Ladders Review Going to keep it till it breaks, then buy the same again!!!
Best value for money, at 108 including tax from costco, this is by far the best ladder you can get. Works great as a simple ladder, plus you can use it as two separate sawhorses, or extend it to climb on the roof of your house (like me!). Extremely sturdy and feels really strong! I'm really glad I read the reviews here and did not waste money on a Gorillaz or Giant Ladder.

Ladders Review Great 14 FT Ladder; $99 at Costco 2-2006
After researching this ladder online and the Little Giant, I checked my local Costco in Los Angeles (Marina Del Rey) to see if it really was available. Yes, it was the only ladder, the only size they had. At $99 it is a great deal.

Be aware that the extension rating is misleading. I needed a 13 ft ladder to reach my roof. I first purchased a Werner MT-13 (13FT) at Loew's on sale for $79, regular price $99, only to find the maximum extension was actually 10 1/2 ft NOT 13 ft on a ladder advertised to be 13 ft. So I returned it then found the helpful notes on this site about the availability of the Werner MT-17 ft ladder at Costco for $99 -- the same regular price as the 13 ft ladder at Loew's. Likewise, the 17 ft extension is actually about 14 1/2 ft NOT 17 ft.

The extension has an unusual and unexpected flex at the main hinge when fully extended which is a bit unsettling and, once understood, one may find it acceptable or not.

Loew's also carries a 17ft ladder made by Cosco (not to be confused with Costco) at about $159. It is also a Little Giant knock-off but has a lower weight rating (225 lbs) and is a bit cheaper with plastic parts and less sturdy. Go for the Werner; it is a better ladder all around: sturdier, with a higher weight rating (300 lbs) and made of better materials. The Werner 17ft ladder is a great buy at Costco at $99 particularly considering it is the same price as the smaller 13 ft ladder.

Ladders Review This ladder rocks!
Great ladder. Fits in a small space. Easy to operate. I got mine at Costco for $99

Ladders Review Simply the best!
I narrowed my choice down to the Level-Ette or the newer Werner Auto leveler. I decided on the Level-ette because of the reviews I had read here and on price- $20 cheaper than the Werner unit. I just finished installing the Level-ette unit on my aluminum Werner ladder, tested its function, and had the ladder back on the rack in my garage in 30 minutes!! From what I read about the Werner auto unit, one could spend an entire afternoon just installing the things! I think that this is one of those cases where "simpler is better". If you need ladder levelers for your ladder for use on a sloped lot, I highly recommend the Level-Ette. Of course you could spend an entire afternoon with the Werner unit if you'd prefer- I chose not to. Besides, I've grown suspicious of any product that is advertised as "automatic"- especially one that you may very well be depending on for your safety!

Ladders Review IT WORKS ..CONFIDENCE ON A LADDER?!?!!?!?!?!?!
I first want to say that this is my first review on Amazon, this product was just so good I had to write it up.
I have a sloped lot, about 10 foot grade. Getting on a ladder was a nightmare , having to use bricks, rocks, or boards just to get it level. (nevermind stable).
I bought this item for my Lousville 24 foot Aluminum ladder from Home Depot. Installation was a cinch. The hardest part was getting the old feet off. There was a small bracket that was riveted to the ladder. I just used my 1/4 drill bit to "carve" it out. Next, 4 more holes, and a socket wrench to install the bolts, and it was done. Total 8 bolts.(about 45 minutes with the right tools).
I tested it with the Xmas lights this year. It is about an 18foot reach to my eaves on 1 side. What a DREAM. A straight , STABLE ladder under foot. The pin and socket mechanism is easy to use. Just set the ladder straight , push the button and the foot drops the the needed level. Best of all with both sides almost any slop is negotiable. What this product does is make you feel confident on a ladder when using it on a sloped lot. And that is worth its weight in gold. The Xmas lights are up and it was so much more relaxing having safe, stable footing.
I will doing alot more work with my ladder now that I feel safe and stable one it.
Don't wait another day if you have been in this situation , you will not regret it.

Ladders Review Great Product!
The Universal Level-Ett is a quality product and I will never own another ladder without them. Rock solid and aint skeared of hilly ground no more! Combine this product with the Werner AC78
Qickclick Stabilizer and its unbelievable. I'm not afraid to use a ladder now.

Ladders Review Solid, dependable
I confess I'm no lightweight, and the prospect of getting up on a flimsy household stepladder with a load of whatever in my arms was a little daunting. So when I went to look for a new one (The old one finally fell apart after years of heavy use, twisting sideways on an uneven floor as I reached up to hang a drapery rod, and then collapsing entirely.) I looked for the highest rated step-ladder I could find. And I found an amazingly sturdy, stable ladder in the Werner. I don't worry for a moment about standing on it, holding any sort of extra weight. I know that it will stay put and support me and whatever I'm holding.

