I also use it for planting ground covers, seedums, etc. Works great. I refuse to carp about minor price differences, but I paid under $20 for mine at Home Depot.

Well balanced, flawless Honda 4 cycle engine saves mixing of gas and oil. Very quiet compared to any other trimmers.

I have a 3 acre heavily wooded lot and the annual chore of trimming and limbing was not fun... until now!

I finally broke down and bought the Husqvarna 326P4 pruner. I was unsure whether to buy the P4 (13' reach) or the P5 (16' reach) but my dealer recommended the P4 and said if I didn't like it, I could trade up to the P5 (for the price difference). After using the P4 for a year, I have found the P4 to perfect for my woodlot. Over 80% of limbs I need to trim are within the 13' reach. (If your trees are more mature and spread out, the P5 may work out better).

But the real value of this pruner becomes apparent after the limbs are on the ground! You can slice and dice the limbs into manageable sections without bending and stooping (what a back saver). The 6' shaft is the perfect length for cutting back thorned locust trees and other tough to reach pruning jobs (this task would not be as easy with the longer p5).
I can now trim more in 30-40 minutes than what I could accomplish in 6 hours with a manual polesaw or with ladders and chainsaw (not the safest activity). In fact, it takes me far longer to haul the branches to the chipping pile than it does to cut them down. I can't say enough about this saw.

The 12" bar gives more than enough cutting range and the chain (3/8" low profile Oregon chain) has a narrow kerf and minimizes damage to the tree. You typically don't need to do an undercut unless the tree bark strips easily (maple, etc.) The saw is very smooth and extremely well balanced (comes with a shoulder hardness that carries the weight of the saw (around 11 pounds) except when you are reaching the top of the cutting range. The 1.2 hp is more than adequate. It starts easily and requires almost no maintenance.

These path lights are delightful. No 2 are alike as each is handmade. The quality and beauty are there. The glow softly along the walk providing just the right amount of light. truely worth the price.

We've used this sickle to cut water reed (phragmites communis) for thatching matieral- it has worked great for this purpose. We did modify the handle a bit- we taped on an extra piece of wood (branch) to make the handle eccentric, and used a colorful tape (red hockey tape, sticky one side). This helps give a better grip through gloves, and to work with it in cold weather. The colored tape makes it easier to see when on the ground. For the price, I would recommend it to others. I expect it would work on vines such as grape vines, but not so well with small trees; the teeth start to grab the wood too much to use it for typical sawing purposes.

these are a wonderful starter for those who have no green thumbs, and i would also guess for those who have them.

just add water and they expand and allow the seeds to be covered. the greenhouse works great in an apartment..i can have it in the window and not have to worry about any drafts.

i am using it to make a small herb garden, and so far everything is growing well. its the first seeds ive ever planted that didnt die within the first week.

This small, single sprayer serial sprinkler was just the answer to my dilemma of how to water the 5 x 35 foot strip of grass in front of my home; oscillating sprinklers all oversprayed onto the sidewalk, and the "soaker" type hose sprayers were erratic. This little number is stable, precise, and easily attaches with PVC pipe segments to make a custom strip sprinkler. It was the answer to my lawn care prayers!

This is a great tape measure, even if you are right handed. This way I can hold the case in my left hand and use my right hand to write, and the graduations on the tape are not upside down like they are on all other tape measures. Of course its a great tape measure for leftys as well, since the graduations go in the opposite direction, and the belt hook is on the opposite side

Oh my God, this is the BEST item I have ever bought in a LONG TIME for my construction need. There are MANY cheaper ones, and various Laser items on the market these days, however, THIS, is all you need, IF you want a REAL DEAL. VERY Accurate, and MANY easy to use fucntions to come with it~!!!! WOW~! I am IMPRESSED. GREAT INVESTMENT~!
