Lawn and Garden Review It doesn't work at all.
I bought two of this Bite Shield. There is a small fan to blow out some smell of chemical. The mosquito doesn't care about the smell. I was surrounded by mosquitoes and got bite the same as without this product. There is almost no wind. It is really disappointed.

Lawn and Garden Review good for children's bedroom
I have purchased Lentek Bite Shield because it is the only product I was able to find, that works on the same principle as european mosquito repellents I am used to. I needed it for my daughter's bedroom so I couldn't use any type of candles for the safety reasons and I didn't want to use anything that rubbs directly on the skin since she has extremely sensitive skin. Lentek Bite Shild seems to work pretty well, she got bitten only once - the night I forgot to turn it on. Now I plan to buy the adapter to plug it in the outlet. That way I would be sure that the batteries wouldn't die in the middle of the night.

Lawn and Garden Review I can't believe it works!
I am amazed. My mom sent this to me after I'd complained about already being eaten alive by mosquitos this year. I don't just get bites; I get huge, oddly shaped, so-itchy-they're-almost-painful, welts. And I am that person who attracts every single biting insect. I have often wished that I sweated DEET. However, I don't.

I tried this dubiously, first in the morning--I'd been getting bites every day between 8 and 10am (even with high % deet). --No bites.-- I still didn't believe it. I used it again that evening--after a rainstorm had come through--from about 6pm to 10pm. No bites! It comes with a belt clip, but I left it outside at one point when I came inside. The second I left its side, a mosquito landed on me.

I have, since then, used it several more times, no insect spray at all, and it's been very muggy around here. Absolutely no bites. I have seen a couple more bees than usual, and it turns out that the ingredient this blows out (geraniol) is said to attract bees. Not a big deal to me.

It apparently doesn't work for everyone. I have always assumed that there is some sort of chemical I give off that makes mosquitos head straight for me, bypassing everyone else. (I might be at a party where no one else even sees a mosquito and I leave with over a dozen bites.) I wonder if the geraniol somehow combines with whatever it is that I put out and neutralizes it. This could explain why it would work for some people and not other people.

At this price, it's worth it to find out if you are one of the people for whom it might work! I figure if I replace the cartridge every 2 weeks (~$3.50/cartridge), I will even be saving money because I'd been going through 1-2 cans of high-deet bug spray per week.

Lawn and Garden Review DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS JUNK
This has got to be the worst invention by TORO ever made. I bought this to replace another battery powered weedeater a RYOBI, I should have just bought another one of them, which is What I will do after this one is returned. EVERYTHING that you read BAD about this in all the reviews is TRUE and then some. In the first 10 second of using this I realized I made a very very bad purchase. too HEAVY string BREAKS........... trigger is a hassle I could go on and on but won't Take my word for it DON'T BUY IT!!!!!!!!!

Lawn and Garden Review Clunky, heavy, reasonably powerful.
I'm in agreement with the others who are unhappy with this unit. It's heavy, the strap is inadequate, and the amount of hand power required to depress the trigger and safety is ridiculous. After 15 minutes of use, I can barely manage 30 seconds of on time (male, 36 years old, no degenerative skeletal or muscular problems.) The line does break frequently. It won't take down weeds with stems bigger than pencils. Since I own it already and my yard is small I'll probably disable the trigger safety and rewind the core with heavier line, warrantee be damned. Would not buy again, would not recommend.

Lawn and Garden Review Easy
Don't understand the reviews below. The "trigger" reqires very little force. It's a little heavy, but it's battery powered. My 5'0" tall 95lbs wife uses it and has no problems. I would highly recommend product.

Lawn and Garden Review BROKE ON FIRST USE
I HAVE SEVERAL GARDENA PRODUCTS AND HAVE BEEN MOSTLY SATISFIED BUT I SHOULD HAVE TRUSTED THE REVIEWS ON THIS ONE ITEM. IT IS SUB STANDARD. LEAKED FROM THE BOTTOM ON THE FIRST USE AND HAS AN UNEVEN SPREAD.

Lawn and Garden Review Worked for less than a day.
I purchased this from Amazon two weeks ago, and the first time I set it up and used it I was very impressed. It has a wide and thick spray of water, and it did a wonderful job. I moved the sprinkler to another area and it quit working. No movement, just a spray of water.

I tried everything from changing the water flow to manually moving the mechanism. Nothing worked.

I figure it cost me twenty bucks to water a small part of my yard for half an hour.

Avoid this product.

Lawn and Garden Review Gardena lawn sprinkler
I've had many lawn sprinklers before and I certainly feel this Gardena sprinkler is the best--the very best for watering a lawn and/or flower beds. Price is right too!

Lawn and Garden Review Hate Luv-Cart
The Luv-Cart is without a doubt the most useless piece of equipment I ever purchased. Aside from assembly which is not difficult once you are able to spring the two halfs together, the thing simply will not operate on grass without pushing it with great force and much slower than a wheelbarrow and don't even think about going up a very slight grade - empty! If you are tempted to buy this under-powered piece of junk - run away - fast!

