Tool Sets Review Phillips heads are not small enough
I have some electronic equipment I was trying to disassemble, and I was disappointed that the phillips heads were not "precise" enough. The set should be adequate for most purposes, but if you are looking for very small phillips heads, they aren't here. But to be fair, I don't think other offerings are any better.

Tool Sets Review Are your screwdrivers too big?
The Craftsman small screwdriver set is for everyone. It is handy and comes in a convenient little case. It uses are endless and for the price I think it should be a staple of any man's tool set.

From watches and glasses to those small screws on computers there is a screwdriver in this set that will fit. It is reasonably priced and remarkably convenient. I highly recommend making this a part of everyone's household.

Tool Sets Review A nice set and a must-have for any workshop or toolbox.
You may not need these types of screwdrivers often, but when you do need them, nothing else will do. They're great for tightening eyeglass screws or opening up the cases of small electronic devices.

This is a nice set. It comes with 4 slotted and 2 philips style in a variety of sizes. They seem to be well made and I suspect that they last a long time. The swivel heads allow you to put downward pressure on the screwdriver as you turn it to minimize the risk of stripping the head on delicate small screws. The case has a labeled space for each screwdriver. It's your typical plastic case with a snap top and should hold up as long as you don't step on it or drop something on it. This set is a nice value for the price.

Tool Sets Review Not Just a Gimmick
Stanley has introduced a number of FatMax tools in the last few years. Frankly, I think some of the FatMax tools are just marketing gimmicks, but the screwdrivers are some of the best I've ever used. What makes these screwdrivers special is the tri-lobe grip (FatMax grip) which makes them easier to grip and easier to apply torque. You can buy cheaper screwdrivers at your local hardware store and they are likely to have simple round or square handles. I have many of these ... screw drivers which I now use for opening paint cans. The FatMax screwdrivers are so much more comfortable that I will search my shop for one before I'll resort to using a cheapy screwdriver. The tri-lobe handle design has been in the Stanley product line for over 15 years and I would say that it is as important an innovation as some of the stuff Stanley did with hand planes over a hundred years ago.

Tool Sets Review The First set of Screwdrivers I've ever bought
Previous to buying the Stanley 6pc. FatMax Screwdriver Set I had used everything from a coin (quarters were a favorite) to a nail file or a knife for my screwdriving needs. Once in a while I'd buy a cheap supermarket screwdriver which survived only one or two uses before it self-destructed. Well those days are over. Now I can hold my head high when someone asks to borrow a screwdriver or when I have to use one in my home for I know that this new set will not disentegrate after a couple of uses. I've used most of the six in this set and not only have they NOT self-destructed but they exhibit a glossy, high-tech look what with the chubby black handles and black tips. This is a great set for anyone who has spent a lot of money over the years on cheap screwdrivers and/or is tired of breaking off the tips of their expensive Henkel knives. This set would make a great Christmas gift for the tool-impaired man or woman in your life.

Tool Sets Review Useful
I bought this as a gift for my wife who doubted she would ever use it...until the need arose. Then she was most pleased. She finds the tools more comfortable to hold and easier to use than my heavier tools. She appreciates the assortment of "odds and ends" which she, in the past, has been searching for. She was pleased with the "multiple use" tools. She has decided to keep it handy to where she can easily find it for little repair jobs....I still have the bigger ones given to me. Thus, though ordering was difficult, the final product was worth it.

Tool Sets Review About time!!!!
I was looking for a tool set that I could have as mine, my husband is a mechanic and trying to use his tools is a nightmare. So I wanted my own set, but I wanted something that he would not use and "missplace" to his tool box. I received these and Love them. They are the perfect size for a female hand and they are not to heavy to tire you out while your are using them around the house. The design is pretty inovative too. The only thing I wish was different was the case. Everything is laid out nicely, but you have to remove items first to get to some of the tools that you might need. Otherwise this set is wonderful. I liked it so much I went on to purchase the power drill and cordless screwdriver. Now I just have to figure out a way for my husband to leave them alone!!!!! It's about time someone had this idea for women!!!!!!!

Tool Sets Review good set
This is a good tool set. It does not compare with SK, but is worth the 56 dollars I spent for it at Costco.

Tool Sets Review Best Kit Ever!
Being a farmer, I need a good set of tools that is easy to carry with me everywhere I go and has what I need in it so I don't have to drive back to the shop to get it. This set has it all! Of all the sets I have owned over the years, this Crescent set has been tha absolute best. I have used it to build a carousel, fix the tractors, adjust the doors in our market, you name it. All if the tools inside cover all the bases. I highly recommend it!!