Unfortunately it does have one drawback. The steps are so high that getting up to the second one without some sort of external support is very difficult. With two bad knees, it's just about impossible. Once you're up, no problem, but getting there is a major pain and I'm often reduced to using a kitchen chair as an intermediate step. I could wish there had been one extra step, or a grab bar at the top. But apart from this, I think the Werner is a superior product for the money.

Ladders Review sturdy but shakey
The Werner FIAA08 375# Is a well made and rigid ladder, but make sure you have it on even ground because of it's rigity all four legs will not contact an uneven ground making it unstablized. But all in all it's a strong ladder worth the price. I found this ladder on Amazon.com cheaper after I bought one at Lowes.

Ladders Review Sturdy and Practical
When the bid came in at close to $1000 to stain the interior of my three season room, I decided that I could do it myself with the help of this ladder and the cost of materials. Glad I made this purchase. Found more than one use for it as I have nine foot ceilings on my first floor. One warning--you do have to carefully pre-plan on how you will move throughout the house so you don't damage anything. I am now thinking about purchasing the Werner six foot ladder to replace my current somewhat flimsy one. Once you experience how safe you feel on a sturdy ladder, it is difficult to use one less secure.

Ladders Review Great Ladder; S&H snags
This is the best ladder I've ever owned for use around the house and yard. It is quite stable and solid, yet light enough to move around and can be climbed from either side. Its fiberglass supports should make it harder to get shocked doing electrical repairs.
S&H could be better as the ladder only had one stip of tape to hold the bottom together; it came off, but the sturdy ladder showed no damage. There was not good communications between Eagle and the local delivering agent who was calling a wrong phone number (that had a distant area code) to try and reach me for delivery. I had to contact Amazon to find out who the local delivery company was as the on line info "stalled" at the intermediate Eagle Terminal 350 miles away.

Ladders Review A Cadillac among ladders
We have owned our 10' Werner step ladder since July of 2004. For what I thought might be practicality, I chose this ladder over the 12 foot version. We have used it mainly in finishing the interior of our 15' tall Morton pole building and, in retrospect, could have used the extra 2 feet. Other than that, I am as thrilled as one can be over a step ladder. This is a Cadillac of ladders. It is so solid and well built, it takes most of the fear out of working up high and is especially appreciated when working away from a wall. The steps are broad, wide, and solid, and it extends and locks securely. Even as solidly built as it is, it's still light enough to move quite easily. We also purchased a Werner aluminum extension ladder from a local home improvement store and find it to be of comparable quality. I highly recommend this line of Werner ladders. In my opinion, a slightly larger expenditure for the quality is worth it in consideration of your own safety.

Last, but not least...Amazon was awesome on this deal. We received our ladder with slight (cosmetic) shipping damage and were given immediate attention that resulted in our complete satisfaction. Thank you Amazon. We are happy repeat customers!

Ladders Review Could use more pockets
Like other reviewers, I've found this item to be quite a little gem. The large side pocket is deep and has more than enough space to carry nails, screws, hardware, etc. However, there are only two small slot-type pockets for screwdrivers and other small tools. If it had a couple more, it would be worth 5 stars.

Ladders Review Great Product
Have one and love it.

Best feature is the velcro bellows bag. Holds a full bag of cable nail straps (for romex) and opens wide for easy access. The velcro seals tightly with no leakage, even when the ladder is folded up and tossed in the truck. I usually demonstrate this feature by climbing down, slapping the pocket closed, folding up the ladder, and then turning the whole thing upside down and shaking. No spillage.

The second best feature is the drill holster. Holds securely even without the strap fastened. Easy in/out even with long bits or drivers.

Having hammer loops on both sides is very handy. I don't lay tools on the top of the ladder because I usually forget and don't like getting thumped in the head when I move the ladder. The hammer loops are stiff so they don't collapse and trap the hammer handle.

These features turn the step ladder into a mobile workbench.

Ladders Review Worth every penny!
This is one of those "gadgets" that you think you can live without, until you actually see one! I use mine at work everyday, and constantly have electrcians, plumbers, HVAC, and even carpenters ask me where I got it. No one cares how much, becuase they see the value from the start. Makes it very easy to bring to the job exactly what I need, but not be dragged down by a heavy tool belt. Make sure you put your name on it, because it may walk off.

Ladders Review This does all it claims, and more!
I use the Total Trolley for everything from trash duty to carrying my 1,600 CDs. We stack our 26 CD cases, weighing about 20 pounds a piece, on the cart and wheel it around with no problems. That's well over 500 pounds! I bought the collapsing cases, too. They are very handy for groceries, small items, etc. The ladder set-up is fast, easy, and very stable. I feel very safe standing on the TOP rung - fully allowed. The versatility is endless. We use it to move furniture, carry several large sacks of dog food, just about every lifting job I used to do manually, I now let the cart do it for me. This cart is well worth the cost, and then some. I have no idea how I managed without it!

