Heaters Review Do not ever buy from these people
Do not ever buy from these people. I had a problem with my purchase. I left them 5 messages to buying partners and never heard back from them. Amazon is not helping me to resolve the issue either.

Heaters Review Noise but not much heat.
This thing is fairly small. It is also fairly noisy. The worst part is that it doesn't put out much heat and it takes about as long to get warmed up as my vehicle. So it kind makes it useless.

        Heaters Review Don't buy it!
I bought one in November 2004. Last week while I was in the room, carefully monitoring it, it started throwing sparks for no reason. I'm lucky that I was nearby to turn it off & unplug it or my home would have caught on fire.

This one was very poorly assembled. The elements have also been loose where they connect to the ceramic fixtures. This will be the last one of this type, I will buy. If you need a portable heater, stay with a total ceramic type, or a radiant quartz heater.

Heaters Review Good for a week
This heater worked for one week and then quit. So, it cost about $7 a day to use and then it was done. Trying to see about a refund now.

Heaters Review not so kid friendly
We bought this product for my son's room which can get cold in winter. It turns out that the heater casing gets really hot - dangerous for young children. Also the "silent" fan isn't so silent. We decided to return this product. We settled for a Black and Decker BDCV200T - which is a similar product. The B & D's case was a lot cooler to the touch - the top still gets hot, but no where near as bad as the delonghi. The fan is also a little better - doesn't sound as cheap.

          Heaters Review keresene odors
My daughter purchased this heater from Walmart on February 13,2004 and the quality is terrible. It has smelled of kerosene since it has was lit and finally today it had to be turned off & the apartment aired out. We have other kerosene heaters in our own home and never had we experienced the odors like this one.

Heaters Review stopped working after one night
We bought this in Sears, even though we set the speed to low, it still too noisy to put in bedroom. And the worst part is, it stopped working after only one night. a piece of junk. We had a sunpen town ultrasonic humidifier before, would purchase it again, it's quiet and working great.

Heaters Review Complete Junk - Do Not Waste Your Time
Because of substantially higher natural gas prices, I bought four (4) of these thermostats to be able better to monitor the heating in my home this winter.

This was a very bad mistake.

The instructions are vague, confusing, impossible to follow and a big waste of time. You can never be certain that you have accomplished what you wanted to do. I left my house for several days and thought I had set the thermostats for 50 degrees. No way. Each was set for something else even though there is a "Permanent Override" that is supposed to be easy to use. The problem is that the instructions are nonsense, apparently written by comedians.

If you want to read something that is written in indecipherable Chinlish, go here:
            http://www.hunter-thermostats.com/manuals/44260.pdf
            and read the owners manual.

Were you good a deciphering puzzles in school?

Moreover, the short instructions are printed on the lid in 6 point type. Try to read them and go blind

It may be a wonderful device but the manufacturer couldn't care less if you can operate it.

Also, the packaging must be made for a war zone. You need a jackhammer to smash and break into it. I cut my hands twice using scissors. Who is the stupid fool who designs packaging like this?

Oh and by the way, the instructions on how to wire it up look like they were written by a mad bomber seeking to blow up your home.

If there was a zero rating for this, I would have given it.

            AVOID THIS LIKE A DISEASE!
