Great Gloves, Period.
These Gloves FIT!I am 6'6" tall. I have hands the size of small canoe paddles. On most XL gloves the fingers are about 1/2 to 3/4 as long as my fingers. These gloves fit. They are extremely comfortable. They seem to have a great balance between toughness and dexterity. I just used them to put up a fence, really splintery wood, no splinters. I was able to easily retrieve screws, nails etc from my tool belt. I will definately buy them again!
BEST BUY I CAN FINDI am a carpenter in Yonkers and I have tried everyone of these new kinds of gloves in the last few years. Mechanix, BucketBoss, Ringers, Ironclad, MechPro and Craftsman. None of them last as long as the General Utility by Youngstown. If you are going to pay $20 for a pair of gloves they better last. And I have been happy with these!

The BEST!I received a pair of these gloves as a gift two years ago. I have since purchased 2-3 more pairs. I wear them every time I'm working in the garden. They wear well (tough seams) and wash well(don't shrink). A terrific product.
Excellent Gloves !!So great to finally find gloves that fit !!! My job involves alot of outdoor work and I go through gloves like crazy. Best thing about these , besides the fit, is that they are very breathable. :-)
Actually , I've been using them as backup gloves for paintball in these summer months ;-)

Durable, comfortable, and functionalI've used leather work gloves for years, but these have become my favourite glove by a long, long margin. I've used them for woodworking, electrical, plumbing and general maintenance for the last year and a half, and I finally need to buy a new pair. These have just enough padding to protect your hands while having great flexibility and feel. You can peel duct tape with them on, change a blade on your chop saw, replace a wall outlet, or frame in a new room. They have just the right balance between protection and flexibility to easily cross over from delicate to rugged work. The only thing wrong with them? They're no good in the wet, they soak it right up. But that's a small price to pay for a great pair of work gloves.
I use these gloves for woodworkingThese gloves are extremely comfortable. I use them all day long when I am woodworking to prevent cuts and scrapes on my hands. I use the medium size for a nice tight fit. The gloves eventually stretch a little as you use them. I still am able to have great mobility and use them when performing tasks such as changing the saw blade on my cabinet saw.

Garden GeekThese gloves are fantastic! I have very small hands with pretty short fingers, and these are the first garden gloves I have ever found where I don't have a bunch of extra glove at the end of each finger. I can actually handle small objects with the gloves on. They are well ventilated so your hands don't get real hot, and they are extremely tough. I am ordering a second pair.

The glove to have for framers. These are the gloves to have if you are a framer. Finger tips are exposed so you can feel nails or the buttons on your cell phone. These gloves are extremely tough, yet after a minute of wearing them you forget they are there. I highly recomend these to anyone who wants a high quality glove.

Great for rough work! These are the gloves you want for summer outdoor work that's rough on the hands. You can pick up all kinds of wood without splinteres, logs, bricks, etc. anything that's rough on the hands. Note these are good for summer work, as they're not heavy for winter weather. They're also good for hiking through thick forest or woods so your hands don't get all cut up from branches and all when you're walking.
Also there is a great piece of terry cloth on the back of the top of the thumb to wipe your brow or face of sweat. Plus the back of the glove zips shut with velcro so you don't get all that crud down the glove when lifting or putting stuff down.
A reall great glove for the warm, hot weather. If you want an insulated glove for cold weather work, these are not the one.

Grizzly H3157 Deluxe Welding Gloves
Made by Grizzly

Grill masterI don't really do any welding, I am using these to handle hot stuff on my grill. For that they work great. After heating up metal racks and trays to a few hundred degrees I pick them up with confidence using these gloves.
The fingers are very nice and flexable and they insulate well without too much weight. With a good flick of the arm you can also throw them off easily (important for you if you are actually doing welding). They can get a little warm inside, but I don't see any way they couldn't.
Overall, a good product for the price.

No Really, They Work!Okay, I work in the theater industry. I run a warehouse full of dirty steel pipe and dusty cables. Now I've got small enough hands that I buy children's sizes for winter gloves. So finding the pair of work gloves which will fit me well enough that I don't have to take off one or both to tie a knot or scrawl a note is almost impossible. But I've had arthritis since age 20 and gloves are a must if I want to be able to pick up a pen at age 50. My family knows of my obsession with the subject and three years ago they bought me a pair of these gloves for my birthday.
Now first things first. I tried them on and they fit! That alone would have endeared the folks at ironclad to me. But the fact that they kept on fitting and kept on working with me every day for three years is a miracle in my business. I'm now on my second pair and I have no intention of buying anyone else's glove untill these folks stop making em!

The hard synthetic-leather patches never feel like they limit my handle on things, but keep both the gloves and my hands from getting splinters or or other shards stuck in them.
I love the little terry-cloth bit on the back of the thumb (where I don't get much wear anyway) perfect for wiping dust and grime off my face. It's the little things.
They're hard to find in the local hardware stores nowadays. Not sure why, I love these things. Granted, if you're going to mostly be doing auto-work, you probably want to look at the Mechanix line of gloves, which are suited specifically for that use (and you can't argue with Nascar pit crews). But for tougher jobs, wood, masonry, whatever, these are great.
Hands-down, a great pair of gloves.
