple of battery packs will drive drywall screws all day long.

Owning several DeWalt 18v tools that were supplied with batteries and chargers, I did not need additional batteries; or chargers; or the kit boxes, so I opted to purchase the bare tool from one of Amazon's third party sellers, Max Tools, (DeWalt DC520B) for a substantial savings.

The DC520KA is fast and efficient for driving screws. I have bad shoulders now so it is a bit heavy for overhead work for me (I switch to a DeWalt corded model), but certainly managable if you are an average homeowner or a pro and only want to use one drywall gun. The gun is pricey, but thats DeWalt for you and you tend to get what you pay for.

If you're a homeowner that may do some serious drywalling once or twice in your lifetime, this package may be too expensive for your needs and a simple, cheaper corded model may be the way to go if $ is an issue. (See my review of the corded DeWalt DW272 screw gun as a possible option.)

Everyday use on remidels. holds up great. would not use on large amounts of boards.

I have owned a DeWalt cordless drill/driver for almost 10 years now and this is probably the third (and best) set of drivers and bits that I have used during that time. First of all I would like to applaud DeWalt for obviously listening to all of us and redesigning the plastic case this kit is in. The previous design had a very weak hinge that split too easily. This kit has a much more stout case, a strong hinge, and a better designed closure that feels like it will stand up for a while.

As for the driver bits, they are all made of the superior steel you would expect for this price. What I am most pleased with in this kit is the assortment of bits that is included. In the past half of the bits included seemed to be odd sizes or shapes that I rarely if ever used. With this set I finally have just the tools I need right where I need them. I especially love having the magnetic 'one-handed' screw guide included here.

Even though the price is a bit steep, go ahead and treat yourself to these - you won't regret it later.

The magnetic drill bit case with seath really let the one-hand drill procedure occur when repairing, securing or fastening. Ceilings, under desks, inside cabinets, and even computers ..I have not been able to work/live without mine. I am not sure what I would do with out this set. Yes I do I would not do much handy work or repairs.

I believe the circular saw combo kit is a very good machine.
Taking proper care of your circular is very important also.It can do wonders for you each time you start a new project. caring for your blades will make the cutting job a lot easier and smoothier too!

If you are looking for a package that can do it all this is the one for you. The battery life is great considering the power it puts out. This is not a toy but rather a very serious tool. You probably can spend less but you truly get what you pay for in this little black box. The hammerdrill capability is wonderful and I was a bit sceptic that I could actually have a cordless masonry tool that actually can do the job. The chuck tightens the bits with more power than I have ever seen. The bit never slips even in tough situations. Dewalt is a great name and they have raised the mark with this tool. It has enough power for the tough jobs without the big weight of going 24v.

I had a Micra on my keychain for over 4 years. It was so useful that even when I was on vacations and don't need my keys, I carried the Micra with me. Sadly, last month, I forgot to check it in with the luggages. Long story short, rather than waiting another hour to go thru security, I decided to part with my beloved Micra.

After I got back, I started to browse for a replacement, and I found out about the Squirt S4. I decided to try out the Storm color one after reading the reviews. It costed a little more than the Micra, but it has a much better design. My biggest complain about the Micra is that you have to open up the scissors to get to any of the other tools. The Squirt S4 solved this problem, and the only time I have to open it up is when I really need the scissors. The Squirt S4 is also a little shorter and has a more attractive shape and color. The Storm color does not look like the picture displayed on Amazon. It has a purple tint under the light which I think is the best of the 3 colors available. It would be nice if there is a natural stainless steel version without the color.

I am very happy with the replacement and didn't mind paying the extra money. Now if I could just remember to check it in next time I fly!

I have mixed feelings about this product. I gave it 5 stars because it is a top notch Leatherman product. The mixed review is whether it outpreforms the Leatherman Micra that it sort of replaces.
First, its just a tad shorter and a tad wider than the Micra. You won't notice the difference in your pocket.

