Lawn and Garden Review another broken driveshaft
I haven't had my trimmer for more than 3 months when my driveshaft broke. My last trimmer lasted for 4 and a half years. I expected more out of this thing. When I called Troy they told me it wasn't covered. The driveshaft would cost $60. This sounds like an engineering issue to me.

Lawn and Garden Review 4 cycle is better
The 29cc 4 cycle motor has more power, is more quiet and vibrates less than similar sized 2 cylce units. The unit is nicely balanced for use.I used it with a power tiller attachement and found it performed much better and was easier to use than a similar sized 2 cycle unit.

Lawn and Garden Review Troy-Bilt TB425CS - It's worth the money!!!
I went through many many weedeaters from Walmart. You know, the cheap ones that you think you can get by with. They certainly look better than the electric type, cause you don't have to tug a cord around and be limited by it's length.
I finally broke down and got a Troy-Bilt TB425CS. And I haven't regretted it since. I've had it for a year now, and it still starts on the first pull, every time. It's nice to have the oil seperate from the gas, then I don't have to worry about the oil to gas ratio being correct.
I definitely definitely definitely recommend getting one of these trimmers. It'll pay for itself and save your hands and sanity.

Lawn and Garden Review Lasts one season
The first season I used the sonicweb I felt it alleviated the mosquito problem. After storing it in the garage for the winter, it lasted only one week into its second season. Lucky for me it was still under warranty. I sent it back and received a new one, which stopped working after two weeks. By not working I mean electrically dead, no sound, no pulse, no lights. It was an expensive. mistake.

Lawn and Garden Review Don't Bother
I tried the SonicWeb last year and sent it back within the first 3 weeks. To their credit I did get a full refund. The thing didn't attract mosquitos. There were a variety of flying bugs that trapped, but it appears this was due more to their accidently flying into the thing randomly vs. being attracted. After week #1 I had maybe 30 bugs in total trapped. I ended up buying a Mosquito Magnet and am happy with it. Within a day it trapped 10 times the mosquitos than the SonicWeb did in a full week.

Lawn and Garden Review Works Great Here in El Paso
We've had ours for only two weeks, so we cannot attest to long term durability. We can say that this machine is doing a fine
job in attracting and killing insects - mosquitoes and house flies - and we can finally enjoy our patio and pool with not a
single bite. Further, we have fewer flies inside the house. Our area is reporting more and more cases of West Nile, and this machine has been a great addition to our yard.

Lawn and Garden Review swivel grass shares
does not operate properly. the blades do not close all the way. a defective product but amazon's return policy is so convoluted that i can't waste my time trying to return it for the cost of the item.

    Lawn and Garden Review broken
Our shears worked well enough, for a time this summer. They they broke in half. Not very sturdy, I'd say.

Lawn and Garden Review Good service
The first pair of shears I received weren't working properly, but I called the 800 number of the package and was immediately sent another pair--and they work great. I particularly like the long blade and the ability for the blade to swivel.

    Lawn and Garden Review Dissappointed
I have to say I'm dissappointed in this product. I wanted to keep some ants away and it's had no effect at all. A little tiny spider has even built a web off it. It's supposed to keep those away too. Anyway, I can't return it becuase I would have to pay shipping and handling and that would cancel out the refund.

Lawn and Garden Review Useless product
I bought a set of 5 (or maybe 6) and put them in the garage and basement to get rid of spiders and small crawling bugs. Months later, conditions are still the same.

Lawn and Garden Review WORKS FOR ME
Ever since I plugged it in, even little ants don't fool with it. I didn't think it would work at all, but wow.

    Lawn and Garden Review Junk
Upon unpacking the box of the first machine I brought home I found it had been previously filled with oil and then inverted in shipping leaving a rather large mess on my garage floor and hands. I was told this was possibly a test unit. Not a good omen. but my local Sears here in Utah did replace it upon return. I had better luck with the second one and it did a nice job picking up leaves (for a while). After approximately 1 hour of use the coil high tension primary side decided to melt and not supply a spark. Being a Porsche mechanic and not wanting to wait the two weeks I was told for a repair I replaced it myself. This was for the Black and Decker engine. If you live where I do you have a very short window from when the leaves fall and the time they would be covered by a foot of snow! I then finished up the yard work that first season in about another hour. Now it is season two and the machine is off warranty. I started this season to find the plastic leaf bag attachment had become hard and brittle, taken a stretched out set, and immediately broke, bummer. This machine had been stored inside and not out in the weather. I made due by tying it up as best I could with rope and a bungee cord. I then gave it a change of oil and fresh gas only to have it not want to re-start after the first tank of gas. The only way to get it to start was to let it sit for a couple of hours. It's almost like an old vapor lock but is exasperating as one only has so much time during a weekend that one is willing to mess with a product. The next morning the machine started right up and ran for about 30 minutes before oil was spewed all over from what I believe must be the bottom main seal. Enough! With the economy the way it is and the high price of fuel it would be much wiser and cheaper to hire someone at even $50 dollars an hour to do the work all the while doing something more productive with ones time. In a word this machine, if not a lemon, is a poorly designed piece of JUNK, don't waste your time. Help your local economy while saving money, time and trouble. Mark

Lawn and Garden Review really doesn't
This unit is not worth the time it takes to start it!!

