I've got a new best friend! This mower is clean, quiet, and runs like a top! Perfect for my city size lot (60 x 150). Runs about 35 minutes, then just plug it in and forget it.

This Husqvarna ROCKS! The cut is very clean. It can cut very tall grass with ease. I really like the tires too (seems to go over muddy areas without much sinking). This brand came HIGHLY recommended & I'm glad I took the advice. I'm looking forward to getting some attachements for it.

Nicely engineered mower. I have had Husqvarna Chain saws for years, but this is my first experience with their other power equipment. I wanted a good reliable self propelled mower, but didn't want things like blade brakes, etc... Before purchasing I looked at mowers ranging from $275 to $550. Performance/value, not price, is my deciding factor when I buy tools or equipment.

Very easy to start with self opening choke. Honda engine is very smooth with very light pull start effort. Power is more than adequate.
The rear wheel self propelled drive is excellent with infinitely variable speeds. I like the top end speed, which is very brisk. The drive control is convenient and easy to use for operators with large & small hands (my wife has no problem using). Drive mechanism is accessable and easy to clean. Mower is very easy to maneuver both when the drive is engaged or not.
I especially like the single lever mowing height adjustment (note- mower deck is counterbalanced with a spring so adjustment is effortless).
Very easy to change mower from mulching to bagger or to side discharge. No tools, just easy plug in's.
The mower deck pulls a very strong vacuum. I have been using it to clear heavy, wet leaves and it doesn't leave anything on the grass. This mower is superior to any leaf vac that I have ever used. Plus, it really shreds the leaves using the standard blade. Note: The vacuum is so strong that I cannot start the mower on my gravel driveway, it literally sucks the stones up, this is not an exaggeration.
The bagger is very quick & easy to install and empty. It is 2.5 bushels. I do wish the bag was bigger (3.5-4) for leaf collection. The normal bag is fine for normal grass cutting operations. Normally I mulch the grass.
Mulching is excellent. I tested the mower on some overgrown sections of the yard and it performed very well leaving very finely cut grass clippings without bogging down.
Note: The mower deck is stamped 14 gauge steel, very nicely powder coated. If you are used to a cast mower deck, this one will be a little louder as it will "ring" (typically of stamped decks) when you hit twigs or other debris (i.e. driveway gravel).
Shop around on price, my local dealer gave me an end of season deal at $350. After using this mower, I can't justify spending more money

Unlike Murray baggers, the Husqvarna baggers are made of thick plastic, that can stand up to a beating. Only tool needed to installed this thing is a wrench, (to replace back bolts on frame to install the bagger frame). Everything else snaps into place. The three bags (as I call them) have handles on each one to pull out when it gets full. It is a must have!!

Before purchasing the Husky 2148 I looked at John Deere, Cub Cadet, White, Yard Pro, Craftsman, and Agco Allis. The Husky is made by the same company that makes Craftsman...but it's built to Husqvarna specs. What finally sold me was simply value for my money. The 2148 has a Briggs and Stratton 21hp Vanguard engine (made in Japan), a 48" deck, and hydrostatic drive. The engine alone sell for over $1,300 at Northern Tools. I paid $1,799 for the 2148, the dealer split the taxes with me, and delivered it 20 miles away free of charge. The 2148 isn't loud, doesn't vibrate harshly, and has plenty of power. I cut just over 3 acres, and it takes it in stride. Like I said...it's a value for money consideration for me, and the 2148 beat everything. Take a hard look at the engine in the mower you're going to purchase, and if it's either a B&S Vanguard, Kohler, Honda, or Kawasaki you'll be happy. B&S make several different engine lines, and the Vanguard is the only one that has a commercial-use warranty...2 years. Properly maintained, the engine will be running long after the rest of the mower is worn out....in about 15 years. Good Luck in your decision.

This lawnmover cover fits standard push lawnmowers. It is a high quality cover that has elastic to fit snugly on the mower. I was pleasantly suprised at the quality of the cover and you can't beat the great price!

Direct Relacement for a Briggs and Stratton at half the price. Can't beat it!!!

When Fall Season arrives, my husband is busy cutting down trees on our property for our woodburning stoves in our home. He would be busy from dawn to dusk cutting logs and then splitting them manually to fit into our woodburning stoves. Our property has all types of wood from oak, elm, hedge, locust, walnut. Some are easy to split and others are very difficult.
The Swisher LS11534 Log Splitter (34Ton 11.5 HP) is not only MADE IN AMERICA, but the company is in the Midwest, same as us.
This logsplitter is towable and will split in either the vertical or horizontal position.
My husband couldn't wait to get put this "bad boy" through it's paces. We fired it up and split wood for about 2 hours. The logsplitter split those logs like a HOT knife through butter. It was fantastic. We ended up with as much split wood in 2 hours with the logsplitter that it used to take my husband 8 hours to split manually.
We are very pleased with this product and the Swisher Company Customer Service couldn't be nicer. I've contacted them online with several questions and they have always responded immediately and very professionally. I am so glad I bought the Swisher Log Splitter for my husband. (he is too)

...The ZT1436 is ...It is a bit noisier than other brands I have tried, but for the money I saved it's bearable.It does the same job around trees and plantings as the more expensive units and for me should last a lifetime as I do not intend to use it daily to mow for a living.(Professional brands)I would recommend this to anyone with "stuff" to mow around as it cuts your lawn care time in half(even less) so you can move on to other interests.Just as easy to use as the Big names zero turn units, only half the price.So far I am quite pleased.Parts are available internet and phone, but no local dealers for service.I figure I can fix anything that may go wrong and they will supply the parts if need be.This Zero turn mower actually makes lawn work fun!
