I agree with the other reviews. Its light, quiet, and cordless. Unfortunately, it doesn't get the job done. Bought it for 50 bucks at home depot thinking it was a deal. Its good for about 3 minutes, and then the battery dies out so you'd be better off using a fan on a stick. Think I'll hire the big bad wolf instead.

Save your money. Buy a corded or gas blower with a metal impeller.

We have had two of these and live in a rural city and cannot locate replacement batteries... B&D should list the battery and price with the tool...If you read the fine print and let the machine run completely down and then recharge, you can sometimes improve the battery time/life

The cordless sweeper has lots of power and the great part is that you don't have to worry about plugging it in. You can use it anywhere..

It is good for about 15 minutes and then needs to be recharged.

We are happy with the purchase.

We live near a river, so our mosquito population is pretty dense, and I was excited about the possibility of getting such a neat device that would keep the critters away from me as I move about the yard. Unfortunately it just doesn't work. When I sat at my patio, looked at my wrist, the once with the Lentek MC05C strapped on, and saw mosquitos blatntly having lunch, I knew they had outwitted me again. I don't know about the other Lentek devices, but this one is a dud.

I did an experiemnet with this thing. I went into the woods in the summertime at twilight with this device and another person with a spray repellent that we have all used camping and we thought worked ok, in Virginia. We tried to take a walk in the woods, but we had to turn around because my companion couldn't stand it anymore, and I didn't have even one bite. It is an amazing repeller. I also have used it in the redwood forests in CA in the summertime at dusk, where the mosquitos are vicious, and it worked perfectly for me there too.

Only once did I go without my Lyntek Mosquito controller. That was the time that I got my one mosquito bite for the summer of 2002. I have watched the mosquitos stay at bay for a ridius of aprox. six feet. (I kept it set on the "Dragonfly Setting.)

When we went camping, there were others in our party that didn't have a control so before going to sleep, I hung it on a hook so that it would protect everyone in our party. It did.

I am presently on line trying to find a vendor so that I can buy more of them for us and relatives.

My experience with this repeller is negative: the mice are actually ATTRACTED instead of being repelled. It's been plugged for a month, and here's the result; we've never had that much mice before.

I'm disappointed, to say the least.

Placed in garage. Found mice attempting to set up a nest some 15 feet away from this device.

Ever since plugging in this product, I have had no mice visitors. Completely satisfied with results!

The storage container was ordered, delivery scheduled, paid for, but never delivered. Two weeks after the scheduled delivery date I contacted Amazon and now three weeks later have received nothing but a Run-Around of unkept commitments from Amazon Customer Service. Delivery was to be with ABF Freightways who evidently share the same lack of obligation that Amazon has for meeting it's commitments.

We bought one of these about a year ago to store misc. items by our plane at the airport. The shed went together easily, keeps items dry and out of sight, but it has several problems that make me want to replace it with something better.

When I first assembled it, it was clear the connections between the plastic pieces were not very sturdy. The worst are the door hinges, which are short, thin plastic "pins". The lid hinges, while somewhat more sturdy, have also loosened up over time as the sun warps the plastic. We always have had to be careful opening the top and doors or they will fall off the body. Occasionally even the non-hinged body panels come apart and have to be snapped back together. The lock is for looks only, because the door hinges are so flimsy that anyone could pry the doors off with their fingers.

The worst was this winter when a storm brought 20-30 mph winds. When I went to the airport a few days later the box had ripped wide open and the contents were soaked. The wind had tried to lift the lid. Because the lock held it to the doors, and the hinges are so weak, the lid and doors both ripped off and flew away. The force of them coming off toppled the shed onto it's back, making it a big rain/snow collector for our stuff. This was no tornado, just a normal winter storm, and not even a particularly strong one.

The box is still usable, but the force of the doors ripping off loosened the hinges still further, so they fall off whenever I open it. I now wrap a rope around the shed to hold the lid down and keep the shed from ripping open again.

I would definitely have purchased a different box if I had known how poorly this one is held together.

I bought one of these a few years back. I used it for storage on my roof deck. After owning it for two years I was looking out my 4th story window and noticed something large and green in the tree branches outside my window. To my horror it was the lid of the Rubbermaid unit - 4 stories up! The wind had ripped it off the unit and blown it into the tree about 60 feet away. I had to call the fire department to get the lid down out of the tree before it fell on someone.
I still own the unit but am thinking of replacing it. After years on the roof deck the lid is warped and the hinges on the door were never very good. I have had the same issues as the other reveiwer where even before the lid was blown off the unit, the hinge doors would pop out and the whole unit would have to be out back together. All together I'm very disapointed in Rubbermaid on this one.

This is a very good product. Easy to put together. Only one little flaw, the place where the lock goes. It is made out of plastic. It could be broken into in about three seconds. It is also easy to replace with a metal one. The rest of the shed it great. cudos to the shipper. Amazon has the best price going for this item.

We have had this 'storage unit' for almost 5 years and it's a perfect under the deck house for our dogs. We put a doggy door on one of the doors and there is plenty of room for two large pet crates, 5 gallon water and food containers and a heater or fan!

There has never been a leak, it stays relatively clean and makes a very cozy and dry place for our dogs to sleep and live in part time. They are inside with us most of the time but I was getting so sick of them disrupting our sleep by getting up and down from the bed and in and out of the covers.

It may seem a litte pricey for a dog house but it's been a great investment for us, our two dogs and our sanity and it doesn't have any signs of cracking or breaking after almost 5 years.

