If you are considering an in-ground, permanently installed sprinkler system, but are put off by the price and the disruption to your lawn getting it installed this sprinkler is an ideal alternative.

What I like is the large coverage area of this model, and the fact that you can daisy chain a large number of them to cover an entire lawn. I am using Gilmour 50' hoses (ASIN: B00002N67S) to daisy chain eight of these sprinklers. Although the effective diameter of this sprinkler is 90', as you daisy chain them the pressure is bled off, and consequently, the rated coverage decreases. I recommend using 50' hoses to daisy chain if you are going to use 6-10 of these sprinklers. Even with ten sprinklers daisychained, you will still get some overlap.

Another thing I like about this sprinkler over a permanently installed system is you can concentrate on specific lawn (or garden) areas without wasting water on areas that do not need it. I live in an area where there are water restrictions, so this feature makes this an ideal solution.

The sprinklers are sturdy, and can be adjusted to cover less than 360 degrees, allowing me to concentrate on flower beds when I do not need to water the entire lawn. One final advantage is that you are aerating your lawn when you push the spikes into the ground - and that task is easy because the spike is configured to push in by stepping on it.

There are never enough people to get debris cleared from your yard and owning the Maxi Lopper is by far the best tool to have.

WOW!!! This works as well as any gas chain saw without all the tugging on a rope. I have cut down three 12" trunked trees and trimmed large limbs off my live oaks. I am very satisfied. So much so I went back and got their electric polesaw too.

I now have 2 of these and the moles, chipmunks and other burrowing animals just seem to have gone away! It really does work.

I had problems with the packaging of the bamboo but AM Leonard were more than happy to accomodate and reply to the problems I had. For that I give them top marks. Also, i am an avid gardener and have been very happy with the quality of the bamboo. The natural canes are quite nice and I for one will be ordering from this company again, in fact I am going to recommend them to other gardeners.

I already have tomatoe and sweet pea fines starting to grow on this bamboo. Great to find someplace on the internet that sells (in bulk) this stuff

according to the catalog extra shipping cost applies to 9-12 foot long stakes, but it also applied to the 8 foot length when I bought a bale in 2004

It is perfect for your hand grip. Use it for sharpening your mower blades, and pruning shears.

I used this product to build a whole patio. This thing is awesome. It beats mixing concrete with a shovel. I used it to mix 80 lbs. bag of concrete and it mixes it perfectly. Just pour 3 lids full of water and an 80 lbs. bag of cement, close the lid(make sure to seat the rubber gasket correctly or water will leak and gasket might get damaged)and lay it on its side and push it around with your foot for 30 seconds. The only thing I'm not sure about this product is the o-ring(rubber gasket)... it looks fragile but its not damaged yet after all that mixing. I'm ordering a replacement just in case. I accidentally used it without the rubber gasket once and only a little bit of water leaked out. When I opened the lid, still, the concrete was mixed perfectly!

I moved to a property that has a thriving mosquito population. I purchased the Skeeter-vac 35 as it seemed like a good value compared to another brand.

I was entirely mistaken. The suction on the fan was so poor I sent the engine back to the manufacturer for replacement. The new engine offered a very slight improvement in suction but despite a yard swarming with mosquitos the "wave trap" captured very few mosquitos, the low tech, messy sticky paper did a little better.

I've tried moving the unit, adjusting the flow to the chemical bait--nothing makes this product work better. It is among the worst consumer products that I've ever purchased.

I bought this unit last summer and we noticed a difference right away. After about a months use we were sitting on our deck at dusk under a light and we were not bothered at all by mosquitoes and this is in Michigan where mosquitoes are plentiful.
