Work Support Review Trust me, it is well worth it!
I have owned this saw for over 3 years now. It is a shame that I had paid the full introductory price when it had come out, but I wouldn't trade this saw for anything. I also own the complete 24V cordless line by Bosch. I own a small contractor buisness doing everything from kitchens, baths, additions, full house construction, to concrete work and everything in between. Not only is this saw worth it's weight in gold, but the entire 24V Bosch is worth the same. I can not write a good enough review for this item. It is so handy to set up and cut a few pieces of trim with such accuracy as my 12" Bosch Sliding Compound miter saw. In fact, I have found myself using this saw for just about every job, since I already have the case with my other cordless tools. I have trimmed out $750k houses with this saw, just set it up in every room that needs trimwork, hook it up to my shop vac and away I go with accurate miters. The only thing that I had wished this saw had was the dual compound feature, but I am used to turning crown over and cutting it the other way. The saw holds an accurate fence and the positive miter detents are right on! Again, it takes only 5 min. to pull the saw out, set it down, and begin cutting with no cords to drag around. It is the nearest replacement to a quality cordes miter saw you can ever have. I am truely convinced to forever puchase the old blue and red over the yellow and black any day. Bravo Bosch!

Work Support Review best buy yet
well ive had this saw for a month now. i couldnt be happier i install kitchens and bath cabinets everyday and use it everyday, the battery lasted longer than i thought it would before i had to recharge it. its so light my helper dosent complain anymore about dragging the saw around. between this and the bosch cordless jigsaw and the nail gun i hardly have to plug in anything anymore i read some of the reviews before i bought this last saw most were favorable some wernt but for what i do its great i guess if i did trim all day i would want 2 batteries but thats the only down side

Work Support Review Great saw for the intended design
First let me say I am not a contractor I am a weekend warrior but I do like doing my own project work.
I bought this saw about 2 months ago because I had a project to build a double set of outside stairs. The nearest power was 1/4 mile away and I don't own a generator.
This saw is very good. I was suprised by it power. The stairs I built were completely made from green treated lumber. I was able to cut 2x12 stair treads with no problem. Yes I had to flip the wood over and yes the wood was still wet. I was amazed. I also bought the 24 volt circular saw. It too exceeded my expectation. I also own the Corded Dewalt 12 inch compound miter. This saw can't do everything the Dewalt can do but you can't expect it to. For what it is worth I have not found a job it can't do yet.
I would highly recommend this saw to any one.

Work Support Review Very convenient.......
These pads work great on Rockler "Surefoot" pipe clamps as well as the Pony clamps. One less thing to worry about during glue-ups.

Work Support Review Indispensable
I built a shed recently with a wide door to accomodate big tools. I made this door out of 2x6 tongue-and-groove decking boards, which I needed to clamp together to attach 2x4 bracing. So a pair of "Pony" clamp fixtures and a couple lengths of black pipe was just the ticket -- or almost. The decking boards needed a bit of persuasion to get all 9 planks together, and I didn't want to gouge the nice oak. Some cedar shims against the clamp pads promptly crumpled when I tightened the clamps. So I left the door until the next weekend and ordered these clamp pads.

Now I have a nice shed with a sturdy, attractive door on it. And no clamp marks!

Strongly recommended.

Work Support Review They work!
There is not much criteria one could comment on clamp pads. I have installed these on all my Jorgenson I-Bar clamps, and they (1) are non-marring and, (2) stay on the clamps very well. What more can one ask for?

Work Support Review Leecraft zero clearance
Very high quality item. Easy to install, a bit chirpy and noisy, but I expect that reflects the zero clearance if the insert. Buy it.

Work Support Review Spend a few extra bucks and get the Leecraft. It's the best
These Leecraft inserts are perfectly flat and perfectly true right out of the wrapper. I bought three of these for my Powermatic 66 and one from another supplier for my vintage Sears Table Saw. (Leecraft also)
I bought some inserts from a cheaper supplier and they were warped when I received them. I could straighten them out, but they remembered the bow and went back to that rather quickly. Get Leecraft.
They have the adjusting allen head studs so you can get it perfectly flat with your saws top. Unlike the PMatic factory inserts, these are flat and true. If you take your factory insert, turn it upside down on the cast iron saw top, and press down on the corners, sure enough it will rock. The Leecraft doesn't do that.
The factory inserts have the advantage of working with all different size blade thicknesses. They also work if you are tilting the blade, to a 45 degree angle for example. These zero clearance inserts do not do that. You have to buy a new one for every type of blade and angle. (Unless you are willing to defeat the zero clearance advantage.)
Preventing saw dust from flying in the air is reduced but not eliminated. The dust riding around in the pocket of the teeth, gets flung in the air all the same.
I picked one up to use for my dado blade and have a new one on standby for the next dado setting. The problem is that unless you have several of these, one for every possible dado setting, you're not going to be able to use them for dadoing every possible size. That is where the factory dado insert comes in. Sometimes you don't care about worrying that the wood piece can dive into the saw, or that your work piece is so small that you need a closer platform to support it. Take kerfing out large plywood sheets for cabinet sides for example. When you are doing smaller projects needing dados, having the Leecraft is great.
My advice is to pick up several of these; one for your regular blade, and two or three for your most popular dado settings.
I love the overall quality. If I had to be critical, I would say that it is annoying to hear the blade kiss off of the side of the insert when it is starting up, and also create a slight rattle as it touches it on the edges. That creates a cheaper sound, especially annoying when you are using a saw that is of the caliber of the PMatic 66. It sings normally. Leecraft in their instructions advises you to take a small file and enlarge the opening slightly to eliminate that. That is not a defect, just a consideration when first using the blade insert.
So in conclusion, get some Leecraft inserts, and make sure you have both the standard and dado inserts from the factory. Each has its own purpose. Overall, highly recommended.

