Good stand, demanding assembly, experience helpful. My problems stem from the assembly instructions in the owner's manual which tended to use 10 words when 30 would have sufficed. In retrospect, studying the picture (a picture being worth a thousand words sort of thing) was at least as informative as the instructions. The advantage was that I got to spread a 2-hr job over 6.5 by having to assemble it twice.
The "recommended tools" layout was complete and good, as was the parts list...except that the description of the parts was limited to two-word descriptions. By carefully examining the picture of the two shelves, you can see that the top shelf has a thick base and a "Rousseau" decal on the left side. The bottom shelf has a thinner base and the company decal on the right side. What you cannot see (and they don't tell you) is that the left and right wings may look alike, but aren't. They are almost identical but you have to arrange them so that the thumb button release on the wing supporting mechanism faces you...but you can't see this either in the parts list or in the picture...and they don't tell you. I found the "Set Up Instructions" poorly worded and skimpy. Step 3 was actually incorrect. The instructions were to install the cross-pieces "using top hole of bottom shelf bracket & bottom hole on top shelf bracket." No way, Jos! The only way mine would fit was to use the third hole of the top shelf bracket. Step 5 was a beauty: "...set top shelf below wings equal to base height of planer wings." What?! Returning to the picture for a moment, they do not tell the buyer that some planer manufacturers do not necessarily set the wings perfectly in line with the base as perhaps suggested in the picture. The wings on my new planer (a Makita) certainly are not. Other makers probably do something similar but this problem was not addressed in the instructions, meaning the new owner must decided whether to align the stand wings with the planer wings or with the planer base. I suppose it is time to call in some experienced planer owners and make the final adjustments.

Extend-A-Truck great for hauling lumberAlso we have a sailboat with a 25' mast which rides very well on the rigging, very stable. Extra tie-downs help also on the "T" bar.
Great product for contractors or homeowners who do their own work.

Great Little Garden Cart
Mary B
LOVE the LUVcart!!! How Did I Live Without This Before?!I enjoy gardening but dread dealing with the heavy items: soil, compost, concrete, plants, mulch, etc. In the past I've tried everything from pushing to pulling to dragging, from wheelbarrows to utility carts and hand trucks. In every case the wheels sank into my wet grass/soil and hung up on stepping stones, etc. And don't even mention turns!
I put 120lbs (3 bags) of compost in the LUVcart and away we went! All I had to do was walk with it. It went from my paved drive to the grass with ease. It zipped across wet grass, slightly boggy soil, and stepping stones with ease. It zoomed right along my narrow, winding paths and maneuvered with unbelievable ease around that 90 degree turn I designed into the path by mistake (I have great difficulty getting anything else around that turn!). When we got to the handful of small (1" or less) branches I had pruned and left in the path earlier, I expected it to balk, but it drove right over them as if they were not even there!
I can't begin to tell you how easily it turns and maneuvers. I assembled it in the kitchen, then realized that in order to get out the back door it needed to be turned around completely (180deg) but there was almost no space in which to execute the turn. I thought that I would need to do the usual back-up, pull up, haul, drag, lift, struggle, "woman-handle", etc. Nope! Because the front wheel spins 360deg, the cart can virtually turn completely around in place and with ease!
I had some concerns about whether it might be heavy, clunky, and difficult to push and maneuver manually (without power). No problem at all. It is surprisingly easy to push without power. As I said, I assembled it in my kitchen, turned it around 180deg in place without power assist and maneuvered over the threshold, out the door and down the step without power assist. Since I did not have to lift the back (as with wheel barrow), I found it easier than dealing with my garden cart even without the power assist.
I simply LOVE it! I'm thinking about all the things I lugged around the garden/yard over the years and how long I looked at that stack of compost in the drive and dreaded the mere thought of dragging those bags around the yard. I only wish that I had not waited this long to find and buy this cart. It was well worth the cost. In the past, I have paid the kid next door $50 just to haul some edging bricks around the yard for me. Now, as long as it comes in increments of less than 200lbs and fits in my LUVcart, I can do it myself without strain or hassle!
Receipt and Assembly: It arrived very quickly, a week or so ahead of the estimate. The box was marked heavy, but the individual parts were not heavy. The instruction book was well written and easy to follow. I was particularly impressed with the color-coded packs of hardware which meant I did not have to figure out which screw or bolt went where. It was MUCH easier to assemble than I would have thought. In 30 minutes I had it all together and ready to charge. I only had one problem: on mine the holes on the battery cover did not line up well and, thus, required a nasty fight. Everything else was a breeze to assemble.
Be advised, however, that I just got mine. I've only used it once. I cannot comment on how well it will hold up over time, but it appears to be well made.

Packin' it awayInstead of havin' to fumble around on a bare roll of packaging tape in a frustrating effort to find the leader, the gun keeps it in place and ready to use on the next box! Just put the free end of the tape down on one side of the box, then-SKHKHKHKT!-all the way down to the other end, and let the serrated cutting blade sever the length from the rest of the roll! This particular model even has a tension knob on the spool that helps keep the tape roll in place with a clockwise turn, and also loosen it up when spent (counterclockwise turn).
On a final note: if you give the buyer the option of shipping via standard mail or Priority Mail, I recommend you keep two of these handy-one for the regular tape, and one for the Priority Mail tape. Believe you me, it's worth not having to go through the hassle of taking the regular roll off, then putting on the Priority roll, find the leader, thread it through the gun, etc.

I know that sometimes the web based stores only offer certain entries but I just though you and Steve (Hrkal) have noticed that and if it could be presented to show the free shipping.
Not trying to tell you what to do just trying to help you guy out with a few thoughts as you begin selling that awsome product.
