Heaters Review Serious heat
This heater puts out an incredible amount of heat. It's a little bit noisy compared to smaller heaters, but I don't have to listen to it for long - it heats my barn (30'x36') to around 60 degrees F in around 10 minutes.

Heaters Review Buck Hustler
The Buck Hustler works great.Opening day of Minnesota rifle season 2001 I shot two bucks. The first one at 8 AM. a six pointer one hour later an 11 pointer both came right to the Buck Hustler. Opening weekend of rifle season 2002 the Buck Hustler worked once again bringing in a 10 pointer for a 20 yd. shot and the rest is history. What a great product it works so good I bought a second one I place one in front of my stand and one behind to get more scent into the air. I recommend this product to any serious hunter it works great!!!

Heaters Review montana hunting camp
I have a wall tent 14X26X5. When we arrived in camp it was raining so hard all we could do was get the tent up and the rain fly on. The temperature was in the high 30's. We did not set up our stoves or cut wood because of the rain. We fired up the Mr Heater and in no time the tent was warm. It rained off and on for the next 7 days and we only used the Mr Heater for our heat for the tent. I purchased my Mr Heater from Amazon.com used (refurbished) and it is excellent. I am going to buy three more used when they come on to amazon.com as I have two other big tents in my hunting camp and a shower tent and they will all have a Mr. Heater in them for my hunters comfort.

Heaters Review 30-80K Portable Propane Convection Heater
I use the Mr. Heater 30-80K convection heater in my garage, which is roughly 625 SF with high 14 ft. ceilings, CMU block wall, un-insulated ceiling. During winter months of the teens outside, I can bring the inside temp of my garage up to 70 degrees within a short time. However, you may need to hang a box fan up near the ceiling or install a ceiling fan to circulate the heat back down, it puts out a strong trickle of heat in a 360 degree radius that is easy to regulate to keep from alternating between freezing and roasting.

The biggest plus for me with this unit it the lack of objectionable fumes as are produced by forced air kerosene heaters, the propane burns clean and is easy to purchase at my local filling station, no spills or lugging around 5 gallon containers of kerosene.

If massive amounts of heat are what you want, you should consider the forced air propane heater made by Mr. Heater. They put out massive quantities of heat in short order.

I get about 15 hours of use per 25 pound propane tank, the same type my BBQ runs on, by turning this unit on high and then shutting it down to low, alternating this cycle. You can use upwards of a 100 pound propane tank.

The unit is much smaller then I expected which is a plus, it is light and very well made and simple to use.

Heaters Review It does what it's supposed to do
I use this when it gets "cold" here in LA, most of the time I use it when I am watching TV or using my computer at home or down in the garage. I place it in front of the couch or by my desk, and I can feel the heat right away, you can choose 850W or 1000W, but not much difference to me. It can also swing left and right, which turned out to be a nice feature. It has an ionizer, I can't tell it helps or not . Shortly after I bought this heater, I saw a Presto Heatdish @ Costco for $59.95, it looks almost the same as this one, it has more features than this one, such as a lamp, an alarm and etc, worth the money, I guess. But I am very happy with mine, hey, all I need is heat.

Heaters Review Amazing little heater... And it's really quiet!
I initially bought this heater ('furnace') for my trailer. I wanted something small that would heat the space effeciently. And I wanted something QUIET. We were tired of the roar from other types of heaters, and this has been a great unit. My wife in particular hates the roaring and rattling from the other heater, and asked me to find something better!

What we have been impressed with is that there is no longer these huge temperature swings - 75 for about ten minutes, then suddenly you notice that it's 60. And then your old noisy heater finally roars to life. Not with this heater.

The great thing is that it doesn't run at the 1500 watt rating all the time. It adjusts itself so that it only uses the electricity necessary to heat the space that it's in. Most of the time, we can't hear it running, nor can we really tell that it's on, except for the pilot lamp. I have to say that the really great thing about it is that it is very quiet, even when it's running at full blast!

However, this does have a down side. It does run all the time. But as it runs, it is sampling the air moving around it and constantly adjusting itself so that it only heats as much as necessary to keep the space comfortable. And this means that it is running, even though the fan is just barely turning over, at a very slow speed, to sample the air temperature. I wouldn't let this keep me from buying it, however. When it's inactive, you can't tell it's running. It comes with a 5-year guarantee, so Pelonis must really have faith in this unit.

All in all, I really recommend this heater. There is a reason that this is the one that everyone copies. Our trailer no longer goes from 'Honey, can you PLEASE turn up the heat' to 'Please let me open a window, Dear, I'm sweating'. The thing we've really noticed is that the temperature is really nice and even, even in the back corner nooks and crannies.

And that is the really great thing about this heater. It keeps you at the temperature you set, and there is no more freezing or panting for air. It takes a lot to convince me to write a review like this for Amazon, but this little heater has me won over!

And for the summer, you can remove the heater element and insert an empty substitute that lets you use it as just a very quiet fan and circulator.

It comes with a spare filter, (both are washable) and the fan insert. That's good news, if your heater is like mine, where it sits for a while and when you need it, it suddenly smells like burnt hair. Not with this unit. The filter keeps the dust and junk out of it, so that it should have a nice, long life.
