Rakes Review This is the FINEST
Hooray for me. I must have got the last one on Amazon. Just used it a few days ago. I am a 5'4 female and was able to handle it no problem. Now for the best-This REALLY does move large amounts of snow off the roof, fast, effecient and it does not fall on you. Goes right down the plastic. The first snow I tried it on was very wet and heavy. Will probable be a breeze w/the lighter stuff. I still can't believe it works as well as it does. Even if you can't find one on sale, Pay the 99.00 and rejoice.

Rakes Review Avalanche parts
Parts can be ordered from the Avalanche company, located in Plymouth, Minnesota. Their number is 1-800-378-3088. Hope this helps you up in Michigan, Fritz!

Rakes Review Part needed
I am a 67 year old male who lives in the snow country of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Our snow fall has exceeded 195 inches to date and I have had to remove snow from the roofs of our home and garage twice. The Avalanche make this easy. However, I have a problem. I need to replace the plastic slide sheets on each of my avalanches (I own two) as they are badly torn because of excessive use. My avalanches are the true originals. The plastic slide sheets are 21 3/4 inches wide and I have had no success in finding replacements. I would appreciate any assistance I can get in locating slide sheets with this dimension. Other than this problem, the Avalanche is a wonderful snow removal tool.

Rakes Review Solved all of my headaches
Every fall I have tried to keep my leaves at the curb with old blankets and sheets. Besides the fact that they look awful they really never did the job. The wind would always blow the leaves back in my yard which was a major headache. We were skeptical but tried Leaf Lock and it really did the job. I could not recommend it more. I mulched some leaves and going to use it on that pile as well.

Rakes Review Wonderful fall item
If you are like me you dread raking the leaves in piles and then bagging them. The problem is that you have to put all the leaves in bags before you quit or else! Last weekend I raked the leaves in piles but had to quit before I could get them all bagged. I pulled out Leaf Lock and sprinkled it on the piles. Kept them in place until I could get back to bagging them the following weekend. It is really a great fall item.

Rakes Review Loved the stuff!!!
I have always had a problem with my leaves blowing back in my yard so I tried this stuff. It is fantastic! I even used it for leaves that I used for a mulch pile. Again fantastic!

Rakes Review My new gardening basic tool...
When it comes to having an easy and useful garden tool; this little rake is it. Have you ever started to work in your vegetable or flower bed and realized that your "big" rake would tear out your tender plants? And, you needed something small to rake out between plants?

This rake is well made and light weight. Once you start using it; you will take it with you all through your gardens. Raking with this works well for wildflower planting. Wildflower seeds need to be raked in gently. Most large rakes would go too deep and bury the seed... which you don't want. This little honey just skims the top of the soil enough to mix the seed in; but, not bury it. Use it to cover vegetable seeds lightly after planting; without having to bend over or use a heavy hoe. I recommend this for every avid gardener. It makes a good gift for a new gardener or a gardener in need of more tools. Add some garden gloves, a bib garden apron with lots of pockets, and a new plant... for a super gift any gardener would love.

This rake is priced right and as a gift; it will be used for years to come... Not added to a box of junk for next years garage sale... *wink*.

Rakes Review Great rake. Got all the leaves!
What a great rake. I got all the leaves in one pass. Light, flexible, strong. I'm very happy with this leaf rake purchase.

Rakes Review Solid, straight-forward, simple
This is a great rake for clearing stuff out of your lawn. The tines are strong and well-spaced, the handle is long and comfortably padded, and the rake pulls together grass and other trimmings, leaves, etc., quickly and simply. In other words, it does what you want a rake to do.

Some assembly is required -- you attach the head of the rake to the shaft by positioning it and then putting in a single screw. The shaft is made of a fairly hard wood, so this is not completely easy, but once it is done, the rake feels solid and strong. I've had no problems with it so far.

Rakes Review Rake with your lawn tractor.
This product is wonderful I was so glad that I ordered it after having over thirty very tall trees removed from my yard I was faced with hand raking nearly an acre of land. The entire area was full of mounds of wood chips that needed to be raked flat and used to fill the many tire tracts left from the heavy equipment. With the Harrow Rake I just drove around the yard on my lawn tractor and let it do the work. It raked the mounds down and filled all the depressions with no hard work on my part and it did not tear up the grass.

Rakes Review The best magnetic cleanup tool hands down
By combining teeth with the great idea of a magnetic sweep, the magna rake performs better than any others for multi purpose job cleanup. It gets the nails that are in the dirt by 'digging in'. A must if you remodel or build, and one of the best prices too!

