I have had my Alto Aero II for over two years now and have used it extensively, and it is still going strong even though I have probably over worked it by continually using a worn out cartridge filter. Because filters are rather expensive compared to Shop Vac brand I recommend this- always use the bag filters with your vacume, you can actually use Shop Vac brand bags, (at 1/3 the cost of Alto bags, and every hardware store carries them), this will make your cartridge last longer as well as making the whole process of cleaning a lot easier. The difference is that the Alto has better tools, nice detailing, and an electrical outlet for a sander or other tool for dustless working.

It's a great vac! Lots of power and very quite. Like the other review finding bags and filters is complicated. Amazon has the bags (not that there customer support folks seem to know that fact) but no filters. Amazon referred me to the Alto Corporation and they will direct you to a local distributor. This is a great vac, strong, quiet, etc...., but don't buy one unless you find a source for the bags and filters. The bags are expensive as well. It doesn't come with many tools & the hose end doesn't fit other brands of attachments. Too bad the company that makes it doesn't understand the importance of supporting a great product with the items needed to use it! When I run out of bags it will get listed on e-bay!

Every fall I have tried to keep my leaves at the curb with old blankets and sheets. Besides the fact that they look awful they really never did the job. The wind would always blow the leaves back in my yard which was a major headache. We were skeptical but tried Leaf Lock and it really did the job. I could not recommend it more. I mulched some leaves and going to use it on that pile as well.

If you are like me you dread raking the leaves in piles and then bagging them. The problem is that you have to put all the leaves in bags before you quit or else! Last weekend I raked the leaves in piles but had to quit before I could get them all bagged. I pulled out Leaf Lock and sprinkled it on the piles. Kept them in place until I could get back to bagging them the following weekend. It is really a great fall item.

I have always had a problem with my leaves blowing back in my yard so I tried this stuff. It is fantastic! I even used it for leaves that I used for a mulch pile. Again fantastic!

When the day finally came, that I received this in the mail, I was overcome with joy. At last, I had a leafblower of my own. I could control those leaves that have been conquering me for years. This blower really got the job done. I started with my yard and blew all the leaves. It was so much fun that I then cleared my neighbors yard. Soon enough, I had cleared out all the leaves on the entire block. The entire block was so happy with my efforts, that they threw a ticker-tate parade for me. I got to ride in a convertable down the boulevard just like a war hero or someone who flew a rocket to the moon. This leaf blower changed my life and has earned me the respect that have been working so hard to achieve. Thank you leaf blower. You truly are a king of kings.

I bought this blower in 1985, continually clean 3/4 acre with it and have not had any trouble with it until now. I'm thrilled to see that this exact model is still available unchanged. Will by again as soon as I can find one.

I have used this same blower for 2 years now and it's still running strong. I am a professional Showroom Auto Detailer and there is nothing better than this little blower to blast water out of grills, rims, tires, bumbers, trim, etc. after the vehicle is washed. After I blast the water from these hard to reach places the vehicle is then ready for a quick towel drying with only a single towel! Then on with the claying and or polishing and wax. A great investment that gives the most bang for the buck.

Have used this blower extensively this fall to clear leaves and debris. I have a heavily wooded lot and got tired of trying to rake around trees. Anyway...
I am very pleased with the performance of this blower. The 2.5hp engine (Kawasaki) is smooth & vibration free. Reasonably quiet, but you should still wear hearing protection. Unit is extremely light with comfortable shoulder pads and hip support.

Performance is great on dry leaves and debris (wet stuff doesn't fly as far...). The throttle lock is easy to use and the blower tube control is excellent with the ability to adjust the control angles to maximize your comfort. It really eliminates the effort of moving debris (leaves, twigs, & stuff)out from around the base of trees, building foundations, etc.
I paid $270 for this at a Husqvarna dealer (including tax) which was better than any of the prices I've seen on ebay (with shipping).

I tried out the next model up, BT155, which definitely had more air flow (3 hp), but not enough to justify th $100 price difference for homeowner.

If you need to move leaves, you can't go wrong. Before buying I tested Stihl, Echo, & Toro, blowers. I thought the Husqvarna and the Echo were the best performers, and bought the BT145 since it was $50 cheaper than the Echo.

i had a troybulit 25cc backpack bower it was garbage after 6 months so i got a McCULLOCH 32CC and saved over 50.00 dollars i know mcculloch is good because i,ve got there weed eater too.

I love this Shop-Vac so much that I do not have a regular vacuum cleaner anymore! I use this machine for everything from cleaning the cars to vacuuming the floors, and cleaning up spills. This one is better than previous shop facts because I have not had any problems with it falling over, or had any problems with the float getting stuck up at the top of the machine. This was a great buy, and has paid for itself many times over!

What can I say its a vac bag its the same as the original, the zip was the item that broke on mine and it has NOT been improved on this one I purchased so we'll see. The inlet port hole now has a tie instead of my velco.
