I have several lengths of hose as well as multiple end tools, i.e. sprayer, pressure washer, ect., these waterstop connectors really make it easy to swap out different end tools quickly. Just be aware of the pressure backwash from the downstream side when disconnecting a length of hose out of a string!

You can buy a garage full of garden products that may last a weekend. Or you can buy Gardena products and use them for years. I was delighted to learn that Amazon was stocking Gardena. Used the products in my previous home for ten years without one problem. Easy to use. Impossible to throw away.

I have had many lawns, gardens, and homes. The ever present question is (1) where to place the hose, (2) how to store the hose when not in use and (3) will the hose last, year in and year out? This hose storage device is PHENOMENAL. I have already bought another for both our side and back yards. The key here is the rolling device on the front of the box that automatically weaves your hose onto the spool while cranking the hose back into place. Traditional hose carriers have no such device, and as a result, the hose often gets tangled or bunched into on location on the hose spool. No such problem arises with this grand device. You simply turn the crank, and the hose finds its way onto the reel in an even and predictable and untangled manner. This is a no brainer device, the kind that can be enjoyed and relied upon by gardening veteran and small child alike. You cant beat the price, and even with a ... shipping add-on it is still going to beat Home Depot's best garden hose box because of the auto-spooler function. Well worth the wait, and well worth the money. Look no further for a garden hose storage device. (Oh yeah, one last thing is that this box-design with a permanent top is critical for keeping your hose out of the sun everyday, it's the sun, remember, that ultimately destroys all garden hoses)

My long, rectangular, unused, cemented driveway is bordered by narrow gardening lanes. Moisture Master has been the answer to my frustration of efficiently, and safely irrigating my plants and vegetables, while conserving water. Prior to discovering this 'answer to my prayer', my options were two: an unacceptable, time consuming [hold the hose myself]daily watering; or utilize an inefficient, wasteful sprinkler that not only eroded my cement, but penetrated the decorative stone siding on my home. Well, quality, efficiency, durability came in one reasonably priced purchase, the Moisture Master...my pocket's and plants' - best friend'!

Got some real nice things that make it easy to program. I think it took me 5 minutes to set it up and I was gone. I'll have to admit that I didn't bother trying to use it's custom programs...seems too complicated.

purchased this item and within a week purchased another. excellent construction, built to last. newer model now shipped with stainless steel mounting hardware for wood or brick. truly top of the line product.

Through the years I have bought many different types of garden hose reels. Some expensive and some inexpensive. This hose reel may be a little pricey, but it will perform better and outlast all the other hose reels I've owned.
If you're looking for true quality, this is the hose reel to get.

This is an extremely durable, well-made hose reel. However, it doesn't include a mounting hardware kit (i.e., screws) or even so much as written advice as to what mounting screws will ideally support its weight. Unfortunately, you'll need to guess and find the right mounting screws or toggle-bolts on your own. Despite these short-comings, I still highly recommend this reel as it was by far the most well-engineered product I could find on the market (no leaks/drips as the connection points, either).

Did not install and try to use it. Will probable start to use in the spring.

I do love the Hozelock, I just wish it had been made with a larger diameter hose. The hose is thinner than a regular garden hose, making the water come out slower. That increases watering time, and filling a kiddie pool takes much longer. Other than that, it works great. I've had mine for 5 years and no problems.

This hose holder is attractive and easily installed. However, after one day outside the decorative center tile fell off.

This is a beautiful garden hose holder. We actually painted it blue and changed the tile to a Mexican sunflower title, but it's overall beauty is the wrought iron which is unique in a garden. I have gotten many complements of it. It presently holds a 50 feet long hose without any problem. A must! for a garden which needs something graceful and still adds an accents to the garden. I wish they had more available.

We have been working to add little touches to our house that give it that extra flare. We have been slowly collecting pieces inside and out in terra cotta and Mexican art. This hose is really good looking and adds so much to the wall that our deck lands on. I haven't seen anything like it anywhere and we get compliments on it all the time.

As might be expected from the price this hose is well made. The fittings feel substantial and the hose itself is made of a sturdy material. Although it's rated at 50' the useful length is probably slightly more than half that as the constant coil keeps quite a bit of tension in place. I personally use it exclusively to remove built up ice and slush from vehicles during the winter. The light weight is a plus and it stores easily adding to its ease of use. Would be a poor choice for use with a sprinkler due to the coil and reduced pressure that results from the small inside diameter of the hose.

First encountered (and started using) Gardena products 15 years ago while living in Europe. The Gardena products are very common in Britain/Europe; available wherever gardening supplies are sold. The "quick-on"/"quick-off" hose attachments work very well. They save a lot of time and frustration in making/breaking connections. Light weight (but heavy duty) plastic. Seals on the "male" accessories are provided by an "O" rings every four or five years these might need replacing; available for 25 cents at any good hardware.