Rakes Review Perfect tool for the job
I bought this Agri-Fab lawn dethatcher to bring my lawn back to life, and found it to be the perfect tool for the job. This is the smallest lawn dethatcher offered by Agri-Fab, but I found it to perform brilliantly on my 1 acre lawn.

The tool arrived on my doorstep requiring some simple assembly. It took about 45 minutes to fully unpack and assemble the product. The packaging was very good, and I felt that it offered great protection during shipping. The user manual is also the assembly guide, and I had no issues with the documentation. The documentation was available in both English and Spanish. Once assembled, the tool is not meant to be folded away or taken apart again, so make sure you have a safe place to store it. The dethatching tines are steel, and can be dangerous!

The dethatcher is fully adjustable to fit your tractor or mower hitch, and the tines are further adjustable to provide the right amount of "bite" into your lawn. The dethatcher accepts standard accessory weights if you wish to add more cutting depth to the tines. The skids on the tool work very well, especially on my hard clay soil.

I found the product to work as expected, and it far surpassed my expectations of such a small and inexpensive unit. I would recommend buying the right tool for the job however, so if you have a lawn over 1 acre, or a larger tractor, you'd be better off buying a larger dethatcher. Agri-Fab has many to choose from.

My lawn consists of Zoysia grass which is very dense and builds up thatch quite easily. I dethatch twice a year, and remove about 12 bushels of material each time. Agri-Fab has provided me with a durable and inexpensive tool to complete my job. I highly recommend this one folks... five stars all the way!

Rakes Review Poor Mulcher yet Very Good Blower for small areas
I gave up trying to use the muclhing feature. The machine does not have enough power to effectively vacuum my large oak leaves leaves. However, It does work on small amounts of little and very dry leaves.

As an electric leaf blower, it operates as described. The convience of electric means trading messy gas motors for a cord that trails. It is more powerful than the price would suggest, yet it is not a proffessional grade blower.

The bottom line is that it is convienent for blowing leaves from decks and porches, and it can vacuum up 'easy' leaves in small areas like window wells.

      Rakes Review outstanding lawn vac
I use the Toro Rake & Vac primarily for vacuming leaves on the lawn and grass clippings on the walks and driveway. So far (after 3 uses) I find this product very helpful and a time saver. The zipper on the bag has not detached as had occurred on other vacs I had previously used.

Rakes Review Blowing power is great; haven't tried vac/mulching yet
After cutting our lawn, we'd always have grass clippings lying over our front porch, sidewalk, and driveway. I got so tired of always getting out there with a broom - which only cleared about half of the mess - that I decided to buy a blower. When I saw the difference in price between a blower and a blower/vac/mulcher was very little, I decided to give the Toro 51573 a try.

After cutting the lawn again, I was anxious to try out my new toy. The first time I turned it on I literally elevated on to my toes... That's how much power this thing has. It was so liberating to watch our grass leftovers be COMPLETELY cleared from every area in less than ten miutes. I also blew all of the little pebbles off of our driveway, and I plan on tackling all the dirt and debris that's found a resting spot on our garage floor. Of course, when using the blower you have to be careful where you aim. Once I accidently let the blowing stream get too close to my mulch and had to go patch that spot later - LOL.

I can actually say that I'm looking forward to fall when all the leaves drop so I can try out the vac/mulching capabilities. My father - who is near 60 - has two giant trees in his front yard and three in his back yard. Every year he has to rake around 30 bags of leaves, and I'd like to give him a break. After the Toro 51573 and I have a go at his yard later this year, I'll update my review with the results...

Rakes Review My 5 year old liked it anyway
Someone claims to have raked 1/2 acre with this? I wonder how long that took? 2 days? This rake is very tiny. My daughter likes to play in the sand with it, and it is just the right size for that. It is not a full sized rake. The quality is okay, though.

      Rakes Review Good quality
I use mine for clearing leaves and other debris from in bushs and around plants. It is great for those purposes. The idea of using it for a yard rake is totally rediculous.

Rakes Review A "Jewell" of a Tool
From the moment I pulled this out of the box, I knew it would quickly become one of my favorite garden tools. The painted finish is excellent, high quality, and the telescoping mechanism works great with a positive "click" to set it at any convenient length. Great bang for the buck...if you're looking for a versatile hand tool it would be hard to beat this one!