Work Support Review Best Table Saw Insert
I have been using these inserts for over a year. I have tried other brands, but these are the best:
A) Pre-cut relief slot in the bottom of the insert for blade clearance of the starter cut.
B) Phenolic laminate that is strong and smooth and remains flat
C) Increased safety from stock inserts by keeping wood from getting between the blade and saw opening (Tilted blade cuts require a additional insert, or the stock insert)
D) Fully adjustable height, width and length
E) Reduces chip out

Note that if you use a factory blade guard like the one on the PM66 you will need to make a small slot in the rear of the insert to accommodate the splitter.

Overall, a very well designed and manufactured product. Highly recommended 5 stars

Work Support Review Delta Makes a Fabulous 12" Compound Miter Saw
The Delta 12" compound miter saw is worth ever penny. Excellent heavy-duty construction and great power and accuracy. Make sure you buy one with twin laser guides - you'll never want to use a saw without a laser again.

Work Support Review Excellent Saw - Nice features
I've been using this saw for [a while now]. It certainly does everything it should; bevel, miters etc with lots of power. The positive stops are very accurate and easy to use. One of the things I like best is the mounting system - the base has slots for setting it on 2 2x4's... ...The included blade isn't too bad either - especially for framing lumber.

Work Support Review The Single Best Job Site Tool You Can Buy!
I bought a PM2700D directly from Rousseau about 20 years ago when they were selling them in small ads in the classified sections of woodworking magazines. I'm a cabinet installer. I've used this stand every work day for more than 20 years. Most of the paint is worn off but it works as well today as it did when it was new. The fence is quick, acurate, and adjustable. This saw stand gets set up and taken down every work day. It the toughest tool I own. I use it with the optional outfeed table. It not only works as an excellent jobsite table saw, it also gets used as a stand for my miter saw, assembly table, workbench, and place to eat lunch! Best money I've ever spent! Thanks Rousseau!

Work Support Review Job site portability, large saw advantages.
I've owned the PM2700D-R for 10 years now. It offers the advantages of a lightweight portable table saw with large saw cutting capability on the jobsite or in your garage. I've found set-up to be quick and easy. This unit needs minimal storage space, whether on the truck or in the shop. The cam locking fence system is sturdy and accurate, not quite Bissemeyer quality, but much better than the standard fence that came with my portable saw. This stand is 10 years old and has proven to be very durable. The locking hinge system for the legs still operates flawlessly and the entire table has held up well. I guess the only real drawback is that when my saw and stand are on the site, it's the only one that gets used...by everyone! One really cool feature is the fact that this stand doubles as a router table. This makes jobsite trim chores immensely more enjoyable. A great buy with fine quality add up to value. I've just purchased Rousseau's HD2950 Mitre saw stand, I hope it's of the same quality...but, more on that later!

Work Support Review Miracle Improvement for BenchTop Saw.
My Rousseau Portable Table Saw Stand increased the usefullness of my benchtop saw by adding a much better fence and drastically increasing the size of the table top. Folds flat & stores easily when not in use. One of my best tool purchases

Work Support Review Just the right size
These little clamps are just the right size for those small boxe's I seem to be making a lot of lately. With the soft pads and the one handed operation they make glue ups a snap on small items. Getting the right pressure on these small pieces is essential, with larger clamps it is too easy to get too much pressure and squeeze out all the glue, leaving a starved joint. These little clamps have a nice "feel", allowing you to get just the right amount of pressure to insure a strong joint.
Highly recommend.

Work Support Review Model Builder's Essential
If you build scale models and other miniatures, you will find that two or more of these clamps are part of your essential kit. They are about the closest thing you will find to untiring fingers. They can hold softly or as firmly as any screw clamp. The parts and pads seem impervious to model making solvents and chemicals.