Lawn and Garden Review Mary B
I love my LUV cart. It handles a heavy load and can travel through thick grass. I filled it with sand (200 lbs) and ran the full cart across grass without a problem. It is fairly easy to tip forward to dump its contents. I'm almost 50 and I'm in need of equipment that can do the "heavy" work for me. I paid $250 for my cart a year ago, a price that was more in-line with my budget. It was a very good buy for me.

Lawn and Garden Review Luv Cart does more than your regular wheelbarrow!
When the parts first arrived we couldn't get the tub to go together. We called the manufacturer and they went above and beyond to get us what we needed to assemble our new Luv Cart! I just completed a major landscaping renovation and needed to move bushes that weighed over 50 lbs. I don't think it would have been possible without using this great product. We also spread over 12 yards of mulch and got it done in record time since the only muscle we needed was getting the mulch into the wagon. Our professional landscaper invested in two after using ours. Makes gardening even more fun!!!

Lawn and Garden Review No Pressure, knocks stuff over
I am an Extension Agent who specializes in Horticulture and I can tell you that this is a poor idea for a product. First, there is insufficient flow though the narrow hose. It takes a long time to properly water with this product. The second major flaw is that once you're more than a few feet from spigot, the hose tends to make a straight line between you and it thereby knocking over pots and breaking fragile stems. The retraction "feature" also makes it hard to set a sprinkler out in the yard without staking it down. You would be better served by buying a quality supple hose and spending the 45 seconds (I timed it) to properly wind a hose. This might be okay for someone in a Condo or only has a few plants on a deck.

Lawn and Garden Review DISAPPOINTING
I THOUGHT A $50 HOSE FOR $20 WOULD BE A WISE PURCHASE. I THOUGHT THE TRANSPARENT BLUE LOOKED COOL AND THAT THE COILED FORM WOULD SAVE EFFORT WHEN WATERING. I AM DISAPPOINTED IN THE HOSE FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS: 1. THE HOSE SOMETIMES KINKED CUTTING OFF ALL FLOW WHEN TRYING TO STRETCH THE COILS OUT. 2. THE FITTINGS LEAKED EVEN AFTER USING PLIERS TO TIGHTEN THEM. 3.WHEN WATERING YOU ARE ACTUALLY HOLDING UP MORE LENGTH OF HOSE (AND THE WATER IN IT) THAN A NORMAL HOSE AND THE EXTRA WEIGHT IS MORE FATIGUEING. 4. THE COILS ACTUALLY GET CAUGHT ON THINGS MUCH MORE THAN THE NORMAL HOSE. 5. THE $15 CRAFTSMAN HOSES PURCHASED AT SEARS HALF-PRICE SALES FOR $7.50 ARE ACTUALLY EASIER TO USE THAN THIS $20 HOSE. 6. THE FLOW RATE THROUGH THE SMALLER DIAMETER IS SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED.
THUS, I COULD SEE CERTAIN VERY LIMITED APPLICATIONS WHERE THIS HOSE MIGHT BE A PLUS; BUT FOR THE GREAT MAJORITY OF NEEDS AROUND THE YARD IT IS ACTUALLY LESS USEFUL THAN A NORMAL HOSE...WHETHER $50 OR $20. HOPE THIS WAS HELPFUL TO YOU.

Lawn and Garden Review Cool Looking
This hose is cool looking and that is the only cool thing about it too.

Lawn and Garden Review Didn't work for me
When I first got this home, it seemed to do the trick ok. The mice really avoided it, however we could still hear them across the room. I was going to order a couple more to place around the room, but they walk right past it now! It doesn't seem to affect them at all! For $20 it's not a bad deal because obviously it works for some people, it just didn't work for us:(

Lawn and Garden Review Works great!
This pest repeller works great in my attic repelling squirrels. The squirrels have broken in three times and are gone within 15 minutes. I would not use this inside the house because it does make a constant chirp sound. I can't hear this noise in the attic, so I will buy another when this wears out.

Lawn and Garden Review Honest Opinion: they seem to work for mice
My story is this: Got some mice in the house at the start of the winter. Little poops all over, chewed cereal bars in the closet/cupboard, mice in the trash can etc. Laid out traps and caught four of them but still had: little poops all over, chewed cereal bars in the closet/cupboard, mice in the trash can etc. So I brought two of these units. At first I put them both in the basement where I had actually seen the little critters (I have a pretty big house) and I didn't see any evidence of them in the basement after two days or so but upstairs it was still: little poops all over, chewed cereal bars in the closet/cupboard, mice in the trash can etc. So I moved the "pest repellers" upstairs and put all my food items in plastic containers. I saw some evidence of a mouse in the trash the first morning but since then, nothing. I don't know if it was me storing the food better, the pest repellers or both but I have seen nothing. I have been moving these things around the house every other day or so and they seem to work for me. I would give the unit five stars but they do have one draw back, they do make noise. If you expect these things to be quiet your in trouble, they chirp. It's not too loud and doesn't bother our dog or us but it does make noise. For me the chirping is a small price to pay to get rid of the mice.