Tool Sets Review Works as expected...
Everything worked as I had expected so no complaints on how any of the pieces performed. My only complaint, however, is that in all of these little sets they give you a ton of little cut off discs.... why not just say something has "10 items, plus a freakin' load of cut-off discs you'll probably never use".

Tool Sets Review Nice little set...
Recieved this dremel set for christmas. At first, other than the sanding drums, I thought it was for metal working only. However I have found that the burr tools do a real nice job carving on wood. They don't load up as I thought they would and with a light touch they don't "burn" the wood. Very nice for undercutting profiles and shaping small knobs. These are a very useful addition to my dremel arsenal and will get a lot of use.
Highly recommend.

Tool Sets Review Good Product
This is a great product and offers you piece of mind when drill those dowel holes. I agree with the other review though; I wouldn't have minded paying a touch more for a case to keep them organized. The bore size seems to be correct. I've only used two of them so far. They slid on very well, demonstarting to me that they were manufactured to within a set of very high standards. They locked on very well and have never slid out of position while working with them.

Tool Sets Review bobby b
They work like they're supposed to. Bore size is good, not too much tightening required. Set screw stays tight. Appear to be bullit-proof & american made to boot. I would like to see them come with a case though & wouldn't mind paying another buck or two for it.

Grizzly G9787 4 PC. Caliper, Micrometer, Combination Square Set
Made by Grizzly

Tool Sets Review Not bad for the price
This set is definitely a big step up in quality from working with a square and a tape measure, but has a couple of drawbacks. All the pieces arrive individually wrapped, most packed in oil to avoid corrosion, and appear generally to be of pretty good quality. The ruler measures as finely as 1/64'th of an inch, but you'll be better off using the caliper (which, along with the micrometer, works great) for fine measurements. While I am mostly happy with the set, I have one minor and one major complaint. The minor issue is that attaching the square beam, protractor beam, and center-finding beam to the ruler is rather finicky and time consuming -- it takes me several minutes to swap something out. The more serious issue is that the protractor beam, in spite of have a pair of locking screws to hold the angle, 1) doesn't hold the angle even when locked and 2) doesn't rotate smoothly when unlocked - it grates. Nevertheless I'm reasonably happy with the set for the price, and have managed some rather fine work using it. I'll be curious to see whether corrosion becomes a problem over time.

Tool Sets Review Very nice set.
The caliper: excellent. Measures outside, inside and depth, locks to act as a gauge. Ditto for micrometer, though I don't really use it that much.

The combination square sees use almost constantly. The rule is very nice. Markings are etched and easy to read. All heads have very smooth faces, and a confidence-inspiring heft. Center head, in addition to its main purpose, also makes and excellent saddle square. Unlike with other reviewer, my protractor head rotates smoothly when screws are loosened, and holds tight when tightened.
Attaching the heads to the rule IS a bit finicky at first, since one has to hold the screw just so in order to align the tab that goes into rule's groove - but after a bit of use, you develop a 'feel' for it.

Tool Sets Review Panel clamp review
This is a high quality and well-made tool that does what it says and does it well. The one drawback is the lack of a mechanism to easily release the clamp from the panel. I would suggest putting some small pull wires or other device onto the gripping jaws so they could be opened easily to release the panel.

Tool Sets Review Gross Stabil KFP Panel Set
We found these handles to be a great design. We moved 5 drywall panels that were 5/8" X 4' X 12' from our garage to our basement. They made each trip so much easier. We also moved 9 - 1/2" X 4' X 12' panels. Without them we could have never moved that many panels around the outside of our house to the downstairs. Thank You

Tool Sets Review These are a great value for the money
I picked these up at a local hardware store and have been generally pleased with the purchase. They are pretty decent quality for a surprisingly low price. The cutting action is fairly clean with the usual tearout expected from this type of bit. Of course they are just spade bits, best suited to rough carpentry and home improvement tasks - but many times even us woodworkers don't want or need to use a forstner bit! I haven't had need to use every bit in this kit yet, but I was impressed with the array Irwin includes here. For the price I paid, I probably won't bother resharpening when the time comes.

By the way, shop around! I paid less than half the price shown here for the exact same set.

Tool Sets Review Great product at a great price
Nice job Irwin. These bores are fantastic. I've used them with my Milwaukee cordless and they do a great job. I've used them when cutting holes for electrical cords in furniture that did not have them, and for desks that I needed to run keyboard and mice cables through the top. They cut a perfect diameter hole in whatever you need them to. So far, they have not needed resharpening, and I've used the 1 inch piece at least 20 times. Very well made.
