Waste of money
<Right idea now improve it > 1st.-Heavy duty built to last.
2nd.-Price not bad because heavy built, and safety item.
3rd.-Right idea just needs improvement.
Now the down side. Received item, went out into saw shop, raised blade guard, placed Blade Loc over blade held down on loc & tried to loosen arbor nut only to have blade slip and rotate inside loc.
Let's Fess Up, How have we been changing blades?I am sure their are as many ingenious ways, people have come up with locking the blade, as their are different types of blades.
So now here comes Bench Dog, with an ideal solution. Why not make a hard plastic holder, that sits on top of the blade, protecting you, and the blade in one step. It holds the blade both ways, and still allows you to use a wrench on the locking nut. Bench Dog wins a lot of awards, for their superior engineering. Ok, so it is made out of plastic. I don't know what else would do, surely not metal, against metal carbide teeth. I'm glad to give them most of the purchase price for the design, and leave a little left over for the cost of the material.
This Blade Loc is ideal for blade changes. Highly recommended for your safety, and the blades.

Works great (Norm Abrams has one)I was tickled to see Norm Abrams using a similar HVLP on The New Yankee Workshop two weeks after I bought mine.
Good little sprayer.First, I haven't had any clogging problems. Cleanup takes a bit longer than normal, but it's not bad.
Second, this unit is not as loud as advertised. In my garage, with the doors open, it's not bad, and I haven't felt the need for earplugs. It is not as loud as my shopvac.
Third, the overspray problem that some have complained about, does not seem to be a problem for me.
I was surprised by the heat buildup in the spray gun and hose... the low pressure air is very warm, but it is not a real problem.
The only negative I can offer, is that the coverage rate is a little slower than I expected.
I think this is a great sprayer for the money.

Works for me...
Great for flat surfaces
Great useful tool It is a great tool for stripping trim pieces.Light and easy to hold. With some training
considering that your hands grow from a right place :), oneself can strip inner trim pieces even less that 1inch wide.
Vacuum hose.... Well it is a drag to use when on heights.
Just cover the area well(plastic is cheap)and wear good respirator, goggles and body protection.
Tool can work all ways and with some getting use to u can strip even warped wood using those side blades that many loathing here.
Just open one of the doors and get into the warped part under some angle get to the wood and then put the tool flat again.
Works for me....
Very light tool so hands are not getting tired much.
As about doors they are not as flimsy if oneself paying enough attention when to open and close them.
Hopefully most of the people here have an IQ higher than Mr.
President so there should be no problem.
I just love that tool. It is German engeneering all the way and made in GERMANY unlike Bosh, Ridgid and other profit hungry brands.

Consider other brand
tom; carpenter
Only rating it against my other screw gunsI recently got this 14.4 impact and have loved using it. It's lighter than the 18 volt I'm used to and easy to handle. It drives long screws no problem. There are no dials to turn, no speeds to set and the battery seems to last a long time. I've used it for setting electrical finish, which takes a light touch, to drilling holes in stucco with a masonary bit (doing what I normally would have used the "hammer drill" function for).
I do know carpenters that swear by the Makita impact driver, so I can't compare brand to brand, but if you've always used a normal driver drill and haven't yet tried out the impact driver, you're in for a treat. It really does a much better job.
And to think, I used a Yankee back in the day, and I'm not that old,,,,,well ok, I'm pushing forty, but still, I cut my teeth with a Yankee screwdriver,,,,,how far things have come.
