This appliance lacks several common items one would expect and should find in a vacuum costing this amount. For example, the cord is only about eighteen inches long and the tank is round and is unstable without feet or a flat spot on its bottom to keep it upright when you set it in place. And, the hose is ridiculously short. I added about a fifteen foot cord and intend to add feet to make it stable. I also used a hose from a vacuum I purchased previously. Power is decent is no more so than much less expensive vacuums commonly available at discount stores. I wouldn't recommend purchase at half its cost.

I bought this specifically because I wanted to have a better way to mulch my leaves than my mulching mower. 10:1 sounded great. After an hour of use, I have to say the ratio is close to 10:9. It is going back tomorrow. My mulching mower does much better!

If you havent already purchased this item, don't. It continually jams up, the key elements are plastic and the designer of this item used a dainty little zipper on the collection bag that basically renders it useless (because it breaks after several uses) Sears make a terrific leaf vacuum (push mower design) with an attachment for getting between shrubs and tight areas.
As for the Leaf Hog...it's a clunker everyone should avoid.

I guess then I will have to order more than one bag to replace the replacement bag when it too breaks prematurely.

I'm an unfortunate owner of a B&D Leaf Hog & also have problems with that miserable collection bag. The zipper on mine is fine but one of the two cheap plastic tabs in the collar broke almost immediately (rendering the bag useless). I wasted my time jury rigging a screw/nut to replace the broken tab. I now get about 30 seconds of run-time before the bag blasts off. I also, like one of the other reviewers, purchased their hose for a trashcan and it's as sad as their collection bag.

Do yourself a favor & buy a higher-end Toro unit.

I own the product Echo Pb-200 leaf blower for a little over a year, and it quit running just out of warranty.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT. THE WARRANTY IS USELESS, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A SHAME. TRYING TO FIND A WARRANTY SERVICE DEALER IS A NIGHTMARE. STAY CLEAR OF THIS.

I regret purchasing this item. It has almost no suction and its a wonder that it can pick up anything at all.
