Tool Sets Review Good for minor jobs
Has 20 screwdriver tips and the sockets and allen wrenches are both inch and metric. That was a nice surprise, but the hammer is about half-size, which will give you an idea of the size of the other tools. The biggest issue I have is that the screwdriver handle is hollow plastic. It's a shame to have all those screw driver tips and no decent handle to use them with. My advice, if you're planning to do more than small jobs, better shop elsewhere.

Tool Sets Review solid tool set
Good tool set, looks to be geared for cars. Would rate more highly if it had screwdrivers.

Tool Sets Review Great Buy
Bought this for my son in an apartment. This was great!

Tool Sets Review Not Happy
At first this vacuum seemed like a good deal if you can handle the noise. I've had this for 4 months now and the filters are a real pain to clean. Now the dirt is blowing out of the bottom and the filters are clean. It is going back.

Tool Sets Review Not really what I expected.
I had owned a bagless fantom vac until it died after less than a year so I guess I am comparing this vac to the fantom (when it was new). I went to a bag vac because the bad fantom experience had me scared. I was suprised at how cheap this vac feels. It seems to be about 95% plastic (these days what isn't?) so I hope it holds up. Assembly was easy. Seems to have good sucking power through the beater brush but the brush continues to rotate when using the hose wand. It will make it hard to vac out my car outside. Hose wand doesn't seem to have as much power as it could. The vac is very loud. If I had it to do over again I would at least go to a store that carries the model or similar models so I could have gotten a feel for the vac and its features before I bought. I mainly bought the vac on reviews at this site, which were helpful but it's still good to get some hands on experience before you buy. If I had done that I may have decided to spend a little extra for something more heavy duty.

Tool Sets Review Hoover Widepath review
This vacuum cleaner picks up everything! I have a yellow lab that sheds and after I've vacuumed you would never know I had a dog. The only problems I have with it are that it is LOUD. Hope you don't have any sleeping babies. And the onboard cleaning tools dont always stay onboard (minor detail, I know). But all in all, it's a good vacuum cleaner!

Tool Sets Review Mike "The Siding Crew"
We use the other siding clips that are available and at first I was not impressed, but now we really can't live without them. Just yesterday two of us put up about 300 SQ FT in about 2 1/2 hours. We cover 2500 SQ FT of wall space in about 6 working days, much quicker than before. This new item will be surely worth looking into

Tool Sets Review FCMS overlap guage set is great!
Fiber cement lap siding can be tedious. This guage system greatly simplifies it. I recently installed 1000,s of square feet of it on a recently constructed H#@ters restaraunt. It made a grueling job go a lot better.

Tool Sets Review Great tool but confusing marketing
I work alone most of the time. I purchased a set (thats 2 identical items) of the metal fixture (whatever it's name is.. overlap guage or facing guage) I do not own the plastic device. I use the 2 guages with hardiplank. The Hardiplank itself sets the overlap; 5-1/4" Hardiplank is used for 4" siding reveal, 6-1/4" Hardiplank for 5" reveal, and so on. The fixtures I purchased are indispensible if you work alone. The 12' Hardiplanks are heavy and, for lack of a better word, "floppy". The fixtures make quick work of putting them up. This is a must have tool if even if you are only doing your house BUT buy two of the metal fixtures and buy the right width hardiplank to get the reveal you need. Hint: Check the reveal every 2nd or third Hardiplank because as good as the fixtures are they are not perfect and an error can accumulate.

Tool Sets Review poor chuck
I found that the chuck loosens itself during hammer drill operation, requiring frequent retightening. Personally, I would say the keyless chuck is not worth the extra money. The drill itself seems fine, and I wish I had the normal chuck.

Tool Sets Review What was I thinking?
I am a DIYer out of the home that needed a hammerdrill for projects in my basement and brick exterior. I bought this as I thought Milwaukee was "THE" tool company. My friend was helping with some tapcon anchors in the basement and was using my very expensive hammerdrill. He criticized it's lack of power and laughed a bit. Came back a few minutes later with a Dewalt hammerdrill. Big difference - much lighter, faster and it doesn;t look so archaic. I returned the milwaukee and just borrow my friends drill now. I did some checking - the Dewalt is cheaper anyways.

