If you've got a file and some boy scout skills use those.I got one of these with my dremel tool. It works, but I really think a dremel tool is underpowered for sharpening applications. I spent some time trying to sharpen my shovel with it and finally gave up and grabbed a file and had it finished and a second shovel in less time and with far less noise. Let's face it, neither shovel or lawnmower blades need to be as accurately sharpened as a knife and a file will work handily, cost the same and last longer.
An A+ for effort, an F for functionalityI got this with my Dremel XPR and I was actually looking forward to trying it out, as we have an old hatchet that despretly needs sharpening. I put it on and I went to get the hatchet, and the little slot that the blade goes in was just a little bit too thin. So I finally got it in and I turn on the tool and in a shower of sparks it starts working, but I couldn't get it to move, so now I had a gigantic dent in it, I eventually got the hatchet sharpened without the attachment. and much better, too. I haven't tried it on the lawn mower yet, though. But it doesn't work well on anything besides shovels for me.
Good for midseason sharpeningThe Dremel lawnmower blade sharpener works pretty good. But only as a midseason blade sharpener. Be careful sparks fly all over the place with this tool. If your blades are really dull take them to the pros but at midseason this tool will help put the edge back on a mild dull blade. Buy extra 932 grinding stones because you'll go thu them quick.

They should make clear this is a generic, "one-size fits all" grass catcherThis is a barely acceptable product. It is intended to fit all types of push mowers, from 14 inches to 20 inches wide. Needless to say, it cannot do the job suitably for all of them. Can't speak for how it works for other sizes, but it does not work well for the 20 inch mower.
Useable...I suppose., I purchased this grass catcher to use with my new Scotts Classic 20" reel mower. The mower's great. The catcher isn't. The fit is...well...iffy. It snaps easily enough on the bar above the rear roller assembly, where it awaits the most inopportune moment to detach itself. I've found the best way to counter this is to lift up on the handle when pulling back on the mower, thereby avoiding telescoping the grass catcher (and dumping the cuttings back on your lawn). However, the mower cannot be pushed with the handle raised even slightly or the clippings will spill forward out of the catcher. Also, on every path or so it's necessary to reach down behind the blades and sweep the grass toward the back of the catcher: otherwise there isn't enough room for the next batch.
I guess this thing will have to do, as I have yet to locate a better device. But I'm looking.

Instructions to attach 1ST-SP to Scotts 2000-20-20I bought a Scotts 2000-20-20 and wanted a Grass Catcher with it. Though all the reviewers warned of not having the instructions to attach this grass catcher to Scotts 2000, I went ahead and bought it. My catcher arrived with no instructions at all. Fortunately, the same model was available in my Home Depot and I went through the instructions. Completely useless.
Here are the instructions and the material you will need. This is what works great for me. Your experience may vary
1. Place catcher close to the Black rod behind the catcher.
2. The grass is thrown to your left, if you standing behind the catcher. So place the catcher to the extreme left of the black rod. The space on the right hand is not a problem.
3. Cut four square patches of small Velcro and attach to 2 pieces to the black rod and 2 pieces to the catcher on either end where the steel rod is exposed. This prevents the catcher from sliding to the right.
4. Use a strip of velcro to attach the catcher securely to the black rod.
5. You are in business. Go cut some grass.
The velcro helps in detaching the catcher from the scotts for easy storage (duct tape works, but is too hard to remove. You can use twistix, but the catcher slides)
Have fun.

Yard-Man 12A-469P701 6.5, 21 in 3N1 Self-Propelled MowerAmazon sent me a 2003 model, that had two wheels damaged and yellow hubs missing. Had to order from the Manufacture and they did not send a hub cap. Found the 2005 model for $259.00 at Home Depot and Amazon will not honor there low price Guarentee, they said look at the fine print. I ordered the mower from Amazon at work, and if I waited until after work and bought the mower I would have had a fully functional product for $40.00 less and it would have been a 2005 product.
Shipping PoorThe box was total open when the mower arrived. It looked as if the lawn mower fell out and was put back into the box. Oil came out and clogged the air filter so the mower was not able to start. I replaced the air filter and the mower now works 100% but I would be wary buy items like this online again.
Shipment and initial useI received the lawnmower in perfect condition ready to have the gas and oil put in, raise the handle and start mowing. I have only used it once but was amazed at how easy it was to turn corners with it and the speed with which it moved. Good walking pace for me. I was mowing high grass with the mulch mode in use and it did overheat. I will use the bag for the rest of the high grass and hope that fixes the overheating problem. I am very pleased with this lawnmower

Does Not Work At AllI bought this for the auto on and off. I destroyed 2 expensive Marine Batterys because it never shut off and overcharged the Batterys.
I personally would not recommend this charger
I personally would not recommend this charger
Awful ProductI bought this charger about 1 year ago. The handle broke off of it within the first 6 months (cheap plastic. The control knobs are cheap and come off easily. The automatic shut-off never did appear to function properly. I had it stored in a controlled environment and just went and got it off of the shelf. Now the charge side will not function at all. Being an electronic enginneer, I decided I could find out why. When I opened the box, something I don't recommend anyone without experience doing, I saw a product that is pieced together quite poorly. I am not at all impressed. Think I'll try a Schumacher now instead of even trying to fix this piece of shabby craftsmanship!!
Winter insurrance! This charger features an Automatic On/Off, which will automatically shut off the charger to prevent overcharging and destroying a battery. It will charge a standard 12 volt battery in about 4-5 hours, or boost a battery to start your engine. It works with all types of 6 and 12 volt batteries. It is about $...-... less than buying it in discount automotive stores in the lower 48 States. (don't even ask what it costs up here in Alaska!)

