These wrenches, with the flex head, can get at nuts and bolts that no other tool can touch. I've had mine for over a year. There have been many occasions when without them I would have had to remove another part or two just to get at whatever nut or bolt one of these wrenches can get at and turn quickly and easily.

When I bought them I was concerned that the flex heads might present a problem when applying torque to these wrenches (that they might cause the wrench and your hand to slip), but that hasn't been the case. While the ratcheting head flips back and forth, it is precisely fitted and has a tension adjustment that can be performed with an hex key (though I've never need to adjust mine).

The wrenches do, however, carry a disclaimer that they are precision tools not meant for the application of high amounts of torque. Using them in this way can void the manufacturer's lifetime warranty. I'm sure this limitation on torque is meant to apply only to the ratcheting end, and it is my experience that you can safely apply at least 30 to 40 ft. lbs. of torque with the ratcheting end.

These wrenches are of all-steel construction and do not feel the least bit cheap. They are made in Taiwan, but they are made for the Danaher Tool Group and distributed by KD tools, which is a division of Snap On tools (the top name in mechanic's tools). So I'm pretty sure that they are made to the highest standards.

There are different SAE and Metric sets, but this twelve-piece set is the most complete metric set I've found. I started with a seven-piece, and now I'm on to the 12 piece.

There isn't a mechanic around that wouldn't love a set, whether he (or she) knows it or not! I can give them 5 stars without reservation.

I picked up one of these recently after seeing them for $25 on sale at the hardware store. I personally won't carry it on my belt but the clip works great for my tool bench. This is just the right size for powertool and appliance repair (in other words it saved my behind in the kitchen).

I needed a set of cheap sockets for work....I have nice name brand wrenches and sockets but needed a small set of sockets and wrenches that I could afford to abuse or lose...or get stolen by some of the slackjaw sobs I work with.....

This set of 20.00 sockets and ratchet is a very nice set....lifetime warranty...fully polished nice looking ratchet...the plastic socket and ratchet holder is nice to...I can carry this in my maintenance tool bag without taking up a lot of space or hang it on the side with a wire tie. The ratchet feels professional...as good as any SK I own....better than craftsman....lot better than kobalt which is supposedly made by snap on.

Its a good socket set for anyone needing something to have around or for someone like me who will likely use it on a daily basis....not for heavy duty work...but for everyday work.

I used it tonight in conjunction with a great neck set of fully polished box end wrenches that I purchased along with the socket set and they both performed well tightening and loosening several sizes of nut and bolt combinations...

Being a plumber and mechanical foreman, I need strong sturdy tools. This is the set to buy. S&K is one of the best brands on the market. My last set is still in tack and is over 15 years old. If you are looking for a dependable combo set than this is the one to buy. They are comfortable to use. And the sizes are the most common for all purpose task. This item gets a 10 on my scale.

The tools are top notched, but that is only half of it. The case is well organized and easy to snap the sockets in-and-out.

Over the years I have had many tool sets - especially socket sets. There's a reason for that - sockets easily fall out of the case when you open them and it is hard to keep things organized. Not so with this set. Each tool is secure in its own place - no falling out and getting lost. In addition the quality of the tools seems excellent. With both SAE and metric sizes this is a really nice set and the price is right.

I decided to purchase a real socket wrench set after I knocked my 15 year old cheep-o set on the floor one too many times - and got tired of putting everything back in the case.

First let me say that this case is designed so that WHEN you knock this set on the ground all the sockets stay in place. Second, this set is very well made and thought out. (For instance the metric and standard allen wrenches are different colors - so you can tell them apart at a glance.) These wrenches fit the hand just right and are a pleasure to use.

I highly recommend them.

Olympia Socket Set is great simplified tool for all tasks. Like it & its very cheap.

For the price, these sets are hard to beat, good for minor roadside repairs and fix it jobs around the house. My only regret is I bought two of these, and both sets came with the cases cracked and un-useable. If I wanted to cary them around in a tupper ware container I would have bought one at the same time. But as I said, for the money, a great buy!

Whether you're that independent woman, or are looking for gifts for her, this one is a winner! A combination of the carrying/storage case, the tools themselves and the price, make it a great additional gift for mom, sister, girlfriend, or wife if they like to work a little around the house.

These days I put together furniture myself, tighten bicycle training wheels and do very limited work around the house. I call most tools 'thing a ma doodles', but owning these makes me realize why men like tools so much - the right tools make a task much easier.

It comes with 35 electrical terminals and 100 fasteners as part of the kit. So it really comes with 99 tools and the box.

It was inexpensive and if you're not looking to do a lot of repair work on your car, it's probably a good buy for you. Something to keep in your trunk. I can tell already though from looking at this, that I'm going to want to get REAL set elsewhere. For basic maintenance work this set will do.

I'm buying my first car and figured that I will need a tool kit. This has to be the best bang for the buck. Looks like it has everything for moderate engine tuneup job. A torque wrench would be nice though. Overall this is a good toolkit to have in your car should the unexpected happen. Besides you can never go wrong with having a toolkit in your car anyway.

This tool is definetly a life save if you ever need to tighten nuts. This will work when other ratchet and socket combination are not long enough. This tool has two major draw backs is the sockets are stubby preventing you from working in tight spaces and finding individual sockets for replacements is difficult.

I got myself into some serious trouble trying to take the head off of my small block Chevy. I thought I would have no choice but to tap and ream it... but I saw this item... figured I would try it, and MAN was I glad I did! Worked like a charm, and saved me a few hundred bucks!
