Power Supplies Review chains that bind and gag
powerful chainsaw for dry wood...wet wood is another matter with this saw. the chain that came with the saw jumped the bar after about 15 minutes of use on the 3rd chain adjustment..you can get a better repalcement chain for it right from home depot. Also the wire coming from the shut off switch keeps working loose from vibration.
it does eat alot of gas but the engine doesnt say maybe as long as the wood is dry.

its an ok saw for the price.. ya get what ya pay for!!!

Power Supplies Review Great chain saw! (Part number is wrong for blade).
This is a great chain saw! Great price for 49cc with very easy starting. (This is my second chain saw, after killing a Craftsman 18in.) Please note: the replacement chain part number is wrong in the manual--it's really MC-9220-31B203! So, getting replacement blades is a little harder (not available at Sears), but you can order them with the CORRECT part number from buymtdonline.com.

Power Supplies Review Good Product
This saw is easy to start and runs well. The only thing I wish Troybilt would have done was included specs on the chain in the instruction manual for chain sharpening (file size and angle) and replacement. Also, the rpm's on the high side should be a little faster for quicker cuts, but over all, it's a good saw.

Power Supplies Review Too Bulky
The motor housing/handle of this grinder is too big to be comfortable. Holding it for hours gets old! The switch was constantly clogging up. I used it for stone carving, which is dusty however other grinders have held up fine.

Power Supplies Review Ultra smooth running - a joy to use
I've used one of these for about ten years now, with almost daily use. It is still the smoothest running angle grinder/sander I have ever used, which is appreciated when doing fine work and holding it running for hours on end. It is also more quiet than most grinders (I've used almost all of them). It has adequate power considering the weight of the machine. The only downside is that the electrical cord wires would break near the housing, but it was easy to replace with a higher rated cord. Maybe Bosch solved this by now. When it does wear out, I will definately buy another one.

Power Supplies Review Best grinder I've used
I've been using my grinder for about two years now...it's outlasted a DeWalt grinder which I burned the motor out on and a Milwaukee grinder whose case broke when dropped. My bosch has been dropped, carried by the cord and used to cut steel in a pinch and keeps on running. I've never had any problems with the switch either. Now I have two Bosch grinders...one for grinding and one for finish sanding.

Power Supplies Review This will destroy your tool
I'd stay away from this one until the design flaws are fixed. Tons of sawdust from the piece you're working on will fall into your tool and render it useless. I've killed two Dremels, and got maybe a grand total of 5 minutes use out of the table.

Power Supplies Review Good Attachment to have
A Fine piece of equipment. Works great even with pilotedbits. Highly recommend any dremel user pick one up

Power Supplies Review Dremel Mini router table acessory
I have been using this for quite a while, and at times, it is a lot easier to use this, to dadoes for small items on soft wood like boxes. I used it to make some boxes out of pire and I used it to do edge work and make dadoes. This is my coolest acessory for the dremel with my wood bit set.

Power Supplies Review Pass this by and get the chuck instead
Change out different collets to fit different diameter Dremel bits? I don't think so. You'll save yourself quite a bit of time, energy, and frustration if you get the Dremel 4486 MultiPro chuck instead.

The chuck costs a bit more, but if you do projects that require constant bit changes, it'll be well worth the money.

'Late!

Power Supplies Review Gotta have it
The quick change collet nut comes with every Dremel rotary tool but if you loose one you're sunk. It's good to have an extra one on hand in case the unthinkable happens.

Power Supplies Review Indispensable part of the Dremel
You really can't use the Dremel to its fullest without the Dremel collet nut. The Dremel Chuck is nice, especially if you are always changing accessory bits because the Chuck helps save time. I like the collet nut because nothing holds the bit tighter than the proper sized collet along with a collet nut. I use my Dremel hard, and the collet and collet nut makes sure the bit does not work loose.

Power Supplies Review hardly rechargeable
Because the battery that came with my Dremel cordless multi-tool consistently died quickly, I thought I'd get a duplicate as a back-up. Now, however, I have two Dremel batteries that last about 30 seconds after re-charging. If only I held onto the receipt. . .