Lawn and Garden Review Cuts smooth and clean
I'm really glad I tried out this pruner. It is the best I've had so far and I have 60+ roses to prune. I haven't had it long enough to rate it's durability but I do know it cuts smooth and clean. And it cuts through some hefty canes. Be sure to remember it has rachet action and let go and reapply pressure for your cut. Excellent pruner for the price.

Lawn and Garden Review mothers day miracle
i finally did it right for mom. I have for years given her flowers, candy, clothes, perfume, yada yada yada. I got my first pressure washer a year ago and loved the thing, so i figured what the hell, lets get what for mom for mothers day. this one is perfect, it is light so she can move it wherever she likes, and strong enough to clean to my mothers standards, which are tought to say the least. I for once was more loved than my two kid brothers. i hope the old man likes it too, cause he is getting the powerwasher1750!!

Lawn and Garden Review Little clean machine!
This machine is perfect for me as i take a pressure washer up to my lake house weekly to clean off the back deck and front porch. This machine still packs a punch despite its size and is easy to move. It has performed beyond my expectations.
I was reading the reviews on the big machines by powerwasher and apparently they have only been selling on amazon for 10 weeks, so i would not take to much stock in the negative reviews.

Lawn and Garden Review Doesn't have it for the long haul
I've owned this sprinkler for two seasons and have had multiple problems with it. The first season it worked pretty well. This season, it no longer had the power to spin fast and looked more like a decorative water fountain than a sprinkler. At times, it would get stuck on level land and couldn't move forward. Other times, the watering "arms" would fall off and I had to keep reinserting them. I finally ended up using plumber's tape to keep them in. At present, it no longer spins and travels forward at half the speed it used to. It was not worth the $60 I spent on this product.

Lawn and Garden Review very fragile
I've owned mine for a week, and it worked great out of the box. I hooked up 5/8" x 150 ft hose to it, and as stated, travelled the length of the hose and stopped as expected at the stop ramp (which pushes a button (plug) to stop the water. The second time i used it, i laid out more of an S pattern which ultimately caused the dragging hose to get caught on a rock accidently, and caused the tractor to jump off the tracks and beeline into an immoveable object (short bush). the tractor didn't know it wasn't moving (ie. no clutch), and the wheels dug a bit into the ground, and ultimately the cheap plastic gears got stripped ([...]), and the tractor was not able to pull more than the weight half the hose (~75ft). fortunately I was able to return for a replacement (though the directions specifically state the forward motion of the sprinkler should not be impeded while the armatures are spinning - but accidents do happen!). I suspect the other negative reviews listed here had similar problems (ie. tractor not able to move, while the armatures still spun - ie. hose getting snagged, or tractor being impeded), which ultimately led to gears being stripped. you can buy replacement gear set for ~13, but who wants to do that? I think to make this a better product, the gears should have been metal (ie. strong enough to prevent the armatures from spinning, when the tractor itself has stopped), but I suspect that leads to other problems (ie. rusting), but more likely it's done this way because it's cheap. i still like it though, so i'm not returning it.. but down the line (ie. someone mentioned after a year or so), I'll just buy the replacement gear set to fix it.

Lawn and Garden Review Parts Availability
I love my tractor. It does not move because of a bad gear. I can't find parts. This is distressing.

Lawn and Garden Review Didn't work for insects
I was extremely disappointed in this product. We bought a couple of these in hopes of solving our insect problems. We had ants coming in through an outlet in the kitchen and brown recluse spiders coming down from our attic. I put one in the kitchen outlet, and the ants just kept coming in! They were even crawling on it! I put the other one in the hallway, and still I found couple of spiders in the bedrooms. Don't waste your money on this and other like products to get rid of insects. We ended up hiring an exterminator.

Lawn and Garden Review It does work
I bought one for a small townhouse. The main floor is about 500 sqft. The mouse (which used to come nightly) never returned after I plugged it in. I purposely left out food to lure it one night and it didnt show up. Great product.
I did have one minor problem. The original location was next to a metal a/c return grid. We could hear a harmonic noise. Moving to an outlet across the room fixed that.
I would recommend this product to friends. I got rid of mice for under $20 without poison or traps. I didnt have to worry about dead mice in the walls.

Lawn and Garden Review No more pests in my garage
We bought a trio of these Weitech 180-B units shortly after a minor rat-infestation had been cleaned out of our garage, hoping that this would prevent such a problem (lately common in our neighborhood) from occurring again, as well as drive away the scattering of spiders, ants, and other bugs that seemed to favor the nooks and crannies of our garage. We plugged two of these in opposite corners of the garage, and one in the nearby kitchen.

In the several months since then, I don't think I've seen a single rodent, insect, or arachnid anywhere in or near our garage or kitchen. Further, our dog doesn't seem at all bothered by them (although he does think they make great chew-toys, so we have to be careful where we place them). I plan on getting a few more of these to scatter around the rest of the house.

Do note that, from the various reviews on these types of devices, it may be that the efficacy of any ultrasonic pest repeller can vary depending on location or other factors. (Some units purportedly work great for some users and terribly for others, etc.) But the Weitech 180-B seems to work very well in my house, and it would be the first such device I'd try in any new location.