Lawn and Garden Review Good for the price
I purchased mine last year and found it to work well on all surfaces. No it won't suck up every watered down, trampled on, been there for two months leaf. But it does a great job getting the loose ones and even most bedded down ones. My wife loves the hose attachment for me getting the leaves out of her flower beds. I used to use the old rake and pull method which would also remove half of her flowers. All in all a great machine for residential use.

Lawn and Garden Review broke the first time out
I got about 20 minutes of use out of this and I was just thinking that it was doing really well for the price, when it broke in two going through a 1/2" piece of ivy.

On closer inspection, the middle is made of plastic. It should really be metal. It turns out the ratcheting mechanism gives more torque than the handle can take.

It might be good for cutting flowers or something, but don't rely on it for bigger jobs even though it says it is good up to 3/4".

Lawn and Garden Review Outstanding design, variable quality
I purchased two Fiskars Ratchet Anvil Pruners. One failed almost immediately due to a crack in the molded plastic housing. The other one has proven to be rugged and effective in cutting grape vines almost 1 inch thick.

Lawn and Garden Review Best clippers
I have worn out a pair of these pruners and have used them for cutting bigger limbs than ever possible with non ratchet pruners. That's why I've just ordered three more, one for me and two for my daughters. The ratchet just multiplies your strength.

Lawn and Garden Review It works!! But Only for a short time!!!!
I purchase my unit a little less than one year ago and now I am shopping for a different brand. It worked fine for the first summer season in Texas, but now that it is spring almost summer--it does not turn on at all. I have completed all of the manual's troubleshooting in addition to purchasing a new bulb and cable for it. But, it does not work anymore after only 1 summer usage! I do not recommend!!!

Lawn and Garden Review Does not work!!
I picked up this unit hoping that it would do the job in my backyard, all that it has picked up is a few "flying insects" nothing else. Unless I am missing something, do not waste your money.

Lawn and Garden Review Works so far
Caught hundreds of mosquitos in one night, looks like moths are in there too. Maybe they are after the light inside?
My yard seems to be better to be in, but still getting bitten guess next few weeks will tell.
I paid 1200 for Commercial Pro Mosquito Magnet 2 years ago and it is in the dump now. Biophysics did not stand by there product. So gave this much cheaper option a try. Deep Woods OFF is still my best defense.

Lawn and Garden Review Not impressed at all!
I recently bought the Stinger UV15. It worked well for one month! In that month I followed the recommendations for cleaning it and keeping it clear of dead bugs. Well just shy one month and the grid has completely failed so it attracts the bugs, but doesn't kill them. This product is not worth the money!

Lawn and Garden Review Not worth purchasing
I purchased a 40 wt Stinger Insect Killer from Home Depot last year and the bulb started shorting out after 3 months. Since it was near the end of the season I decided to store it and replace the bulb when I put it out in the spring. The bulb was replaced but would only work intermitently. Insects also clogged it after a couple of days. I gave up on it and recently purchased a Flowtron BK 40 and it works great Don't waste your money, buy a Flowtron instead (my last Flowtron lasted over 20 years with the same bulb).

Lawn and Garden Review ONLY THING THAT WORKS FOR US
We live on the water....front and back! We can not go outside day or night without these zappers. We fog, put out larve killing donuts in any standing water puddles in the spring. We hang two Stinger bug zappers. Each night there is a PILE of dead mosquitos under each one. Every three days we have to blow the screens clean with the air compressor. I can go three doors away and eaten alive by the neighbors mosquitos. We bought an expensive Mosquito Deleto- $400.00 What a waste of money! It caught 6 mosquitos to the Stingers MOUND! We have had bug zappers for as long as they have been out and can't live without them! We feel safe about West Nile virus in our yard. Can't say enough good things about these lights.

Lawn and Garden Review Don't waste your money
These things don't work. We've had two of them in our yard for 4 months now. In that time, we've killed 6 moles with a trap. Some of the burrows were within 5 feet of the molechasers. They have absolutely no effect on the moles.

Lawn and Garden Review Limited effectiveness
I bought two of these units for large infestation of moles. Initially, they were very effective. You could see the tunnels streaming away from the units. However, within two weeks the moles adapted to the noise, and they were back full force. Changing the batteries to get the units back up to full tone was of no help.

To date, the only non-lethal way to deal with moles that I have found seems to be castor oil spray, which is expensive, but seems to last 6 -10 weeks depending on rain levels. Wiping out food souces (grubs) also works, but I haven't found an effective non-toxic way to do this yet.

Lawn and Garden Review This one is not working.
I like this product, it does keep my mole problem away. I have several (5) in the ground. Only thing is they just don't seem to last. The most expensive model has lasted the longest. The refurbished model that I just received stopped working sometime during the first week.

Lawn and Garden Review I tripped on mine
There is such little light given off from these...I actually tripped on one. I placed several along the walkway leading to my front door. Only about half of them work at all anymore. The rest provide very dim lighting and only for a short period of time. I live in Phoenix and we get A LOT of sun light. So, I think the solar panels are just not quite what they should be.

Lawn and Garden Review Sunergy White Cornerstone Light
First off, this is a solar light. It is for ACCENT lighting.
Unless you live in a complete blackout area, it will not light
your way. What this light does do is cast a bluish-white light
that accents whatever landscaping you may have and can be seen even without the light. I gave this three stars because 1 of 8 lights will only stay lit for about 1hour. All the rest have been staying lit for well over 5 hours and I've yet to have a sunny day since buying them 3 days ago.

    I'm pleased. ...Not bad....

    Good luck.

Lawn and Garden Review If you want light, then this is a light.
I can't believe how light this light is.