Power Supplies Review Does what's expected
I needed an extra battery so that I could have an extra when mine was charging. The second one was as good as the first and has performed admirably. The first is 4 years old and performs like when it was new.

Power Supplies Review FINDING MY POWER SUPPLY
Simply could not have been beter. I searched everywhere including the Dramel company. AMAZON had it, and I received in about five days.

Power Supplies Review Bad magnifier
I bought this magnifier a week ago and it has already fallen apart. Besides, it doesn't magnify very well (which is pretty much the only point with a magnifying glass, isn't it?)

Power Supplies Review AWESOME Product !!!
This is a quality pocket magnifying glass. It will NOT fall apart after a few weeks use. I wear contact lenses and do not like to carry around my reading glasses to see things like restaurant menus or product prices or receipts. This fits in the pocket NICELY. Well, there isn't too much else to say except this is HIGH QUALITY for a pocket magnifier. I have bought one, and have just ordered more. This makes a wonderful gift for anyone, for any reason.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Power Supplies Review Neato Torpedo!
This particular magnifier is both compact and convenient. There's no stick-style handle to get in the way; the attached cover-case doubles as the handle. When you need to minimize the space the magnifier takes up, all you gotta do is flip the cover-case over the lens, throw it in your pocket, and be on your way!

If you're into model-building, you may find this bad-boy to be a really handy tool for etching 'laser' marks into your fave sci-fi spaceship models for that added touch of space-battle-aftermath realism! Of course, you're gonna need a clear, sunny day (preferably during midday in temperate latitudes) to take advantage of this. Just make sure you don't breathe in the resulting fumes from this application, okay? You've already fried several brain cells with the model cement you used to put your precious little Starship Enterprise together; let's not be destroying any more here, okay? Also, make sure the cement is fully dry before you commence with your etching! You don't wanna get caught in the middle of an unexpected flare-up, now do you?

Oh yeah, you can also use this to read really tiny print, or so I've been told...

Power Supplies Review Consumer tool
As a contractor I have purchased a lot of Makita tools over the years and have been plaeased with there rugged professional grade products. But this is definitely a do-it-yourselfer grade tool. It belongs on the K-mart shelf only.

Power Supplies Review Great combination
This is the second Makita set I've owned. The drill is excellent and the flashlight is bright.

Power Supplies Review great drill, great price
So far, I have been very happy with this drill/light combo. I bought it because I was replacing all the interior doors in my house and needed to drill holes in the new slabs for locksets. My old 9.6V couldn't handle it, but it was no problem for this one. As for the light, it's great.

Some VERY minor issues: the battery is a little tight going into the bottom of the drill; the motor originally had an interesting smell but it's now gone; there is a little spark inside the case each time the electric brake kicks in. None of these cause any problems, and they might be normal.

I would buy this combo again, and recommend it to anyone. Can't beat it for the price (I think I paid about $115).

Power Supplies Review Makita 10 inch saw
This saw does not stay square on the 90 positive stop. On the 45 positive stops, ones on 45 the other on 46. There is too much play on the saw when you are making a cut. Also, the guard sticks about 75% of the time, sometimes open and somtimes closed. Finally, I would never buy a Makita miter saw again, and go with a better brand.

Power Supplies Review Dust Bag useless
The Dust bag comes out to low if they reworked that I would rate it 5 stars

Power Supplies Review Great Saw
For the money this is a great Miter Saw. It is very powerful. It may not have an infinate range of angle settings, but it has the most common settings.

Power Supplies Review Piece of JUNK
I probably had less than 30 minutes use of this thing before knowing it was junk. I wrote a note to Milwaukee about it and they offered to fix it. Not what I wanted because I knew alrady it was never going to be good. But sent it in and they put $45 in parts. Believe it or not but since I have used it hours and still hate it! But has not given any more mechanical problems. Only worst engineered tool Milwaukee probably ever made. I don't think any other random orbit sander has no brake system! I used a De Walt many hours before buying this thing and only reason for not buying De Walt is that I don't like their products. Biggest mistake yet! I recommend the DE Walt!