Reel Lawn Mower: Accu Mower Electric
Made by Brill

Average review score:

Cheap plastic no power.Bought this a year ago...I have minimal lawn to cut and had a Ryobi cordless before this; a much superior machine. The Brill has a lot of plastic on the body covering the motor and battery compartment. Mine, in the second season only, has broken where two screws hold it to the chassis - cheap. The motor is essentialy open to the inside of the cutter - meaning grass and dampness get all over it; not good for an electric motor. The battery is also used for other Brill electric tools - so it is removeable with a shoulder strap attached. It must be removed from the machine to recharge, a nuisance. Also, the way it fits into the machine is of poor design - very difficult to remove and every time I do it I am worried something will break. Now in the second season of use the battery already seems to be losing power and the blades spin much slower making cutting a real chore - a replacement battery is 100 bucks. I also purchased the grass catcher - the blades really do not spin quick enough to throw the grass into the back of the catcher, so, you will be emptying it a lot. When working well - the reel design does cut much better than the rotary blade type. STAY AWAY - not worth it!! The new Sunlawn electric reel mower seems to have addressed some of the probs with the Brill - better, less costly and more easily purchased battery and they claim it will cut longer grass.

Swisher Deluxe Trimmer/edgerI'm well pleased with this item, came fully assembled except for handle. Just add oil, fuel and cutter strings, you are ready to put the finishing touches to the yard or tackle the rough.
I previously owned another manuf. unit and find the Swisher to be better built plus having the option to adjust angle of cutter head and edger position. As a senior with lots of aches and pains this big wheeled trimmer/edger with electic start fits my needs and allows me to maintain my property.

Not as nice as I anticipated...The unit has issues with the wheel bearings popping out of their seats. It needed washers to hold them in. Washers that Swisher said it doesn't need, however they stock them as a part and send them to you at no charge. They also recommend gluing the wheel bearings into the wheels. I think for the money I spent I shouldn't have had to do all this. On to the next item. The plastic guard shield that sits above the trimmer head. It is absolutely useless. The one that came with my unit was broken as well as the relacement that they sent me under warranty. I am awaiting another one. My advice is to stay away from this unit and buy from another manufacturer.

Song of the SirensWell I must say that I was lured to the thought of a mower cutting the grass while I was doing other things. You can say I was like a Greek sailor and the Robomower was the Sirens. Anyone who knows Greek mythology knows that the Sirens lead Greek ships into the rocks and sent the sailors to their death. Tis the story with the Robomower.
For the high price of this mower I expected it to last more than 3 years without a major repair. My blade motor went out just after three summers of use. Since I live in Michigan my mowing season is quite short. Of course the mower is out of warranty. The cost of shipping for the repair and the repair itself is not a cost effective choice. I could purchase a low-end gas mower for the same amount.
Seems to me the technology has a little ways to go yet. I wish you luck if you choose to purchase the Robomower. For me I am going to wait until they are better built. My recommendation is you do the same.

Poorly made to last just passed the warranty periodI purchased the RL800 in April 2003 from Amazon, hoping to get out of mowing the lawn. I ended up wasting lots of time and money on this useless device instead. My original review for the mower was actually positive. It worked well for the first summer and I didn't mow the lawn once with my push mower. I even recommended it to my coworkers. But the following spring, we got a lot of rain which caused the ground to get saturated. The robomower wheels lost traction in the wet grass and kept getting stuck in the middle of my lawn. I had to go out to push it along at least 5 or 6 times. I would have been better off taking my push mower out and mowing it myself, which is what I did until the ground dried up. Once summer came around, I brought the robomower out hoping it would perform like it did the year before. Wrong again! After less than 2 hours, the battery ran out of steam. The robomower is EXTREMELY slow so 2 hours is nowhere near enough time to completely mow my lawn. And yes I did read the manual on how to properly maintain the battery. I constantly charged it even while not in use. And during the winter if temps fell below 0 degrees, I was instructed to remove the battery and place it inside somewhere dry, which I did. Hoping to salvage use for the robomower, I purchased a second battery and the rapid external charger this year. I manually mowed my lawn with a push mower for the beginning of this year while the ground was too wet for the robomower. Then when it dried up enough, I decided to let the robomower take over. I unleash it on my lawn and 20 minutes later it stops. The robomower was beeping with the error "Check Power" message on the controller. I bring it back in and try charging it, but the error doesn't go away. I plug the power supply into another power outlet on a different circuit breaker and get same error. I put in my second battery and still same error. I end up calling tech support for assistance. Coincidentally, the 2 year warranty just ended in April so I was one month passed it. Their diagnosis was possibly a bad power supply and/or bad controller. When I asked if they could help me fix it, they told me not without getting charged even though I was only a month out of warranty. Keep in mind, I would have found out sooner about the problem if the robomower worked properly when the ground was a little wet. Thanks Friendly Robotics! So don't make the same mistake I made. Just mow your lawn yourself like I do now.

Spend more elsewhere and get a better oneI have this particular charger and it's a waste of money. A month after I bought it, the timer wouldn't work in the "on" position. Another month later, the timer wouldn't wind down. You could set it for 15 minutes but the charger would stay on forever. Lost a couple of batteries before realizing this was the problem. 6 months later, it doesn't work at all.
This charger also doesn't include a diode to prevent draining the battery if the charger is unplugged. It might also drain batteries when turned off, but I can't verify that.
I'd recommend spending $$$ more and getting a better charger. I did.
