Great quality and great price. If you need a comfortable and easy to use hedge shear, purchase this one. The man in the family, says was the best purchase I have made in a long time. He liked this one and says is of exceptional quality

This would probably work fine if you owned a condo or apartment and just a sidewalk and very small yard. The hedge trimmers worked the best out of the group, but I did have to make several passes before it got everything. The blower worked ok also, but again several passes had to be made. The weed eater was fine for grass, but it couldn't do anything with over grown ivy.

I have used cordless grass/hedge trimmers in the past but have been only moderately happy with them as they are not very powerful and don't have long run times on a charge. I prefer them over gas or corded units though and so I have stuck with them.

Recently my old cordless grass trimmer died on me and I did some searching on the internet for a new unit. I came across the Black & Decker CCC3000 18-Volt Cordless Lawncare Center with Charging & Storage Station during my searching and it seemed to offer significant improvements with the 3 interchangeable batteries and a 3 battery charger station.

We have about a 1 acre yard which is largely grass with some trees/shrubs around the house. With the 3 interchangeable batteries and the 3 battery charging station included with the CCC3000, I can get all the grass trimming done on one set of charges. The grass trimmer is powerful enough when running on a well charged battery. Same with the hedge trimmer which does a nice job on trimming yews, junipers, cedars, cottoneasters. The blower is a nice extra to get the grass/debris off the driveway and sidewalk. The package is reasonably priced and replacement batteries can be purchased. The batteries are recycable and the cost of recycling is prepaid.

I don't recommend items that I have purchased unless I have been very pleased them. This Black & Decker CCC3000 18-Volt Cordless Lawncare Center with Charging & Storage Station is one that I recommend.

For what this product is, it has exceeded my expectations. I wanted a lightweight, quick and easy cordless string trimmer and blower (with the CCC3000 you also get a light hedge trimmer as well).

Yes, it pulls the 18 volt batteries down quickly, but I have found on my "almost" 3/4 acre lot, that the three included batteries with this kit can trim my entire fence and curb line, and also blow my driverway and patio off without re-charging. Sometimes, I admit, I really need that fouth battery (am thinking about springing for another stand-alone 18 volt blower which has a charger and two batteries), but these tools are so convenient and lightweight, the quick run-down has really been a small price to pay.

I have heavy duty gas versions of each, but have used the trimmer once since buying this kit. I love these tools, and my wife thinks they are GREAT - she loves the switch on and go, along with the super light weight.

I would buy again. I am not easy to impress, but this kit has my vote.

This is a good tool but it needs some tweeking to make it great. The handle is too long for a short person, it should be adjustable along the length. The blade should also swivel a full circle (ball joint) to allow for lawn edging, as it is now designed you have to stand directly over the area being cut with the blade straight downward - very painful to the sholders especially with the handles been too long for the petite gardener

This shear is a back saver. Need a little time to get used to the many position you can use. A best buy.

I bought these shears to get at the weeds around the base of my roses. I have over 300 feet of roses where the star thistle, bermuda grass and other weeds love to grow. The Fiskars Gardener's Shears made the work a lot easier and I can get closer to the plants than I can with a weed eater. The rotating blades also make it easy to get into odd places and cut the grass along fences and around rocks. I highly recommend this tool.

The cordless shears work fine on their own, but the extension handle makes the job easier by allowing you to remain standing. You even get 2 little wheels to attach to the shears, so you can roll along the sidewalk or under the hedge.

i purchased my grass clipper last summer, without the extension handle and soon discovered that crawling around the yard on my hands and knees just plain hurts! so i bought the handle and within 5 minutes had it assembled and ready to go. it makes using the grass clipper much easier except for having to hold the on button continuously...my hand cramps up after about 15 minutes. but aside from that i think this is a great product.

This handle makes my grass trimmer the easiest item to use. I have not had it very long so I can not attest to its durability but it does the job for me

This clipper is a big scissors, that's all. There's no rotation of the blades relative to the handle, as the ad on Amazon says. My pair is OK, but the spring is a real workout machine, and I'm wondering how to lighten it a bit. I find that the shears gum up with grass juice very quickly, and then the blades bind (won't open with the spring). I carry a wrung-out rag while I'm trimming and wipe the blades quite often to keep them free of drying grass juice. This works, and I'm able to keep on snipping for as long as I want. The shears are sharpenable, and the construction seems strong. I really would like to ease that spring -- that stiff spring is really my only beef with these.

This is a fine quality tool. With proper maintenance, I can see these shears lasting a lifetime. I've been using my set for two years now.I've even thinned out some rather thick and woody stuff and so far, with flawless performance.Remember to clean the tool when you are finished,lubricate them and always maintain a sharp edge.With that in mind, these guys will last forever.I do recommend this set of shears. Now get out there and shear that hedge.

Poor blade quality means frequent jams. Limited run-time. Uncomfortable to operate with small to medium size hand. Save your money. This item deserves 0 stars.

I had a cordless grass shear about 20 years ago. I decided I was not happy with anything I found on the market today and thought to give this old product a try. It did the trick, I am very pleased. I only wish the charge could last longer.

I've had the cordless shears for several years, and I love them.I bought this pair for my daughter lest she steals mine.They are perfect for trimming around and under things I want to protect from string trimmers. (Trees and fences).

Not what I expected...FISKARS are supposed to be high quality stainless made in Finland. These are ordinary steel, ordinary pruners, made in the USA for Fiskars. I returned them. Fiskars Garden Shears Model 9637 are the real thing. But now that these pruners are reduced in price, as long as you know what you are getting, they aren't a bad buy.

These work fine on green wood up to 1/2" in diameter, but anything larger needs more leverage. The lock is easy to use and very accessable, making one hand operations a breeze. The best thing about these is that they'll fit in your back pocket and stay locked. I also have a ratcheting, anvil style clipper that works much better on slightly larger twigs with much less effort.

I like these a lot -- I bought them last May to cut back our lilac and forsythia bushes which hadn't been pruned in several years. The shears cut easily through both thick and thin stems, you can even cut several thin branches at once. I've since used them on average of once a week to cut and trim back tree branches and saplings as well as roses and other bushes. Fwiw, they do tend to do better on green or growing wood than on dead branches. As another reviewer noted, the foam handle covers can slide off but I glued mine back on and haven't had any problems since. The blades are easy to keep clean and the lock keeps them locked even if you say, toss them on the grass or a chair. Note, these aren't for pruning large tree branches or tough, thick bushes but they're great for basic pruning.

Unfortunately, for such a handy product, the sharpness of the blades does not last beyond a few uses. Even filing the blades to re-sharpen them does not work. Be prepared to replace the blades often, which are not cheap. It's a shame the quality of the blades is so poor--probably the cheap metal used--because it damages the reputation of Black and Decker.

While it is a shame I cannot sharpen the blade on my trimmer, the replacement is as easy to install as a lightbulb. Four screws out, replace blade, four screws in---that's it! Very simple!

does not operate properly. the blades do not close all the way. a defective product but amazon's return policy is so convoluted that i can't waste my time trying to return it for the cost of the item.

Our shears worked well enough, for a time this summer. They they broke in half. Not very sturdy, I'd say.

The first pair of shears I received weren't working properly, but I called the 800 number of the package and was immediately sent another pair--and they work great. I particularly like the long blade and the ability for the blade to swivel.