Ladders Review Handy and sturdy
At first this seemed like it was a bit heavy. It is, but that makes it sturdy. I have used it to move a chair and couch from one room to another as well as gardening supplies, mulch and plants to the back yard. This is a versatile item that is handy to have. I wish I had one sooner.

Ladders Review Amazing House-Hold Invention Saves The Day!
I had a party for my 4 year old's birthday and this came in very handy! I moved all the supply's for 50 people including tables, chairs, and food. It make my life 10 times easier and saved my back from any strain at all! This must be the most useful product that has come out in years!

Ladders Review Outstanding Quality!!!
The rack took about 45 minutes to assemble. Once assembled it is easily removable in under ten. Extremely strong. All parts are of the highest quality. Extremely satified with this rack.

Ladders Review So you'd like a smart value for money Rack
Very well packaged, took a bit longer than 45 mins, but what quality, I've not seen anything this good for a while, believe me. Yes I bought the T-Rac system 22900 Premium for full sized trucks and it fits a dream. I found it to be extremely robust and pretty damn good looking too. Hey! Guess what ? I only got a Chevy S10 Extended cab with a 6' bed. Now I did order this one by mistake but after looking at the details very closely, I thought to myself, " If I trade up to a full sized truck next year, I won't have to buy one for a full sized truck" if I can get this one to fit safely and hold loads properly. I carried 1 - 2" x 12" x 16'. 2 - 2" x 4" x 16'. 4 - 4" x 4" x 10' and a 25' entending ladder. The Bed of the truck (S10) contained various other large bits of lumber. Drive it carefully and it never gave me any scary moments. The T-Rac was as sound as a rock. Moral of the story, if you got an S10 and are thinking of trading up to full sized truck later, don't buy the compact version, this baby has got muscles like you've not seen before. One point, It would have been nice if T-Rac had put in a stainless Allen key (Hex). Us Brits living in America don't realise we've been born. I am as happy as a pig in SXXX with my T-Rac..If you want a personal lowdown or even help you can e-mail me at victor1651@myactv.net and I'll answer anyone who writes. Thanks T-Rac again and again.
PS Best 429 bucks spent yet, apart from the Chevy of course. As a Handyman this has really turned out to be a good deal.

Ladders Review Nice rack, baby!
Purchased this rack from Amazon about a month ago. I'm into house renovations but only at a do-it-yourself level. However, the rack is built very solid so I'm sure it would hold up to a full time contractor's abuse. Very easy to install. I have yet to uninstall it but it too looks simple. The only thing I worry about is the rack getting stolen. I use cables to lock it to the truck tie downs. I purchased the size that fits compact trucks. The truck I installed it on is a Toyota Tacoma.

Delivery took only 2 days even though the expected time was 7 days. I have had only good experiences with Amazon. Their price on this item was equal or less than other online quotes. Amazon's return policy is by far the best. I'll even pay a little extra just to do business with Amazon.

Cheers...

Ladders Review Great Ladder
I finally found a project to use this ladder. It is very sturdy and well built. I also bought the extra work platform and scaffold plank. The price is a little high but you get what you pay for and the quality is very good. I am a big healthy guy and found this ladder a bit heavy to wrestle around but it is worth it to have a ladder this sturdy. I enjoyed reading some of the other remarks about the weight of the Little Giant. I will give it a 4 1/2 rating because of the weight. Maybe on the TV commercials they only used half of the ladder.

Ladders Review The best ladder yet
It's rare that you find a product that delivers everything it claims and then more. PROS: Solid as a ladder weighing twice as much( I have them and they're about to be history). The stability is excellent on a full extension (no torque or bowing) . Quick and easy to use the many combinations.I beleive the hinge is stronger than it's rating. I jumped up and down HARD on half extension(I weight 190) Couldn't do that with my Werner. CONS: 42 lbs. (solid construction). Takes a little time to learn the manipulations.

Ladders Review You can't beat it
This is the only ladder you'll ever need. I bought one for my father and he is jumping up and down with joy over it. All the neighbors and friends had to see it and try it out. There is true pride of ownership.
When you get yours, cut out the instructions from the cardboard box and save them. You'll never remember all the configurations you can have. True, there is a video, but you want a cheat sheet when your doing real work and don't have time to watch a video.
Buy the extension for paint cans, etc. It's worth it.
The only disappointment is the wieght of the ladder. It's not bad, but it's so well constructed that a fully configured ladder is a bit heavy. If you want a lighter one, get the 17'. The learning curve can be large for those not mechanically inclined. Don't let these little things stop you though. Jump in an get it.
[...]Knockoffs. Made in China, need I say more? This was built in America, Springville, Utah to be exact. Sure you can get a cheaper ripoff, but "buyer beware" you generally get what you pay for. This is the original and the best. Buy less than the best and you'll probably end up buying it again, and paying more in the long run.