Power Supplies Review Little sander packs a punch!
This sander is a replacement for my old Porter Cable. I am very impressed with this unit. It has more than enough power and the vibration from the unit is very minimal. With my old Porter it would take twenty minutes after sanding to get feeling back in my hand. The only downside to this product is the housing. The plastic used for this is slick and shiny. I am hoping after continued use it will wear a bit. This sander is already my favorite over my Mikita and Porter Cable.

Power Supplies Review An awesome little sander
I bought this sander about 8 months ago to replace an old Makita pad sander. I've used it frequently and have had excellent results. It starts very smoothly, runs quietly and virtually vibration-free and does a great job with all grits and on every surface I've used it on. I've used it all types of wood and even some metal. It leaves no swirl marks, even when pressing down hard. About the only minor issue I've found with it is that it gets pretty warm right on top where your palm rests. It's not a big problem and it's really just a very minor annoyance and doesn't detract from the sanding capabilities in the least. This is a great little addition to any serious woodworker's shop.

Power Supplies Review Good things DO NOT [always] come in small packages!
Purchased to replace portable air tank. I used it three times [two bicycle tires and partial inflation of car tire to 36 psi] over a period of approximately six months.

Attempted to inflate a water device and battery indicator was 'Low' after 3-5 minutes. After charging for four days, it still reads 'Low' and strange noises coming from the case - but not enough air to inflate volleyball!

Power Supplies Review So-so product overall because of the poor battery.
I bought this 4 months ago to replace a Campbell Hausfeld air compressor with almost 20 years of service. My old compressor used 12V DC current only (cigarette lighter)and this one has a built in battery. The battery is of little use to me because it won't hold a decent charge; it never really has despite charging according to directions. I charged it overnight for use this morning. The charge inflated the tire from 19 psi to 23 psi before going dead.....4 measly pounds on a "fully" charged battery. The tire size is 235 65 17, so not a small tire by any means, but 4 pounds?? I used the cigarette lighter cord to finish the inflation to 32 psi.

Sturdy construction, adequate length hose to reach valve stems at their highest point, fairly quick inflation compared to my old compressor. Storage area for cords WAY too small, expect to do some serious stuffing to fit these back into the storage space once they're unraveled....or you may even give up after a few minutes.

This is perfect for bicycle tires using only the internal battery. But, expect to use the cigarette lighter cord if you plan on inflating auto tires.

It's just frustrating when you expect a product to perform as you thought was advertised. Except for the small storage space, I would have absolutely no complaints on this product if it DIDN'T have the internal battery to begin with. But since it does, it should at least hold a charge enough to inflate a set of tires that are each a few pounds low. Ok, even 2 tires each a few pounds low would be borderline acceptable....but a single tire 4 pounds on a "fully" charged battery....not acceptable.

Power Supplies Review Works Fine For Realistic Expectations
This review is based on my using this product only a few times so I can't comment on its longevity or holding a long-term charge. I bought this because (1) I am too lazy to go to the gas station to put air in the tires and many gas stations don't even have air hoses anymore anyway, or else they charge you for air; and (2) by the time you get to the station the tires have warmed up and the pressure isn't accurate anymore.

The build quality of the unit is satisfactory. Everything is clearly labeled and the instructions are brief but clear. The hose and accessories fit tightly in the compartments provided and there isn't room for anything else in there.

I charged it overnight, hooked the air hose to my car tire and turned it on. It is pretty noisy and the air fills rather slowly but then this isn't an expensive compressor so I don't think it is realistic to expect anything more. It took about 30 seconds to add two pounds of air. The air hose made a tight clamp on the tire valve and the embedded tire gauge is adequate although it is best to use a more detailed gauge since the supplied one does not have marks for each pound of pressure, only in increments of 10 pounds. I noticed that the reading per the embedded gauge matched my separate tire gauge, however (which is also made by Cambell Hausfeld so maybe they're in cahoots with each other).

All in all, so far I am glad I bought this because it is much easier to add air in my garage instead of driving to the station. I just hope this thing lasts, which based on how it has performed so far, it should do the job for a while.