(incidentaly, I could SWEAR that we paid under $200 for this thing -- I guess since plastic is made from oil that it goes up like everything else does...yikes!!)

I wanted a good amount of space that I could hide in a corner of my yard. The sliding roof makes this one easy to access and lower profile than other larger storage units. Assembly was pretty easy, too.

It smoked and exploded in 10 minutes....

Just in process of trimming small shrubs and hedges with max of 1\8" branches, this thing suddenly started smoking and litteraly popped loudly and threw almost every circuit in the panel somehow.......

In the last year, I have had a B&D jig saw, a B&D router and a B&D kitchen mixer do the exact same thing......

Why can B&D make awesome drills, but everyone one of their other products that require a cord only survive a limited time with light use...Maybe it's bad Karma.....I love their drills though, but I think I'll avoid anything else B&D related like the plague before I go up in flames with it too.....

I am really happy with the product that I purchased. It is strong and sweeps through the branches and leaves with ease. The only thing I would change would be the safety. Once you let go of the "on" button during cutting, you have to start all over again. (but I understand the concept of it's reason for being that way) If you are looking to clean up your yard... this is excellent!

Just thought I would share my personal experience using this product. The trimmer works well didn't experience any problems after I used it a couple of times cuts well and even. However don't expect a trimmer that can cut exceptionally thick branches! As stated can cut up to 3/8" I would say probably that or a little less. For the reviewer that experienced severe problems... overheating and burn out, I suspect you may have used an extension cord that was not the correct gauge for the instrument... that can and would cause what you experienced with your machine. Personally would recommend this for the average gardener that just wants to keep hedges and shrubs in a neat manner.

This cart shouldnt sell for more than $10. I got this for my mother and tried to assemble it on Christmas. The parts are so cheap that they wouldnt even fit together. You might think it would be of a little better quality based on the price. I am returning it.

I read both reviews and decided to try the cart. It arrived today and I put it together quite easily. There are both diagrams and written instructions, and these are quite clear (in fact, clearer than most I've encountered). All the holes lined up very well. I used a little WD-40 and a tap with a rubber mallet to get the handle to slip down to the right spot. I put all my tools and gadgets in it and am quite pleased. It is well made and a very handy piece of equipment. I don't think I will use the bag holder but it is an option. I reccommend this product.

I was apprehensive about buying this cart based on the earlier unfavorable review it received, but I'm glad I did. It was easy to assemble, the directions were straightforward, and all the pieces were there (which, in my experience, doesn't always happen). Once I had it put together, I was very happy with how sturdy it felt and how well it held my equipment. It's exactly what I hoped for and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Melnor seems to be all I can find locally and the timers and sprinklers keep falling apart. They are really great for a month or two then the hose connction breaks. If you want a deal I have three broken sprinklers and four broken timers I will sell cheap.

I was amazed at how much sprinklers can cost, and came across this one because it was affordable. I've had it working for about a week now, and have to say that it does a great job, was simple to set up, and gives my lawn an excellent watering every time. Highly recommend this.

this sprinkler out-preforms ALL others in its class and covers more sq. area than all of the 3500 sq. footage sprinklers,i have purchased and RETURNED.like putting a gentle FIRE-HOSE ON YOUR SPRINKLER.

I bought the unit because it was suppose to be adjustable to the size you wanted to water. You can adjust the three outside holes to squirt or not in order to narrow the watering area. You can adjust the amount of water pressure to shorten the distance and, you can adjust the amount of oscillation to control the range of the watering. The problem is, these things only work as long as the unit oscillates. If you cut down on the water flow it stops oscillating. Of course, it always waits until you get back inside the house before it stops so when you look and it's not oscillating, you don't know how long it has been stopped. On occasion, it even stops oscillating with a full flow of water so you really have to keep an eye on it. Not worth the trouble.

If you need a reliable sprinkler that is simple to adjust and dependable, get this. In fact, buy two, so you can water front and back at same time.

ever since I purchased my first Melnor 4200 several years ago I have, as they have broken, replaced my other "much inferior" sprinklers only with the Melnor 4200. Never have I seen such superior coverage and dependability in a sprinkler. It is completely quite. I have finally replaced all my other models with the Melnor 4200, and have complete control over my lawn watering needs. I even contacted the Melnor customer service when I needed filters where the hose attaches and received in the mail free filters. What more could you want, unless its rain!

Effective, well, not really.

Yes, it does shoot water about - but mostly straight into the air. Its supposed four setttings are just four different ways to throw water into the air and mostly in one spot.

I purchased the sprinkler because of several oddly shaped areas in my yard, but it does not cover any of the areas effectively.

Not a very effective or useful sprinkler.

We love this sprinkler!!! I have been in every hardware store in the Bergen County area (and there is a lot of them) looking for another Turret sprinkler unfortunately ours broke from excess use and I have not been able to locate another, my last extreme was to find it on the internet. I love it because it can water my long narrow gardens without wasteing water by hitting the house and other areas that don't need to be watered as much. It also covers my sqare front yard. I have tried many imitations but there is nothing like the real thing.

I've purchased these sprinklers for many years from the hardware stores in my area. I was very disappointed to discover they didn't have them this year. Instead, they carried cheap plastic ones. I like this turret sprinkler because of the metal feet which allows it to slide over the grass when I water and doesn't get caught on the grass. It also lasts a long time. It's built! Unlike so many products that are coming out these days. I also like the different types of spray this model provides. It fits all the all the strange shapes of my lawn. There, I've said my piece.