Tool Sets Review Great
I have used this drill on numerous occations and have yet to be discoraged with it's preformance. It is a small yet sturdy drill for: wood, brick, block, and metal. My employer supplies this drill to my coworkers also. I would buy this drill for at home use due to it's many applications.

Tool Sets Review Nice Machine, But!
When received, the air nozzle was broken where it enters the machine.
Sent for another.
Had to take half the machine apart to re-install the new one.
When I did,, I discoverd a kinked air supply tube, obviously at the original assembly.
Sent for another plus a new bellows which was not in good shape.
Replaced everything and now the machine is operating OK.
I was able to do this because I was a toolmaker for fifty years.
Someone without my skills would have been lost and probably sent the machine back.
I think there should be a better QC on the units BEFORE they go out!
Mine would never have supplied any air....

Tool Sets Review The Best Scroll Saw for the Money!!!
I recently bought this saw after a great deal of research. I have been very impressed with the quality of the construction and the amount of power in this tool. The location of the controls and the low vibration level make this saw very easy to use. I have made several mini sculptures requiring compound cuts and I have been amazed at the results. I am very pleased with this saw and would recommend it to anyone from novice to expert. I don't believe anything can be done on a more expensive unit that cannot be done just as well on this unit. You will not be disappointed with this saw!!! Buy one today!!!

Tool Sets Review A great saw for the money
I know there are better scroll saws available but ...this is a honey.

You can carry the saw by the handle on the upper arm making it easy to lug around as a portable saw if need be.

The vibration level is quite low. I routinely have a glass of ice tea setting on my home made wooden scroll saw table and there is barely ever a ripple in my tea except when the saw speed is changed either up or down.

I have cut wood from 1/8" to 1 1/2" thick with no problems. I made a jig to saw 1/2" strips of wood and it did a great job. You are not supposed to be able to do this but with this saw and Olsen blades you have a winning combination.

The saw is shipped with a lot of oil or grease on the work table and blade holders and will need a bit of cleaning up before use but it is a fine tool.

Tool Sets Review You get what you pay for!
For the price you are paying, this toolset is a bargain. However the tools themselves and the contruction of the metal box leave little to be desired. My initial impression of the product was satisfactory until I tried to take the tools out its molded plastic holder. The molds were made a little too small that when I succeeded pulling any of the tools out, the plastic mold was deformed visibly. Also when the socket wrench was a little tight fitting and when I attempted to pull socket out it ended up bending a metal washer inside the rotating portion of wrench. Bottom line is this. For the price you're paying, you will get exactly what you pay for. Luckily comes with a lifetime warranty so if you break something you can get it replaced. If you're a penny pincher then this maybe a tool set for you but if you're looking for a high quality tool set I would recommend you go with a brand name (Craftman, Stanley, etc.)

Tool Sets Review Perfect around the house.
If you are looking for that great around the house tool kit that everyone needs but never has. This is it. It has all the essential tools, so you will never have to search for a tool again.

Tool Sets Review Pretty good.
I like the tool set and all the items that came with it. I have only one complaint, I've only had it for about two weeks and one of the clips on the front side of the box has broken through the housing of the down bracing lock showing poor manufacturing. I'm not picky about tools but I think anyone thinking about buying this item should know about it.

Tool Sets Review Far too agressive!!!
These bits were fine for utility work but when used for any finish work.. (i.e. mounting hardware or trying to drill w/o going all the way through) they are too hungry for the wood. The larger bits don't actually drill through the wood so much as drill into it like a screw. Even when being extra careful to apply light pressure the drill was twisted out of my hand as the bit tore through my workpiece. while drilling through some Maple Plywood drawer fronts the bit pulled the workpiece up off the table and out of my hand leaving a large chipped out area of veneer on the face of my piece. I also wasn't impressed with the pilot point, the bit still walked. Nothing beats an awl or center punch for accurate drilling

Tool Sets Review decent set
This is another item bought with a 100.00 gift certificate from work....

I occasionally need to drill a hole at work...1 and 1/8 th inch holes and below I normally use unibits but occasionally I need to drill a hole thru thicker metal or wood or plastic and so I need a bit that will drill thru thicker materials without making a stepped hole like a unibit does.

I have many loose drill bits at work/home but decided I need a decent cased set of som common sizes. These dewalt cased sets are nice and when I break or wear out a bit I can just replace the bit and have a nice case to put it in.