Second, the reverse opening sissors is just as easy to open as the Micra. It has all the same tools, although they feel smaller they look like they handle the same set of screws. The bottle opener is a bit smaller but it still opens the lift top bottles just as well.

The tweezers do come completely out from the body of the knife which is good and bad. Good because they are easier to use, bad because they are easier to lose. On the other hand they are well integrated into the body of the knife with a small tab for removing them.

And on the Micra when I open it the tweezers always swing out whether I need them or not.

So its a toss between the two of them. So in general I'd have to go with price, and the older Micra is a few bucks cheaper.

Milwaukee makes the best tools out there. Quality, power, reliability. This drill/driver has all the power of a corded unit, without the cord. If the rest of their tools are any indication, this will last you well over 10 years.

I'm a Prop Master at a very busy regional theater. So when it came time to replace our old driver/drills, I needed something that could take some serious use and keep delivering. The driver/drill is the tool that gets used more than any other in the shop, so it had to be the best. After researching every 14.4V driver on the market, I bought 4 Milwaulkee 0511-21. I found that when drilling or driving screws it is great to be able to get your hand right behind the axis of the bit. You can't do that with a T-handle driver. You can even counter balance the normaly heavy endedness of the pistol grip by inserting the battery in backwards! This driver is incredibly durable and powerful. I was able to put sixteen 3/8" holes into 1/4" thick steel plate in no time and still go on to drive a pouch of screws! The new chargers will charge batteries and go on to keep a maintenance charge on them. I would recomend this tool to anyone.

I bought the Skil 2924 model which is similar to this one in terms of voltage (2.4) but has a four position twistable grip for hard-to-reach places, and a little torch on the front. I'm not a big tool guy, but this thing has been great - always reliable and easy to use, I'd recommend it to the home user who needs something simple and straightforward that gets the job done.

I've owned this cordless screwdriver for about 3 months now, and I've probably only used it 3 times. For someone who doesn't use tools too often, this is a fine tool. I've seen other cordless screwdrivers that have more options and attachments, but if you don't need those things then this is a great value. Its performance has been great, and it can save a ton of time compared to a manual screwdriver.

THIS COMPACT MAGNETIC DRIVE GUIDE WAS A GOOD ADDITION TO MY DEWALT TOOL. IT WORKS VERY EASILY. IT'S OF STURDY CONSTRUCTION.IT'S VERY HANDY AND SAVES TIME.

When driving screws, you normally slip off the screw on occasion, driving the drive bit into your project. Also, when your drive bit wears out, they are expensive to replace.

The magnetic drive guide solves those problems and another.
1) It uses short, cheap bits - so you spend less on replacement parts.
2) You can hold the outer barrel of the guide (it doesn't spin with the drill) so you can guide in long screws without the bit slipping off.
3) It's magnetic, so it holds screws. You can point your drill down, and the bit stays on.
4) The outer barrel makes using slotted screws more manageable (although I usually only use it to take them out and replace them with phillips screws).

I've been using them for the 10(?) years that they've been on the market. I've worn a few of them out, but I try and never drive a screw without one.

I first discovered these drive guides as part of a deck building pack offered by a local home center. That was at least eight years ago and I have been using these ever since. They do what they are designed to do - allow you to drive screws one handed. I have had great success driving every length of screw up to and including 4" with this driver and my 9.6V DeWalt cordless drill. I have never worn one of these out while using it for its designed purpose, but when I used it in a pinch to drive hundreds of metal barn siding fasteners (I removed the bit and was using the guide as a socket drive) the end mushroomed out and lost its shape.

In the end, when you are on the end of a tall ladder and you would rather be holding onto the ladder than holding onto the screw so you can drive it, this is the tool for you. Also, if you will be driving a lot of screws in wood and you don't want the skin of your fingertips worn off as you steady each screw for driving, buy one of these!

I have been doing a lot of work that requires me to drill holes and then use my drill as a screwdriver. This little gadget makes me tremendously efficient. I just pop the drill bit in and I'm ready to work. It cut my time by about 75%. Well worth the money.
