I am a professional horticulturist. I insist each of my crew members has this knife in their pocket while gardening. It's incredibly flexible - great for weeding, deadheading, digging seedlings and a thousand other little jobs.

Though usually sold as a pruning knife, this is a great single blade knife. The cutting edge is only sharpened on one side, and is very sharp.

This knife is sturdy and well made. Consider for a moment, 95% of the time a pocket knife is used, it is to cut something; a single blade knife is perfect.

With no loosening of the blade, mine has lasted for years.

I got the 28" splitting axe and liked it so much I got the 28" chopper. At that time I got the Fiskars sharpener and let me tell you that after a few passes I got both axes to shave hairs off of my forearm. These cost a little more than the regular axes but if you take pride in your tools and like functional beauty they are well worth it. To those that say that the handle still breaks well you can break just about anything if you mis-use it. I hear the warranty is pretty good.

you need to get used to the short handle, but after that you won't use anything else. incredible splitter for how light it is. excellent camp tool. stays sharp , excellent metals

This axe is a lightweight, yet powerful cutter. It's great from removing branches from downed trees and for cutting through the tree itself. Very versatile. It will split wood, or cut through a large tree trunk. Handle is virtually unbreakable. I've used it for a pry bar. The cutting edge can easily be sharpened such that it will shave the hair off your arm!

I have found this item to be extremely useful and convenient, especially when we have to empty out the lawn mower bag after cutting the grass.

Though very utilitarian, this is one of the best ideas in yard cleanup items I've come across. It's light and manuverable. The bottom handle for easy tipping demonstrates the thoughtfulness of the design. And of course, the space it saves when collapsed for storage is just the icing on the cake.

I bought this because Fiskers are quality products and you get so much with this. I needed the pruners especially because we just bought a house. Take care and buy it!

I've had this set for several months, and I've been using it far more than I expected. First, the folding scissors are great for my needlework projects. Small and compact, I have them on a ribbon (there's an "eye" on one of the handles that works well for this), and keep them handy in my project tote. These aren't your typical cheesy folding scissors -- they're much higher quality, sharp, and easily to control.

The angled scissors are in my kitchen "tool" drawer, and work well for all of the typical kitchen tasks.

The pruners get the most use. I do my own flower arrangements when I can, and these work *beautifully* for preparing the blooms. They cut cleanly through the woodier stems, strip thorns from roses, and crush the stem ends to facilitate water absorption. A quick rinse, and they're ready to go.

Finally, I used the tin to house three 4" pots of herbs on my south-facing kitchen window sill. It has a traditional yet stylish look, and it's easy to snip off a few sprigs of thyme or marjoram while I'm cooking.

I recently came home to several fallen branches. I was able to cut through 4" wide branches with incredible ease and speed. Fantastic!

I used this mailbox for years when I lived in rural areas and had mail delivery via car (instead of my current in-town, walking-mailman delivery sevice). The best feature of this box is the fact that magazines and large envelopes can lay flat inside - allowing all the mail to stay in better condition. I also really appreciated the "mail's here" flag that pops up when the mailman puts the mail in the box - meaning no more walks down the driveway to find an empty mailbox. This box mounts to any standard 4x4 post or any of the pre-made decorative mailbox posts found in home centers. Though I found this box made of durable, weather resistant plastic, my only complaint was when winter weather got very cold the box would crack if anything bumped into it (such as when it got clipped by a snow plow or a careless neighbor). Other than that small and infrequest problem, for the money I found this to be the best mailbox one could own in rural areas. Highly recommended!

When it comes to having an easy and useful garden tool; this little rake is it. Have you ever started to work in your vegetable or flower bed and realized that your "big" rake would tear out your tender plants? And, you needed something small to rake out between plants?

This rake is well made and light weight. Once you start using it; you will take it with you all through your gardens. Raking with this works well for wildflower planting. Wildflower seeds need to be raked in gently. Most large rakes would go too deep and bury the seed... which you don't want. This little honey just skims the top of the soil enough to mix the seed in; but, not bury it. Use it to cover vegetable seeds lightly after planting; without having to bend over or use a heavy hoe. I recommend this for every avid gardener. It makes a good gift for a new gardener or a gardener in need of more tools. Add some garden gloves, a bib garden apron with lots of pockets, and a new plant... for a super gift any gardener would love.

This rake is priced right and as a gift; it will be used for years to come... Not added to a box of junk for next years garage sale... *wink*.

This is one of a life time of real value; saved me over $2000.00 in a permanent underground system. My cost will be only $350.00 maybe. Product is WELL MADE, EASY to install.... but better yet, customer service on manufactor's end is the best I have experienced in my life time; well, that is a bit inflated; BUT it is EXCELLENT

I admit it - I'm very, very ambivalent about harming any creature, even one that tears up our lawn the way moles do. But after one of our kids fell and nearly broke a leg in one of the numerous mole holes in our yard we (reluctantly) decided to cut down on the mole invasion. We did not want or need another emergency trip to the doctor's office. We also have elderly parents who visit often and the thought of THEIR falling was frightening to us.

Bottom line on these traps - THEY WORK. If you want a trap that quickly kills moles, these do. They also seem to keep suffering to a minimum. I'm not even sure the moles DO suffer because I was walking to the mailbox and felt one of these traps go off. The mole was dead by the time I pulled it out, less than a minute later.

Our lawn is no longer full of dangerous mole holes. I admit...if we'd only had an occasional mole hole, I would have stayed away from traps. We are animal lovers. We have pets.

But the situation was becoming dangerous. I didn't want anyone to get hurt walking across our yard.

after $100.00 in smoke bombs and spring loaded spike traps, we gave up on the mole invasion. we called and exterminator who used these same traps. they didn't miss. he caught six in two days. we found these traps on-line and ordered two. about a month later we saw another mole tunnel. next day we had him. be very careful setting these traps, they are very powerful. by the way, the exterminator gets $50.00 a mole.

I bought this mailbox because I order frequently online and receive most of my packages in USPS priority mail boxes. Boy, was I disappointed to find some priority boxes wouldn't fit. While the opening is big enough to accept the priority mailboxes, the way the "hopper" is constructed keeps them from being deposited. Otherwise, I would have rated this mailbox 5 stars. Note: this does NOT refer to the Junior model.

My wife and I liked the style of this mailbox, so we bought it. It has a locked storage compartment, so you can go away for a week and not have to stop the mail. It appears well made with heavy gauge steel (and the mail stays dry when its raining outside).

Because its rectangular, you want to make sure the post is plumb while it sets in concrete. You could always shim the mailbox with washers to trim it later if need be.

Only issue is that it takes a bit of wiggling to get the key into the lock (the key hole weather shield sticks a little).

Overall we are very satisfied with this mailbox.
