I purchased this chalk box thinking that it was a good buy from a good company. I haven't had any other problems with other tools from Stanley, this was a lemon! Chalk doesn't rewind easily, and gets tangled regularly. The biggest pain is being a fulltime construction worker, it sits in my tool belt all day... and lets out chalk like somebody opened a faucet! Do not buy this chalk line for anything! I have since replaced it with a Irwin chalk box, and have been much happier. Stay away from this lemon!

Irwin owns Vise Grip. I expected to receive a set of Vise Grip labeled Unibits, but instead I received Irwin labelled Unibits. What is the difference? I expect to receive items as advertised, not substituted with a different brand name. The name and picture says Vise Grip, not Irwin. This is misleading.

GM own Chevy. If I go into a Chevy dealership and order a custom Chevy pickup, I don't expect to receive a GM pickup.

The ladder was ordered on June 23rd. It was supposed to ship in one week. They keep sending emails that it's delayed. It's now July 27th and I've been forced to find it at another retailer.

I got this set thinking it would be nice to have for small jobs. by the end of the first year I ended up throwing out the kit because 90% of the tools broke. All of the the phillips screw drivers actually became stripped from the screws and not the other way around, and while the other flat screws were to large to use for anything. The head of the hammer fell off after the first day of use. the pliers are extremely thin and bent while trying to use it. the ratchet never stays on the setting you put it at (tighten/loosen). The socket wrenches are all slightly off in size so the one you want is either to tight or to loose. And to top things off, none of the pieces stay in the case when you open it, they will usually fall everywhere because the case is made of a very soft plastic. these tools caused more trouble then anything, and it is surprising that a set which every single piece fails could be on the market. you don't have to spend more money on a set, just get one that is reliable.
