Don't Waste Your Cash
worthless noisemaker
We're happy with it!The reason we love it now, though, is that it is keeping the RABBITS out of our garden! We used to have three cats that did the garden patrol to keep the rabbits away, but unfortunately, we lost two of them over the winter. In the spring, when I planted my broccoli plants in the far corner of my garden, the rabbits started to eat it, killing about 3 plants and severely 'pruning' about 10 more. I tried putting the mole repeller in that patch, and it has worked like magic! The rabbits are living up to their reputation of being afraid.
In addition, we haven't changed the batteries in the repeller yet! We took them out for the winter, but our Duracells are still going strong!
I don't think I'd be enjoying my great broccoli crop without this product, so I'm one satisfied customer!

Garbage
Black & Decker? Whatever!First, the openings for the bugs are very small. I was as if they made this unit to be hung in a kids room. It produces almost no light for the bugs to "see."
Second, there is alost no way to clean the bugs off of the electric wires. The instructions say to use a blow dryer to blow them off, but it is like using a blow dryer to remove bugs from the front of your car.
Third, there is no on/off switch. When it is plugged in, it is on. Something this simple on the power cord would have been nice.
The unit kills the bus that get near it, but it does not "attract" bugs from my backyard like it should. Almost any other light source is brighter, so the bugs are attracted to them (the patio light, for example) rather than the bug zapper. I would recommend a different zapper.

The other (bad) reviews are correctDuring the first summer of use it barely caught any mosquitos (if you count 15-20. I would expect a shopvac to do as well.) and there was no difference in the level of mosquitos in the yard.
The next year it would not light so the propane was useless. It cannot be repaired and customer service is a joke. I regret ever purchasing the product, especially considering how much I spent on it. I feel like a real sucker.
You might as well give your money away to charity, it will do more good.
DO NOT BUY!!!
Excellent Pest Eliminator For Your YardThe previous reviews did touch on a valid point considering the customer support dept. If you call, get ready to not be helped very much. They will sell you a replacement part or another trap, but that's about it. I would advise you to email the customer support dept. They have friendly and helpful people here and they will get back to you quickly. Notice I did not give this trap 5 stars? Well, their is a reason. The regulator on the propane gas hose went out after one season and I had to replace it. This trap is very heavy compared to the newer models because of the solid steel construction. You also have to light the pilot flame with a match. The newer models have a gas grill like igniter button. This trap is also kinda loud because of the large vacuum fan. It will suck in all kinda bugs though. If you want a lighter and more quiet trap for your yard, I would recommend the Lentek MK12 model. I just set one up for my sister and she loves it.

A Waste of Effort
poor construction
Wonder worker!!The only drawback in the design is the way the tip is secured. I pulled the stake out of the ground and the tip was left behind; in order to extract the tip, I had to dig it out (which was a messy proposition... at best).

- Features a convenientto use 31 inch thumb operated hose
- Includes a translucent tank
List price: $20.62 (that's NaN% off!)

A Piece of Junk
Good for occasional spraying onlyIt has an easy fill spout, and comes with detailed instructions and a one year warranty. There is a spare parts kit available for this sprayer.
Unfortunately, it's not designed for heavy duty or continuous use, and after a while, the plastic trigger breaks off, and usually gets lost by the time you realise it's gone. There is no replacement trigger unit, so you have to buy a whole wand, which can cost as much as a new sprayer. It sometimes loses compression, requiring minor repairs, and can be quite cumbersome to carry when filled.
A useful sprayer for the occasional gardener (once a month use), but of you intend to use it a lot, buy a more expensive model, such as the Hudson Perfection, Bugwiser or Suprema back pack sprayer.
