I am the sort of person who is very meticulous, and I would rather have one well made tool than a dozen cheap ones. Having said this I must say that I am thoroughly impressed and pleased with the DW824 grinder. It has good balance, A LOT of power, and is made to last. I especially like the quick-adjust guard, this makes it really convenient to use when grinding at different positions. The extra long cord all but eliminates the need for an extension cord, and the power in this small package is awesome!! I have yet to bog the motor down!! I looked high & low at all other grinders of this size (4 1/2" & 5") and I feel that this one beats the others hands down. I would heartily recommend this grinder to anyone.

I got this tool free when I purchased the 18v xrp combo kit. I laughed when I first saw it and quickly told my wife that it was her drill. Well, I picked it up one day to hang some blinds as it fit better into the space than my 18v drill and couldn't believe how well it worked. Since then I have used it for everything from driving drywall screws to driving 4 inch deck screws. That's right -- 4 inch deck screws! And it has very good battery life. I reach for it now instead of my 9.6v makita when I have small jobs. I just wish this thing the ability to hold drill bits because it would be great for small jobs. Overall I am very pleased and demand quality from everything. I have no patience for poor engineering or workmanship and this did not let me down.

This is the tool to have when you need to countersink and drive multiple screws !!!! The very sturdy design will provide the ruggedness you expect from all Dewalt products. The included magnetic bit for screw driving will prove quite handy when you begin to install your screws. Once you get your hands on it, you will wonder how life ever existed without it.

I used this blade with a DeWalt 8.5-inch sliding compound miter saw on my recent flooring project. I was putting down a laminate/composite floor. The recommendation of the flooring manufacturer was for a carbide blade with a lot of teeth (60 on a 10-inch blade). I had to cut many angles because of the shape of the room and the saw/blade worked very well. Cut surfaces were very smooth - almost like they were planed. No chipping of the laminate surface, except to a very minor degree when I had to plunge the blade because the angle put the start of the cut right at the edge of the material.

I also used a laser guide with this blade. The laser guide is reliably at the left edge of the kerf, so you can get very close to the exact cut location you want.

The cutting noise is a bit lower than carbide blades with fewer teeth.

No complaints - the blade works as advertised. I also have a 7.25" Freud carbide blade on my circular saw (a Milwaukee) and it works well. This is one reason I decided on the Freud for the DeWalt saw.

The foot controller is a great addition to a Dremel tool. It allows you to concentrate the use of your hands on the tool and project without worrying about operating the switch on with your hand. The foot control allows you to keep your hands on the tool and project, yet still being able to turn the Dremel off when completed. This is even more useful when cutting objects. You will have no more worries about a running Dremel with a cutoff wheel and a loose piece from your project falling as your hands are holding both the whole time. Just from a safety standpoint this is a great attachment to have.

I think that these pieces are a great addition to anyones workshop. They work great for sanding in those hard to reach areas and the saws make great finishing cuts. I think that if you have to buy for someone that has a dremel this is the perfect gift. They are great for outlining body parts of animal cutouts. This is the best cutting and carving set that I've used. I hope this helps you decide on what you think of this set.

This is a big assortment of pieces for the dremel tool, it has everything to do those house`s work, even a sharper, and it comes in a box to hang in a wall, the box is very usefull, come with spaces to save more pieces, and its transparent, so you can find what you need really fast. I recomend 100%

This thing is awsome for drywall. I am hanging sheetrock in my house right now, and this makes things a whole lot easier. I use it with the drywall bits, and it cuts out doorways, electrical boxes, lights, etc super easy and fast. Before I was wearing my arms out using a wallboard saw, and making a huge mess while doing it. With the Dremel Advantage, I can just stick it in where I need cut, and follow the contour of the doorway/box and cut out a nice smooth opening every time.
The adjustable depth lets you not cut too deep, and the variable speed keeps it from getting out of hand.
I love this tool, and very much worth the price to save a lot of labor.

These bits are great for cutting out drywall. It is much less messy than using a board saw to cut out electrical boxes, around door frames, etc. I used to wear myself out trying to cut around a door frame using a board saw. The crumbled up mess on the floor and jagged edges on my drywall were awful. Using one of these bits in my new Dremel Advantage made a big difference. I can zip it around a door opening in no time. Cutting out electrical boxes is neat and clean as well, with no off location holes any more.
I recommend these highly to anyone doing drywall.
