If you need a bit not in this set, you're probably up to no good.
Case is great, with real metal latches. Buy this.

Firstly, not many of the manufacturers' plastic tool cases are worth a darn. Slots don't hold the parts, etc. But with this kit, a whole different story! Whether you open the kit inverted or correctly (label up), each tool remains in its appropriate slot. Secondly, everything you could ask for in reference to your cordless is contained within this impressive kit. Whether your gun is Porter Cable, DeWalt, Makita, Hitachi... you will not find a better kit for the price. This product is well worth owning.

Excellent set for the contractor! Be carefull removing the smaller cobalt hex shank bits. I snapped the 1/16" one right off. But it was replaced for me by DeWalt without incident! Good Quality bits though!

I had purchased this item for a friend who says he is extremely happy with it.

I'm sure Irwin tools are great products. I own many Irwin tools including the starter Bolt Grip set. However the problem I am encountering is the Expansion set is apparently not available. I ordered this set back in Aug. I'm still waiting. So before you try to order this set, make sure you don't need it any time soon.

Try and try with other tools that never work...and then use one of these!! Great value for the price. Buy the original five piece set and then add this expansion set for more versatility.....one stuck bolt will never stop your work again!!

I took the full advantage of this set. I changed my battery of my ugly car. Last week, I install a maxtor drive at my computer. This set has all tools you need in a home

We used these in atmospheric lamps. The lamps were made out of paper made from plants that grow regionally. They were exactly what we needed to add a soft light to the pieces.

This is the best of the Dewalt Rapid Load sets or of any other manufacturer. Unlike other brands, the Dewalt collar is spring-loaded so that you don't have to pull back the collar to insert a bit--like all the other ones force you to do. This is the best set because 1) it has a sturdy case that will organize most full-length hex-shank bits and 2) it doesn't include those useless magnetic-tip bits which you probably already have too many of anyway. To me, there's no point of putting a magnetic bit into a Rapid Load. The whole point of a Rapid Load is that it's NOT magnetic and holds the bits mechanically (they don't fall out). My only complaint is that the case doesn't hold some of my largest/longest bits.

These wrenches, with the flex head, can get at nuts and bolts that no other tool can touch. I've had mine for over a year. There have been many occasions when without them I would have had to remove another part or two just to get at whatever nut or bolt one of these wrenches can get at and turn quickly and easily.

When I bought them I was concerned that the flex heads might present a problem when applying torque to these wrenches (that they might cause the wrench and your hand to slip), but that hasn't been the case. While the ratcheting head flips back and forth, it is precisely fitted and has a tension adjustment that can be performed with an hex key (though I've never need to adjust mine).

The wrenches do, however, carry a disclaimer that they are precision tools not meant for the application of high amounts of torque. Using them in this way can void the manufacturer's lifetime warranty. I'm sure this limitation on torque is meant to apply only to the ratcheting end, and it is my experience that you can safely apply at least 30 to 40 ft. lbs. of torque with the ratcheting end.

These wrenches are of all-steel construction and do not feel the least bit cheap. They are made in Taiwan, but they are made for the Danaher Tool Group and distributed by KD tools, which is a division of Snap On tools (the top name in mechanic's tools). So I'm pretty sure that they are made to the highest standards.

There are different SAE and Metric sets, but this twelve-piece set is the most complete metric set I've found. I started with a seven-piece, and now I'm on to the 12 piece.

There isn't a mechanic around that wouldn't love a set, whether he (or she) knows it or not! I can give them 5 stars without reservation.

I picked up one of these recently after seeing them for $25 on sale at the hardware store. I personally won't carry it on my belt but the clip works great for my tool bench. This is just the right size for powertool and appliance repair (in other words it saved my behind in the kitchen).

I needed a set of cheap sockets for work....I have nice name brand wrenches and sockets but needed a small set of sockets and wrenches that I could afford to abuse or lose...or get stolen by some of the slackjaw sobs I work with.....

This set of 20.00 sockets and ratchet is a very nice set....lifetime warranty...fully polished nice looking ratchet...the plastic socket and ratchet holder is nice to...I can carry this in my maintenance tool bag without taking up a lot of space or hang it on the side with a wire tie. The ratchet feels professional...as good as any SK I own....better than craftsman....lot better than kobalt which is supposedly made by snap on.

Its a good socket set for anyone needing something to have around or for someone like me who will likely use it on a daily basis....not for heavy duty work...but for everyday work.

I used it tonight in conjunction with a great neck set of fully polished box end wrenches that I purchased along with the socket set and they both performed well tightening and loosening several sizes of nut and bolt combinations...

The tools are top notched, but that is only half of it. The case is well organized and easy to snap the sockets in-and-out.

Over the years I have had many tool sets - especially socket sets. There's a reason for that - sockets easily fall out of the case when you open them and it is hard to keep things organized. Not so with this set. Each tool is secure in its own place - no falling out and getting lost. In addition the quality of the tools seems excellent. With both SAE and metric sizes this is a really nice set and the price is right.

I decided to purchase a real socket wrench set after I knocked my 15 year old cheep-o set on the floor one too many times - and got tired of putting everything back in the case.

First let me say that this case is designed so that WHEN you knock this set on the ground all the sockets stay in place. Second, this set is very well made and thought out. (For instance the metric and standard allen wrenches are different colors - so you can tell them apart at a glance.) These wrenches fit the hand just right and are a pleasure to use.

I highly recommend them.