I also use them as a simple hand vice. Fixtures and jigs that utilize clamping can be taped to the jaws. The main bar can be replaced with a brass strip if you need a greater reach, but also need the smallness of these jaws. Household repairs? No. The slightly stouter Quick-Grips are much more rigid. These are for very light work and are the right tool for the delicate work of model building

I'd give a sixth star if I could!

Work Support Review Quick clamps
These quick clamps work great. They are very easy to quickly bring to the right size and then squeeze with one hand to tighten the clamp. As someone who works alone most of the time, being able to clamp one handed is a big help.

Work Support Review Favorite Ladder
I needed a short stable ladder to for general purpose use on many job site tasks. I get a sure footing on any tread, even the wide double top tread, (although a warning label says not to climb above the first tread). It's lightweight, has a wide stance and works great as a saw horse to hold the end of a long board. I will probobly get a second one to span a length scaffolding across. It's the ladder I now reach for first on a job site.

Work Support Review IF ONLY I HAD ONE
WHILE I HAVE USED THIS LADDER AND LIKE IT VERY MUCH I ONLY WISH I HAD ONE OF MY OWN. I TRIED TO ORDER ONE BUT IT SEEMS THAT THIS LADDER CAN'T BE HAD. AND YET THEY WON'T TAKE IT OFF THEIR LIST GOOD LUCK GETTING ONE

Work Support Review Do it yourselfers friend
The Werner Portable Workstand,is part of my tool inventory and has turned out to be a irreplaceable tool. Replacing small step ladders, saw horses, and fantastic for use as a low scaffold, by placing a plank between 2 workstands.Great for hanging dry wall ceilings. The extra ladder width allows you to concentrate on your work. All this, plus the fact that they are strong, light weight, and very portable.

Work Support Review Great Saw - Just Grab And Go
I bought this saw about nine months ago just for kicks since I already had the 24 volt drill, circular saw, and recip saw. I was more than impressed when I got it. It's lightweight and easy to carry, powerful, accurate, and has a good runtime (I quit counting at 75 2x4's ). I use mine for trimming and it is ideal for this. The saw overall is a good value with 2 batteries and a one hour charger. It won't replace a corded miter saw, but it comes pretty close.

Work Support Review Cordless Compound Miter Saw
I consider myself to be an advanced do it your selfer to let you know where I'm coming from. I've always wanted a compound miter saw, and have been putting it off for one reason or another. Recently I purchased a Bosch 24 volt drill/circular saw combo kit, and noticed this miter saw kit. One of the things I liked was that the batteries were interchangeable. It comes with two, plus the two from my kit, this would enable me to have an infinite supply of power. I checked the fence, and table for square, and they were good to go right out of the box, I was in shock. By looking at the manual, if you had to make an adjustment it didn't look that difficult. If anyone has ever set up a table saw, or radial arm saw you can appreciate this. I charged the batteries and immediately put it to work cutting 2" X 6" rafters for a 12' X 18' shed that I'm working on. Please note that you can't cut more than a 15 degree miter on a 2" X 6". I have to tell you that this saw has power. The fact that it is cordless is a non event. Actually it is an event, I was re-trimming out our bedroom. Since I was cordless I didn't interrupt my homes electrical system, and I didn't have to hear my wife complain about me messing up the TV. The trigger, and safety are comfortable to use. The dust collection system works good enough. The settings are accurate, and easy to read. The safety shield doesn't obstruct your view, and works smooth. The motor brake will stop on a dime, and give you nine cents change. I really like this saw, I feel it will meet or exceed all of your expectations.

Work Support Review Large steps for comfort
I am a chicken when it comes to heights, but this step ladder's large steps/platforms (largest of ANY Cosco makes by the way) is the best step ladder around. And the tray, tool holder and papertowel rack work very well. Everyone wants to use my step stool now - in fact I just bought a second one for work use. I like it that well. Worth every penny, and the safest and most comfortable step stool around. It is a bit on the heavy side for me (a lady) to carry any distance, but I can carry it with both hands. I still know this is the best product and worth the cost.

Work Support Review handiest ladder I've found
Really wide & deep steps, large work shelf with drawer ,and even a paper towel holder. Tray/drawer are plastic, but they work fine. It's easy to fold-up and light enough to move easily.

Work Support Review Delta is still the best!!
I have a 30 year old Delta Unisaw. I have used this saw day in and day out. I have upgraded my fence to a 52" Unifence. I can't express how much this has improved my table saw. You will not go wrong with fence. Delta is the Best!!

Work Support Review Great Unifence
This is a great product easy to install, easy to operate and gives excellent results. The quality of this product is second to none.If you do a lot of ripping I would recommend this fence. The two way fence is great for ripping thick or thin material be it veneer or whatever your saw will handle.I wished I had one of these years ago, what a time saver.
