After I bought my DeWalt 24-volt 6-1/2" circular saw I decided I also needed a AC power source. So I bought the DeWalt DW0247 24 Volt AC/DC Converter. I didn't make a wrong choice with this. The converter supplies the same power as the 24-volt battery but keeps on going. It has a built in fan to keep it cool. I liked how it was the same size as the battery but weighed a lot less. So if you have the saw you have to have the converter.

Handy to have. In a garage door company, we all use this tool on a daily basis. Takes a beating and keeps on ticken!

I've only used this tool a few times and it has out performed my expectations each time. Working as a marine technician you see a lot of rusty engine mounts, each time I've used it this tool had no problem. Its also well balanced and compact, certinly not a the biggest amount of torque but enough for alot of smaller jobs.

I install Central Vacuums, and use this bit everyday. I was impressed from the day I got it. The two cutting heads make a HUGE difference. No kickback, stays sharper longer, the list of positives goes on and on. I also own a Milwaukee 2 1/4 self feed, and there is nothing to compare!

While updating my workshop, I needed to drill holes in 2x6 joists and 2x4 studs to run the electric down the length of the walls. The DeWalt DW245 had more than enough power to do the job. It cut through those studs like a hot knife through butter. A piece of advice, use the control handle...this drill will get away from you if you don't.

I have used these counter sinking bits for about 2 years now and am still very satisfied. The tapered point along with the deep flutes on the shaft make this a fast and smooth cuttig bit. The key is the deep fluting which get the wood chipps out of the hole and out of the way. There is no way to remove the bit half way through the cut to clear the chips. Also the countersink is ideal for installing buttons and plugs into.

You have to have this flange to safely use a diamond blade or cut of wheel. I can't believe that DeWalt doesn't include this part with their grinders.

I am the sort of person who is very meticulous, and I would rather have one well made tool than a dozen cheap ones. Having said this I must say that I am thoroughly impressed and pleased with the DW824 grinder. It has good balance, A LOT of power, and is made to last. I especially like the quick-adjust guard, this makes it really convenient to use when grinding at different positions. The extra long cord all but eliminates the need for an extension cord, and the power in this small package is awesome!! I have yet to bog the motor down!! I looked high & low at all other grinders of this size (4 1/2" & 5") and I feel that this one beats the others hands down. I would heartily recommend this grinder to anyone.

I got this tool free when I purchased the 18v xrp combo kit. I laughed when I first saw it and quickly told my wife that it was her drill. Well, I picked it up one day to hang some blinds as it fit better into the space than my 18v drill and couldn't believe how well it worked. Since then I have used it for everything from driving drywall screws to driving 4 inch deck screws. That's right -- 4 inch deck screws! And it has very good battery life. I reach for it now instead of my 9.6v makita when I have small jobs. I just wish this thing the ability to hold drill bits because it would be great for small jobs. Overall I am very pleased and demand quality from everything. I have no patience for poor engineering or workmanship and this did not let me down.

I have used this saw for 2 years and have had no problems. It has good power for a 14.4v. It's light and extremely durable. I have found it very easy to handle. The keyless blade change is great! It saves a lot of time. My only complaint is that the shoe is not adjustable. Otherwise it's a great tool to have around when you need it.

I have had this drill for a year and love it. I use it for mixing mortar and drilling large holes where a lot of torque is needed. Do NOT buy this drill for making small holes. The drill speed is a very slow 550 rpm's. You will need a much faster drill for most drilling. Works great!