Im not sure about how the little pilot point bits will work, never have used them before but when they do break I will replace them with 135 degree split point bits of good quality.

I had a set cased set like this before...though not the pilot points and it held up great till someone at work either lost or stole the set....

Tool Sets Review good product, but you wait forever
The replacement blades are fantastic. One major note of caution: If you are counting onthe blades for your line of work (as I do) be prepared to order months in advance of needing them. For some reason, Amazon can not get these out to the public in a short amount of time.

Tool Sets Review Reply to "am I missing something"
I just recieved my order for the 10 piece set of carbide blades for the metabo paint remover. Yes, there were actually 10 blades in this set as stated. Ignore "am I missing something". His or her response is solely based on the picture showing only 3 blades. People shouldn't write reviews who don't know the facts!

Tool Sets Review The Metabo works great! However, you will need extra blades
I bought a Metabo to strip 8 layers of paint from all of the moulding and window frames in my 1912 home. After using the tool for the first time I got rid of both of my heatguns. I didn't need them anymore, the Metabo could take care of everything. The price tag is really steep, but it has paid for itself in saved labor time.

Tool Sets Review Very Practical!
These were great, and inexpensive! Just what I ordered and have suited all my food storage purposes. I would have ordered a higher quality set, if I could have found one, but these worked fine for what I needed (come on it's tupperware, right?)

I should point out that I would not buy these again for my wife as a Christmas present. She made note of the lack of romance in this as a gift.

Tool Sets Review You won't break a nail trying to open these lids!
If you don't want to spend a small fortune on Tupperware, and you only want a small set of food storage containers, these will do. If you are looking for containers which will stack nicely, these are OK! Tupperware is better for kitchen cupboard storage. These are handy for keeping leftovers in the refrigerator.

Tool Sets Review Nice set for the price . . .
I've been a long-time fan of Rubbermaid kitchen storage products as a more reasonably-priced version of Tupperware (which is good quality, but not worth the high price). This particular Rubbermaid set is quite nice, including 2 small and one large oblongs; one small and one large squares; one small, two medium, and one large bowls, and one divided oblong dish, each with its own royal-blue "E-Z Topp" lid.

The E-Z Topp lids make removal of the lids a breeze, especially for someone with arthritis (or with a manicure they'd rather not endanger). The "flap" is easy to grasp and large enough to get some real leverage.

I've purchased each of these separately at the grocery store and occasionally at discount stores, usually paying on average (...) or so per item. So 10 items for [the price] is a considerable savings.

My only complaint is that these will stain if you store tomato-based sauces/casseroles/etc. in them. This isn't just a problem with Rubbermaid -- virtually all plastic containers will stain. (One trick I've learned is to coat the interior of the container with a *thin* film of solid shortening [like Crisco] before adding the tomato-based food. This seems to *almost* eliminate the stain.) They also show signs of wear over the years, but then again, what *doesn't* show signs of wear?

One other caveat -- be careful in the dishwasher. Don't use high heat for drying, or you'll end up with lids that will never fit their respective bases again! If you want to use heated drying (for your other dishes), just remove these before the drying cycle starts. If a piece inadvertantly gets only slightly warped, just run very hot tap water over it, and pair the warped piece with a non-warped lid or bowl -- it'll recover its original shape quickly.

For its intended purpose, you can't go wrong with this set.

Tool Sets Review Dado insert doesn't fit
I purchased the insert with certainty from both Amazon.com and Delta that this is the right insert for my saw. There is only one problem, it is too large to fit in the saw. It is approximately 1/4" too long. In comparing it with the insert that came with the saw it is visibly larger. The only solution appears to be to grind it down as other reviewers have noted on the insert for the 8" Dado sets. While it can be done, it is disappointing for something that should simply drop in.

Tool Sets Review does what it says...but
it does what it is suppose to do. but, i regret my purchase. if you have some 1/2" stock laying around make your own and save the money. either jig saw or use a router and trim bit and make a copy of your original insert. get some set screws, tap the holes(for leveling) and you are set. i made mine in about 5 minutes out of mdf. works great and i can make more for different size dado setups.

Tool Sets Review Its an insert.
What can I say? I laughed. I cried. I cut dados.
