I bought this to mow field grass with my ATV and add it to my lawnmower with a 4' deck on it. It works very well, it got bogged down once in some thick wet weedgrass but other than that it has worked great. For $1400 plus FREE shipping (500 lbs) it certainly has saved me from buying a 10K plus tractor.

I bought the earlier model T1360B1, 3 years ago,which is identical to the current model, but only has a 13hp Briggs& Stratton engine. I cut five acres with this mower attached to a Cub Cadet Tractor with a 60 inch mower also. Combined they make short work of my yard. The Swisher has given me no problems, wish I could say the same for the Cub Cadet............

The customer support is great, but it is to bad I had to use them the day I bought it. No instructions on how to put the machine together. Then I had/have a problem with the mower.

Swisher told me how to bypass a saftey feature to get the machine to run.. Have not reset the bypass since I need the mower. Not thrilled about having to run it this way.

Arrived crated up and secure in a lift truck. Took a few minutes to uncrate it... put the handles on and the shifter rod... added some oil and gas. Took 30 seconds to read the manual... pushed the lever to choke and pulled the handle to start the 11.5 motor and shasham!! Started the first pull!! I have 3/4 acre to mow and here in MA it's still a little chilly. Bur what the heck... I went out and mowed the lawn and it was perfect!! Nice handling, powerfull, and mowed in less than 1/2 the time as it normally takes. Even my neighbors had to take a look at this thing!! I think one of them went home to order one... hope it lasts forever!

Mower dies, I order new one. First one I received after waiting a week was so banged up (box and mower) it was hard to tell anything other than this: my grass is getting longer and the first two guys that had THIS unit didn't like it either. Wife is saying I told you so. Yes, you could tell it had been re-sealed twice before. The wheel adjusters and brackets were WAY bent due to POOR PACKAGING.(wife won't shut up) The frequent traveling of this unit caused engine damage; 2" deep indent to the METAL flywheel housing...it ran for 20 secs. and screamed I give up. Wife is also screaming. The engine is locked, NOT siezed (my mechanic's opinion). Amazon wants me to go to Authorized Dealer!!! WHAAAA? We all know that means 2 weeks. Can't ship back since I put gas in said lemon. Wife is FREAKING and the grass has taken one of our cats. Amazon takes pity after hearing wife in background wage holy war...on me. The second one comes in 6 days/6 inches ; box looks better, wheel assemblies WAY bent again,( I don't tell wife) no apparent damage to engine. I fix wheels, start engine, it runs, I mow a 15" jungle by now and it doesn't skip a beat. I'm starting to think I might survive this whole mistake. Briggs & Stratton thank you, thank you, thank you. Can't beat those engines. MOWER: good. ENGINE: great. PACKAGING: Pathetic. AMAZON CUST.SERVICE: excellent. This mower, for the money, could be a 5 if it wasn't so abused.

Yard-Man's incorrect packing this mower resulted in two consecutive mowers with identical shiping damage deforming the left rear spring lever. This occured because unlike the other wheels, the left rear wheel spring lever was packed engaged in one of the notches in the left handle bracket so that the wheel stuck down. The other wheel's spring levers were packed unengaged by their brackets and did not stick down. During packing and shipping, loads on the left rear wheel deformed the spring lever so that it would not properly engage in the notches.

This does not seem to be an isolated problem but a system problem in preparing the mower for shipping.

Good savings on product for one, saved on shipping, very ez start, pushes ez. Bag comes off easy for emptying,just need to empty often else it gets hard to push (lol) found out the hard way. Great item for the money.

I use the Trailmower behind an ATV vehicle to mow our walking trails at our log cabin in Central Wisconsin. The mower cut my mowing time in half! The mower does an excellant job. Cutting height adjustments are quick and easy using the three deck adjustment screws. I did find that the stock height adjustment screws did vibrate loose somewhat, and I addded a locking nut on each - works perfect in holding the desired cutting height.

I have been thinking about a push mower for a long time... but wasn't sure I wanted to spend the money on one, especially since we have a power mower. But darn, I hate that old gas mower. It is such a pain to get gas for it... mix in the oil, etc. etc. I just never mowed the yard, leaving it to my Dear Husband. This Spring, my husband was so busy he didn't get to the yard and I got tired of looking at it, so I dragged out the power mower and after several minutes of priming and pulling, it finally lighted up. I mowed about a quarter of the yard before it ran out of gas. Argh.

Strangely, later that day, I passed someone who was selling a Great States lawn mower in a yard sale. Home it came! Well, I finished the lawn lickity split. I LOVED it. It was lightweight, very quiet, small enough to fit in tight spots and did a great job clipping the grass. Even my 8 and 4 year olds took turns... something that they wouldn't be allowed to do with the big power mower.

The downside: Yes, there are weeds that this mower couldn't cut... we have some weird, coarse grass that was already out of control and I had to go back and snip it by hand. I think, though, that now that it is the same length as the rest of the grass it will be fine. And yes, it did get caught on twigs... I had to stop a couple of times to clear it out. But other than that, the mower worked great. I couldn't believe how easy it was to push. We have about a 1/3 of an acre... pretty flat, so the mower worked like a dream.

No more waiting for my husband to mow the lawn... It's my job now, and I love it!

I bought this exact tractor from Home Depot rebadged as a Ryobi brand mower for $1299. The manual refers to poulan-pro.com for a website. The parant company is Electrolux who also makes the popular Husqvarna brand name.

I was in the market for a Husqvarna but could not afford one with the features I wanted. What I was looking for:

1. Lubricated Pressure Engine
2. Cast Iron Axile
3. Hydro-static transmission
4. Quality build

This Poulan Pro model has all of them. I have used it a few times and it cuts very even and the engine power is perfect. There is backwards cutting with a saftey switch, amp meter on the dash, and working headlights.

Excellent product but it doesn't get 5 stars because I wanted an hour usage gauge and the fuel level is not a visible while you are riding.

I have a very small lawn, and no garage - just basement storage. So, I wanted a light mower that I could carry up and down the bulkhead once a week and would trim the small lawn. The Bully has done pretty well. I love the fold up feature, which lets me store the mower in a small area. I don't mind the reduced (15") cutting path. It only takes 20 minutes to mow my lawn anyway. I love the rechargeable feature. Tons better than using long extension cords.

It's not a very powerful mower, so don't expect it to chop through 6 inches of thick spring grass. You have to keep up with the lawn.

Bits of information:
If you want to adjust the wheel height, make sure to turn the mower on its side. It's much easier that way.
Make sure to charge 24 hours before first mowing. Don't be impatient.
The mower holds a charge better after you charge it 2 or 3 times. So, if it's bogging down the first time you use it, it should get better.

I have always been a fan of lawnboy mowers. This mower is very powerful and easy to maintain. I prefer the two stroke models, but this 4 cycle has the power to make up for the increased maintenance. If your not afraid to mix gas and oil, get a 2 cycle, it will last forever. MY grandfather still has his lawnboy purchased in 1958 and mows with it weekly.

Good hard working add-on. The Troy is compatible with Ryobi extension. Easily connected and disconnected.
